Chapter Twenty (1/1)

The weekend rolls by and Joshua volunteers to watch the other kids while Seungcheol and Jeonghan go out.  Jeonghan was a bit worried, but seeing that the growing boy was responsible with taking care of Hoshi and Jun at school, he agreed to it.  That and Seungcheol insisted on them going out. Jeonghan hummed while looking out of the window.  "Woozi's off of formula now."  Jeonghan commented, thinking of those cute lips looking at him.  "He likes the little instruments that Josh's friends bring over."  He said, putting his hands together and watching the road. Seungcheol looked in the corner of his eye for a moment.  Jeonghan's dark hair went through the breeze that came in from the window being open.  His forehead is exposed and his smile is bright.  To not get them in an accident, however, Seungcheol looked back at the road. "How have Hoshi and Jun been acting at school?"  He asked, putting his turn signal on. "I've gotten calls from the teacher for Hoshi,"  Jeonghan started, "he's really made some of the sad kids there happy with his tiger act."  He continued, closing the window. Seungcheol stopped at the light and looked at Jeonghan.  "And Jun?"  He asked. Jeonghan smirked a bit.  "He signed himself up for martial arts class.  Can you believe it?  A three year-old deciding for himself that he wants to start something he can't even enroll in until he's at least five?"  He chuckled. Seungcheol turned back to the road with a laugh.  "He's just securing his position in the class then."  He joked.  "We're here." Jeonghan looked around and saw that they were at a car dealership.  He got out of the car when Seungcheol did, and closed the door in unison.  He pursed his lips while looking around.  He sees many new cars and old cars.  Seungcheol walked around the front of the car and put his arm around Jeonghan's waist. "We don't need to make any decisions today, I just want you to look around."  He said softly while walking him to the building.  "Don't hesitate to look at any vehicle that interests you."  He instructed. Jeonghan nodded and went into the building with Seungcheol.  A woman in high heels and a blazer came to them with a smile and bow.  "Good morning, I'm Ahn Hyojin."  "I'm Choi Seungcheol,"  The man introduced with a bow. "Ah yes, I've prepared a tour for you and your husband."  She said, picking her notebook up. Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol with surprise.  "You sure like doing things behind my back."  He whispered as he linked their arms.  "Not in vain, Love."  He said, walking them to follow the woman. Jeonghan nodded and walked along, looking at the different vehicles the woman was talking about.  Many of them were small cars or small vans.  However, something in the distance captured Jeonghan's eye.  "I hate to stray from the tour,"  He started, earning the other two adults' attentions, "but we have a lot of kids.  Pretty soon they'll all need to go to school at once."  He said. "My point is,"  He turned back to Seungcheol, "I know these vehicles are small and affordable, but I can't drive five kids in a small car.  That and you know as well as I do we're not finished."  He said seriously. Seungcheol pursed his lips for a moment.  The woman cleared her throat.  "I can show you some of the bigger vehicles if you'd like, Mr. Yoon."  She said with a slight bow. "Yes, please."  He bowed back. She then started walking a different way rather than the small vehicle route, she went the larger vehicle path.  The vehicles in the building were just models and they had similar types in pictures or videos on the walls next to them.  Jeonghan took his arm out of Seungcheol's grasp as he strayed from the woman's tour. "Jeonghan?"  Seungcheol called out, watching the other walk off.  "I'm sorry, Mrs. Ahn.  Once he has his eyes on something.." "I understand.  Let's see what he wants."  She suggested.  "Afterall, this is just a tour of some recommended vehicles.  Not personally interested vehicles." Seungcheol nodded and followed after Jeonghan.  The younger walked up to what looked like a bus.  Jeonghan wasn't afraid to climb in and count the seats while feeling them. "This isn't a public transit,"  She started talking to Seungcheol, "it's labeled a bus, but really it's designed for an office of carpoolers or many children." Seungcheol nodded and watched the other come back out.  "Cheol, so many seats!"  He said in excitement.  "Three benches and two seats up front." "And there's an option for one more seat in the trunk portion."  Hyojin brought up.  "This model is sought after by many parents who have.."  She put her hands together, "stork babies." The parents make eye contact.  "That's some good news right there,"  Seungcheol laughed, "we're that type of family."  He said to the woman. She nodded and scratched her neck.  "Right.. there was a family who came in the other day, they opted for this model.  You're not the first to be drawn to it, Mr. Yoon."  