Chapter 102 (1/1)

Woozi heard the doorbell ring.  He stood up from the foot of the bed.  He looked at Yeosang who came from underneath the bed with a box.  They look at the clock and nod, seeing it's nine o'clock. "That better be San,"  Woozi said, "otherwise we can kiss the plan goodbye."  He walked out of the boy's room and went to the front door. He looked through the peephole and saw that it was San, prompt just like they told him to be.  Woozi opened the door and looked up at the man who had dyed his hair a different color.  Instead of his deep red that he had for a while, San has his hair being black with white at the ends. "Hey.. you said nine, right?"  San asked, looking at his watch. "Yeah.. what did you do to your hair?"  Woozi asked.  "You've had your hair red since J12."  San stepped into the house when Woozi moved out of the doorway.  "I wanted to have a little change up, that's all."  San said simply, taking his shoes off and putting them on the rack.  "Is his room still down this way?"  He asked, pointing at the hallway. "Yeah, he preserved his sister's room."  Woozi confirmed, looking at the door that had glitter stickers on it. San hummed and walked with Woozi to the end of the hallway.  Opening the door, Yeosang is squirming under his bed.  The taller laughed as Yeosang's shirt went up, showing his belly button as he struggled under the bed.  "Cute.."  He folded his arms. "Need help over there?"  Woozi asked. "I'm stuck.."  Yeosang's legs stop moving. Woozi shook his head and went under the bed.  He saw that he was wrapped up in some clothes and the clothes were caught on a sharp end of the bed frame.  He snapped some thread and Yeosang was free.  "Am I alive?"  Yeosang asked as he got out from underneath the bed. "Unless we're all dead, yeah, you're here."  San said, folding his arms and looking around. Woozi stood up and looked at the clock.  "Okay, you're obviously taller than me."  He said.  "While Yeosang works under the bed, let's get things from the shelves over there."  He pointed. San looked at the box on the floor before looking at the martial arts trophies.  He cracked his neck and stood on his toes to get some of the ones that were higher up, handing them to Woozi who put them in the box.  "You seriously want all of these trophies in your room, Woozi?"  He asked. "I'm not moving those to his room,"  Yeosang folded the clothes that were under his bed, "mom wants me to move them to the attic to clear space in here."  He said. San raised an eyebrow.  "Make space?  Is someone moving in?"  He asked, relaxing his legs due to the shelves being equal with his height now. "My aunt is going to be staying here for a few months,"  Yeosang replied. Woozi saw that the shelves had books on them.  He moved to a different box to put the books inside.  "The biggest trophies are going in my room though."  He chuckled. "Naturally.."  San muttered.  He saw a card fall from a book he picked up.  He looked at the small card and handed the book to Woozi.  "Oh.. it's an old letter I sent you.."  He looked at the stuffed animal designs he made on the outside.  "I still remember sitting in my room while Wooyoung was getting pampered during his birthday party.." Woozi looked at the taller who was examining every part of the card.  "I wish I still had Mr. Squiggles.."  He chuckled.  "He was the one who truly listened to me."  He sighed and put the card down.  Yeosang stayed silent.  "Can I keep this?"  San asked. "I think you should."  Woozi said. San put it inside his jacket.  Meanwhile Yeosang looked at the clock.  He made a little gesture to Woozi that says it's almost time.  Woozi nodded.  "Next we need to do the closet."  He pointed. San was surprised when the little bean pushed him into the closet, closing the door behind them.  "Let's just work here, okay?"  Woozi said, pointing at the shelves.  "We have plenty of boxes and Yeosang said he wants everything inside them."  He tasked. "Okay.."  San obeyed and went high on his toes to reach the things on the rack above the clothes.

