Chapter Twenty-six (1/2)

Saturday comes up and Seungcheol is able to get out of going to work.  He lined the kids up, making sure that each one had their uniform on.  Mingyu had recently acquired his uniform, but he accidentally dropped some pizza on it while bringing the slice to Jun the other day. "Are you kids excited?"  Jeonghan asked, walking in with a suit on.  He heard the excited squeals, cheers, and saw one smile from the quiet child.  "Alright, daddy wants to have special time with all of you.  So please behave yourselves but also have fun." Seungcheol smirked and took Jeonghan's hand, leaning in to whisper.  "We could change to a different place if you think they'll be too much."  He said. Jeonghan shook his head.  "Who wants to go look at some art?  This gallery has both picture-taken art and paint brush art."  He advertised.  "Everyone into the bus~"  He herded.

Joshua sits in the back with Mingyu, Woozi, and Seokmin.  Being that they're the youngest, Joshua wants to make sure that they don't get hurt.  He looked at Mingyu's dark skin and hair that stood out from the other kids, especially Woozi.  "Hyung,"  Seokmin gained the other's attention, "is Woozi okay?"  He asked. Joshua looked past Mingyu to see the boy sleeping.  "Mhm,"  He patted Seokmin's head, "he's fine." Jeonghan looked through the rearview mirror with a small smile.  He turned on the turn signal and listened to Hoshi teaching Jun about his tiger ancestors. "They have sharp claws and big teeth!"  He raised himself in his seat.  "Rawr!"  He giggled a second later.

"Daddy-Cheol, will there be food at the place?"  Jun asked with a raised hand, earning a judging look from Wonwoo behind him.

Seungcheol laughed.  "There might be some small snacks. But don't worry,  we'll have a huge dinner."  Seungcheol assured.  "There's a restaurant nearby that has wonderful food."  He advertised. Jeonghan smirked at the cheers that came from the awake children.  Woozi and Mingyu were napping.  He looked back at Seungcheol for a moment before looking at the road.  The children went back to talking to one another.

"Thank you for doing this,"  Jeonghan said in a voice only audible to them, "I've been feeling a bit lonely lately too, but I'm really happy that things are working out."

Seungcheol sighed.  "If we keep having more-"

"We're not done, Seungcheol."  Jeonghan said with a small laugh.  "I want those babies the stork has lined up for us.  But at the same time, I want us to live well together."  He said, taking a peak at the GPS. Seungcheol nodded and put his hand on Jeonghan's thigh.  "I feel the same way."  He agreed. "Things are starting to even out at the company after I fired all of those people.  We're hiring better employees, and the company is finally doing better."  He informed with a smile.

"That's a relief.. Mr. Kim really needed a new adviser, huh?"  He said teasingly.  "He's very fortunate to have my smart husband as his adviser."  Jeonghan gave a proud smile.

Seungcheol blushed and looked at Jeonghan's reddish-brown hair.  "I think blonde will be good next, what do you think?"  Seungcheol asked.

Jeonghan chuckled.  "I'm gonna do black to cover the red and then once my hair recovers, I'll do blonde."  He turned into the parking garage. Seungcheol nodded and watched them go from floor to floor to find a parking space.  "You hold Woozi's hand, I'll hold Seokmin's hand."  Jeonghan whispered.

The other male nodded and looked back at the kids.  Wonwoo woke Mingyu up while Joshua woke up Woozi. "Alright, let's have some fun.  There are lots of artworks here, so be careful to not knock something over.  I want pairs to hold hands, and please don't go too far without one of us."  Jeonghan instructed.

They all agreed and left the vehicle.  They went into the elevator to get to the ground floor and then went into the art building.

Holding Mingyu's hand, Joshua walks up to some picture-taken art.  His eyes go wide at the beautiful sunset followed by the fauna captured in the water.  Seungcheol walks up behind Joshua and holds his shoulders. "What do you feel while looking at the picture?"  Seungcheol whispered loud enough for Joshua to hear.

Joshua looked up at him.  "It's beautiful and I feel.. at peace.  Especially since you're here."  He said nervously. Seungcheol smiled.  "Keep walking down this way then.  Let's look at the art together."  He said, looking at Mingyu and Woozi too.Joshua had an excited smile.  Seungcheol could tell that the boy was honestly happy.  They walked together and looked at the skillfully taken pictures and read the quotes from the photographers. Meanwhile, Jeonghan goes down the sculpture path with Seokmin.  The other kids were more interested in the painted works, so he was alone with Seokmin.

"Oh this is so pretty,"  Jeonghan looked at the carefully hand blown glass duck.  Her bill is glossy black and her wings are brown.  "My duckling, isn't it gorgeous?"  Jeonghan asked, looking down at Seokmin. "I miss Woozi.."  He said, staring at a sculpture of twins holding hands.  "Everything reminds me of him.."  Seokmin sighed.

Jeonghan knelt in front of the younger.  "Woozi's with Cheol-daddy.  Why don't we start on our way to the photography section?  It's connected to this one as long as we follow this path."  He showed the red ribbon and then the sign further ahead.

"Yes!"  He said excitedly.

"But let's not skip over the art, okay?  Woozi's on the other side looking at art too."  Jeonghan stood upright and continued to walk through the section.

Seokmin looked around and guided Jeonghan off of the path.  "Daddy!  Look at this one!"  He pointed up at the gorilla sculpture with bananas in its big hand.  "I learned about gorillas and monkeys in school yesterday."  He said, causing some other people to look at them.