She said respectfully. Jeonghan finally hopped out of the vehicle.  "Cheol?"  He raised his eyebrows with a smile. "Why.. don't you test drive it first?"  Hyojin offered, getting the keys out of the box and handing them to Jeonghan.  "There's a vehicle ready for it right outside this door." Jeonghan looked out the window and nodded.  "I'd like to."  He said, exiting the building.  Seungcheol watched Jeonghan turn the ignition on after putting his seat belt.  I've never seen him drive.  Seungcheol realized.  He watched Jeonghan expertly pull out of the parking space and drive away.  Only minutes later and he's back.  He backed the vehicle up perfectly and turned off the engine. Jeonghan came out and handed the keys back.  "Cheol.. I.."  He held Seungcheol's hands.  "Are you sure we should get a vehicle?"  He asked in a whisper. The woman bowed and went back into the building to give them some space to talk.  Seungcheol stroked Jeonghan's hair and smiled.  "The kids are growing up.  You have three ducklings to walk to school, and Wonwoo won't be too far from it.  Really he should have enrolled with the other two."  He chuckled. Jeonghan laughed and nodded.  "The school said they can accept him next month.."  He whispered. "Then you'll have four following you,"  Seungcheol said softly, "and before too long Woozi will grow up, and the future kids too.." Jeonghan nodded.  "But.. is this one affordable?"  He muttered. "Don't look at the price.  I've been working overtime for this.  In a few more months, I'll be back on a regular work schedule."  He said, rubbing up and down Jeonghan's back.   Jeonghan nodded and kissed Seungcheol softly.  "Are you sure this one?"  Seungcheol had to make sure.  The younger's reply was just a smile.  "Okay.  I'll handle the paperwork, but I want you to sign it too, okay?" "Cheol.. thank you.."  He whispered.  "Even after how I treated you-" "Shh,"  Seungcheol stopped him, "we're not going to talk about that."  He kissed Jeonghan's forehead.  "Go inside and play around.  I'll call you when it's time to sign." Jeonghan nodded and held onto Seungcheol's waist.  "I'm not leaving you.."  He muttered as his grip was far from being taken off. Seungcheol laughed and stroked Jeonghan's hair.  "Okay, come on.."  He walked the younger into the building. Jeonghan stays quiet while Seungcheol reads over all of the paperwork and chooses the payment plan.  Seungcheol casually looks at the younger male and smiles when something catches Jeonghan's eyes. The office they are in had walls made of glass.  Jeonghan was able to see things outside the office.  The thing that caught his attention was a man and woman with children surrounding them.  They all had cheerful smiles as they hugged a man that is clearly a worker for the dealership. Seungcheol looked at Jeonghan's smiling eyes and saw love in them.  "Hey,"  He started up, "it's your turn to sign."  He said softly. Jeonghan tore his gaze from the family and picked up the pen.  All he let himself look at was the date and Seungcheol's name.  He obeyed his husband and didn't look at the price that was nearby.  I just hope it wasn't too much.. Was Jeonghan's thought as he signed the document. He saw the price of the apartment.  He saw the price of the house and land.  He saw the price of the construction they've done on their house and the designs that Jeonghan put together.  However, he forced himself not to look just a little bit higher at the price of the vehicle.  I'll take care of it like a mansion.  He vowed. "Thank you so much for your purchase,"  Hyojin stood up and bowed, "here is the key.  We'll make a second key and send it to your residence within a week." Seungcheol smiled and took the copy of the form.  "Thank you,"  He bowed back and Jeonghan followed, "you get to drive her home."  He handed the key to Jeonghan. Jeonghan looked down at the key assembly and held it protectively.  "I'll do my best."  He said in a small voice. "I know you will,"  He kissed Jeonghan's temple, "let's go.  Josh is probably frantic over the formula.."  He said. Jeonghan raised an eyebrow.  "Why specifically the formula?"  He asked as they walked outside. Seungcheol took his phone out and handed it to Jeonghan.  "While you were test driving.. he texted saying that Woozi knocked over the whole formula container.."  He said. Jeonghan laughed.  "Woozi's off formula, I thought I told him that."  He read through the texts.  "Okay, we need to get home so that Woozi doesn't get too mad."  He insisted. "Temper tantrums?" "Definitely.  He's such a loving boy in some instances, other times he just hates contact."  He said, unlocking the van.  "But he's an angel I love, Cheol." Seungcheol nodded.  "I'll be right behind you, okay?"  He assured.  "Go on ahead."  Jeonghan smiled and nodded, turning the engine on and making sure his mirrors were proper.  He put his seat belt on and watched Seungcheol walk through the parking lot to get to his vehicle.  The sun bounced off the silver, making a memory instantly play through his mind.  