Yeosang looked at the clock.  He stood up and went down the hallway and opened the door as Mingi just entered the gate. He then saw San's shoes there.  He quickly put the shoes under the couch and then looked up at Mingi who just got up to the door. "That eager for me to help?"  Mingi asked with a raised eyebrow.  "Yeah.. I figured we needed some guy time, you know?"  Yeosang chuckled a bit.  He saw that the taller had a look of suspicion on his features. Mingi put his shoes on the rack and walked with Yeosang to the other’s bedroom.  He saw boxes on the floor with things already inside.  He had a perplexed stare before looking around for what needs to be worked on. "I have some things in my dressers that need to be put in boxes,"  Yeosang said, "mostly things that my mom got me from the factory."  He explained. "Kay, you look like you've done a lot already."  Mingi opened the first drawer and looked at all the toys that were in there. Yeosang looked at the shelves. "Woozi helped a little.."  He said.  "Anyway, about San.."   "San this, San that!"  Mingi picked up the toy car that was as big as his hand.  "Do you know?  Not even food crosses my mind nearly as often as that boy San.."  He sighed. "Everything reminds me of him and it's starting to scare me.."  Mingi sighed as he picked up the horse next. Yeosang raised an eyebrow.  "Everything?"  He asked.  "Pineapple."  He tested. "His selfie he sent the other day, his hair looking like pineapple leaves."  Mingi said as he looked at the dinosaur he picked up. Yeosang put his knees to his chest.  "Blue."  He mentioned something else. "He said that he had a blue carpet in his closet when he was thirteen."  Mingi replied. "Cotton." "Mr. Squiggles was made of cotton.."  Mingi sighed and looked at the toys in the box before opening the next drawer. Yeosang looked at the closet door, knowing fully well that San could hear everything.  The closet doesn't have that much insulation around it.  "You think about him so much, but you don't even believe in the stork.."  Yeosang mentioned, knowing that it was San's main concern for their relationship. "At this point, whether he was born by a woman or brought by a bird, it doesn't matter."  Mingi looked at the motorcycle before putting it in the box.  "to me, it's like he was brought by an angel.  I fall asleep thinking about his beautiful smile and wake up to it." Yeosang hummed and looked at the taller.  "Song Mingi is in love, such a rare occurrence."  He said, pushing his clothes to the side. "When he's around, I forget about all that shit at home.  He makes me truly happy and worth the space I occupy."  Mingi admitted.  "I want him to know how much he's worth, I want him to smile and know that by at least one person he is loved. "I just wish I could actually tell him it to his face,"  Mingi looked down, "but I always mess up when seeing his hopeful eyes.. Whatever comes out of my mouth always makes him upset.."  He sat down, opening the third drawer. Yeosang looked at the carpet.  "Do you want to spend the rest of your life with him?  Or do you only want him as an outlet?"  He asked, nonchalantly looking at the closet door. "You always talk about how once birds are together, they stick together."  Mingi said.  "I don't want to be the kind of bird that has many mates, I want to take care of only him and our chicks.."  He said, playing with the robot he picked up. Yeosang chuckled.  "Looks like the dove got you all poetic.."  He commented. Mingi smiled and nodded. "I like the way he affects me, it's like I'm a better person."  He explained. "We're only our best when we're near the one we love."  Yeosang said with red cheeks, imagining Woozi's blushing smile on the other side of the door. Mingi looked at Yeosang.  "Thanks for this.. I'm sorry if I annoyed you with this.."  He apologized. Yeosang put a hand up.  "No need, I think someone else wants to comment on your little confession though."  He mentioned with a smirk. In the closet, San looked at Woozi who nudged him to open the door.  He wiped a tear and turned the knob.  He looked at Mingi and walked out of the closet in small steps.  Mingi stood up automatically, locking eyes with the dove. "I.."  San looked at the floor, thinking of what he wanted to say. "I'm touched.."  He muttered. Mingi looked from the dove to the younger crow.  "Y-you.. he.. the closet..?"  He pointed at the closet behind San. San cleared his throat and lightly dabbed his eye so as to not smear his eyeliner.  "I wanted to ask those things since the day we first had lunch.. but I never had the courage to ask.."  He said, not making eye contact with the other male. "I'm sorry I couldn't say these things to your face without making it awkward.."  Mingi looked at the other’s different hair color.  "I think your hair looks nice like that too."  He commented. San looked up and smiled a bit.  "Thank you.."  He said, stepping a little closer.  "An angel didn't drop me off, it was a dove.." He corrected "Doves are beautiful too.."  Mingi stated. "Doves are just sent to-" "Forget that,"  Mingi interrupted, "the reason for your existence doesn't define you.  You're talented, smart, strong, beautiful, and caring."  He said, walking closer to the dove and cupping San's cheek. San looked up at him with stunned eyes.  "It doesn't matter if you came from a stork, eagle, dove, or owl - you're your own, unique person who I love and want to take care of."  Mingi continued in a strong voice.  "If you'll let me, I'll try growing wings to fly with you."  He said. The dove's eyes pin on the male.  Yeosang watched in shock as San put his hands on Mingi's shoulders, pulling him in for a kiss as their eyes stayed locked.  San looked scary being in his trance.  But to Mingi, he looked beautiful. "I'll have your children, Mingi."  San said in a whisper, watching the man's eyes. "Is-is it okay if we go?"  Mingi looked back at Yeosang. The crow smiled and nodded.  "Most of everything is finished, have fun."  