He remembered when he was walking to work and that sun blinded him. Stop blinding me with that car..  Jeonghan chuckled and pressed his foot on the gas lightly after changing the gear to drive.  Just like Seungcheol promised, the older stayed close behind Jeonghan on the road.  Jeonghan opened the window and put on the radio.  Excitement filled his veins as he turned on a street.  He saw no cars around.  He pressed down on the gas a bit to speed up for the speed limit change, gripping the wheel tightly and letting the music make him feel powered. His speed evened out and he made sure Seungcheol was still behind him.  That felt great..  He thought as he watched the road.  Meanwhile, Seungcheol watched in amusement.  He's great.. I should of had him drive me to work every morning.  He thought as he copied Jeonghan's speed.  It didn't take long for them to get home and when they did, Joshua was running around the house.  Jeonghan parked and locked the van.  He waited for Joshua to come back around, however he saw Hoshi coming by first.  "Hoshi,"  His voice made the child stop.  And not too long later, Joshua came up behind them. "Hoshi, I said not to leave the house.."  The older pouted. Jeonghan went on one knee and held the boy's shoulders.  "One of these days, I'm going to be putting you in charge, Hoshi."  He said to the boy in a soft voice.  "And I'll expect you to make sure that your younger siblings don't get hurt." Hoshi looked at him before looking back at Joshua.  "Sorry.. Hyung.."  He said. Seungcheol came up to them and picked Joshua up.  "Oh, my boy's getting big."  He laughed as he let the child put his legs around his waist.  "It's time to go in and feed Woozi." "Daddy, he made a mess."  Joshua complained as they walked into the house.  Seungcheol looked around and saw that the walls were covered in lines from a marker.  He looked all round until he saw Woozi crawling with a marker in his mouth.  Jeonghan walked in and held his forehead.  "Good thing they're the new markers.. if they were like the ones we had at their age, they would never come off."  He said in a relieved tone. The adults take out some rags and begin cleaning the walls and the formula from the floor.  Making the afternoon turn to evening, they hear the doorbell.  Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol with a raised eyebrow.  "Are you expecting someone?"  They both said at the same time. Joshua put his text book down and walked to the door.  He climbed on the furniture there and reached to look out the peephole.  Seungcheol looked at the younger.  "Uhm, was that.. normal?"  Jeonghan shrugged.  "He gets creative sometimes."  He stood up and took his gloves off.  "Josh, that's dangerous.  Don't do that."  He picked the child off of the table. Jeonghan opened the door and looked around.  He hesitantly looked down at the mat.  Surprisingly, a baby is in a white basket lined with white blankets and a white pillow there.  His skin is darker but a mole was very defined on his cheek.  He bent down and picked the basket up, backing up and letting Joshua close the door for him.  Seungcheol dropped the rag he was holding in shock.  "J-jeonghan?"  He stood up properly from being at a wall. "Cheol.. we.. haven't.."  Jeonghan's heart rate went up as many things must have crossed their minds. Is this from before Woozi?  Was one of the things.  Seungcheol took his gloves off and walked to the couch where Joshua, Jun, and Hoshi gathered.  Wonwoo was on the floor watching and Woozi was somewhere. Jeonghan took the letter and slowly opened it.  He looked at Seungcheol who nodded slowly before looking down at the child. "Dear Parents,   Made with the purest love for each other, Lee Seokmin was sent by a dove to cure your love.  Be careful with your emotions and continue to love each other.  He answers best to DK or Dokyeom."  Seungcheol looked down at the smiling baby, watching those eyes wander around Seungcheol's face.  "We need more formula.."  He said as he took the child out of the basket. Suddenly, Woozi crawled his way from under the coffee table to look up at Seokmin.  The child's small eyes widen a bit and his mouth opens in aw.  He reached for the child in Seungcheol's hands. "You.. want to see him?"  Seungcheol asked, watching Woozi's expecting gaze. Seungcheol looked at Jeonghan who shrugged, not knowing what's up.  Seungcheol stood up and sat down on the floor, laying Seokmin down on the floor.  Woozi was then quick to put his arms around the younger, putting his face into Seokmin's side. The parents look at each other.  "Dove baby?"  Jeonghan whispered as he looked at the letter once more.  "I'm going to have to ask Moonbyul what that's all about.."  He thought aloud. Joshua watched with a pouted lip as Woozi tried getting even closer to the new child.

Jeonghan now has a big vehicle for his kids.

Driving to school in style is good ;)

And now we have Dokyeommie!  Woozi seems to have an attraction toward him.