Yeosang permitted. The entranced dove was walked out of the room and out of the house.  Woozi looked at Yeosang with a smirk.  "Alright, love guru~"  He chuckled as he closed the boxes, taping them up with the tape roller. "That was more work than I thought if was going to be."  Yeosang wiped his forehead. "Just imagine, in a few years, you'll be giving this kind of advice to our kids."  Woozi smiled before leaving the room with a couple of boxes. Yeosang smiled sadly, looking down at the carpet.  We can't have kids..  He thought before moving the box of clothes to the car while Woozi was in the attic. *** Monday, everything was back to normal.  Jaemin was in Seoul, Hoshi's trip to Iksan went without incident, and work on the expansion continued into the new week.  Currently the start of class time, Dino watches as Renjun walks into the kitchen-like classroom in an apron that says cutie pie. "Where did you find that apron?"  Dino raised an eyebrow at the light pink material. Renjun looked to the side.  "Mom got it for me.."  He replied. "Well you look adorable," Dino commented, "would you like to change into something more your style?  Or are you okay with that?"  He asked, knowing that the boy doesn't like to be cute all the time like his mother wants him to be. "I'd like a plain apron like yours."  The child requested. Dino nodded and opened the drawer to get out his spare apron.  He tied it on the boy and put the pink one in the drawer.   "Okay, so the first thing we're making is that cream cake you helped me out with that one time."  Dino informed.  "The twist is that there will be fudge on the top."  He snapped his finger. Renjun's eyes go wide at the mention of fudge.  "Will I be able to taste it?"  He asked. "A good chef eats while baking,"  Dino put up his index finger, "we can try the flavors, but let's not eat up the ingredients."  He chuckled. Renjun giggled and stepped closer to the older.  "Which Renjuni am I entertaining today?"  Dino asked as he took the cocoa powder from the boy. "I'm tame today."  Renjun replied, going to the cabinet to take out the flour and then to the fridge for a couple eggs. Dino cracked the eggs and then turned around to throw the shells in the garbage.  When he turned, he saw Shownu approaching him and the Chinese boy. "Hey"  The bigger started with an upset tone, "who do you think you are?"  Shownu asked with his arms crossed. Dino saw anger in the other's stance.  "I don't know, what happened?"  Dino asked, not thinking of what could have gone wrong. Was it because he won the weekly baking competition last week and Meiqi didn't?  "Don't play dumb, you know what you did."  Shownu said angrily. "What did I do?"  Dino widened his eyes, he could practically see the steam coming from Shownu's body. "You fucking kissed Meiqi on the roof!  That's what!"  Shownu shouted.  "She's my girlfriend." He said. "Excuse me," Renjun stood between them, "that's a false statement."  He said. Shownu put his fists at his sides.  "Oh who are you.."  He had an annoyed expression. "Dino's assistant, I would know if he kissed anyone."  Renjun defended the older. "So turn your tuchus around and go back to class."  He ordered. Shownu huffed before shoving Renjun.  The force was strong, causing the boy to hit the counter before the floor.  "Ahck!"  He held his arm. "Renjun!"  Dino rushed to the boy.  "Are you okay?" Renjun starts crying.  "Ahh.. ah!  It really hurts, Hyung.."  He tried moving his arm.  "It hurts!"   Dino purses his lips before looking back at Shownu.  "That's it, you can push me around and hurt me in stork school, but you're not hurting my boyfriend."  Dino walked up to the taller. "Get the hell out of here before I sick the whole martial arts class on your ass, Shownu!"  He shouted, pushing Shownu back by an inch. Dino turns back to Renjun.  "Does it hurt to move your fingers?"  He asked. "Not too much.."  Renjun muttered.  "Hyung.. I'm sorry I'm not strong enough to protect you.." He apologized. Dino shook his head helping the big stand up.  "I don't care if you're not able to take on an army, I'm really touched that you wanted to stand up for me."  He said softly, turning the oven off and unplugging the burner. "What good am I if I can't protect you though?"  Renjun asked as Dino walked him out of the classroom. "You love me, right?"  He asked, making their way to the infirmary. "Yes.." Dino smiled.  "That's all I expect from you."  He kissed the boy's cheek. "You're still growing, so don't call yourself weak just yet."  He chuckled. The nurse examined Renjun's condition.  It seemed like Renjun's elbow was dislocated.  He was given medicines that won't disturb his hyperactive medicine.  "Just be careful on it."  The nurse smiled, giving the boy a lollipop. Renjun sighed and looked at the treat.  "Even in a college I'm being treated like a child.."  He took the wrapper off and stuck the lollipop in his mouth. "I'm treated like a child too..  Mostly by my dads.."  Dino stated.  "At the end of the day, aren't we all kids that need a spanking for something?"  He smiled, holding Renjun's hand. "I guess.. I can still help in the kitchen."  He mentioned.  "Can I at least watch the rest of the day?"  He requested. Dino nodded and walked back into the kitchen.  "You can watch and lick the beaters."  He winked. "You're treating me like a kid too.."  Renjun smiled sadly. "Stop thinking about it."  Dino chuckled.  "Adults like sweets too.  Just look at Seungkwan."  He gave an example. Renjun giggled and sat on the counter.  "True." Dino put his arm around the younger's waist, coming in for a whisper.  "I'll give my hero man a reward tonight, okay?"  He said in an attractive voice. Renjun's eyes go wide.  "Re-reward?"  He asked. "You just sit back and I'll ease your stress, Renjun."  Dino winked before turning the oven on.

Although it would have been a lot better if Mingi were to have said everything face-to-face, getting out his thoughts helped him speak to San better.

Shownu is mean..
