Joohyun arrived at a castle on an island. Not a soul seemed to inhabit the castle. “Hello, Madam Joohyun.” A voice said as they bowed at her, “What can we do for you?” Joohyun looked at the said person, “Call for a meeting, immediately.” The person disappeared as Joohyun entered the castle and took a seat on the throne. She was livid, she could not wait to see what they had to say. Within an hour, the room was full of nobles of all age groups. Joohyun observed them as they looked at her with such fear. She would definitely make them feel fear. Suho appeared at the front of the crowd and bowed to her, “What did you call us all hear for, Madam?” Joohyun smiled at them, she was going to put on a show by lying through her teeth. “I found a new mate, I thought I should inform you all. She will be carrying my child soon.” Whispers erupted in the crowds of people. Suho visibly shuddered, “What about Sooyoung, have you found her? Or are you just forgetting your parents’ wishes?” Joohyun growled, “I think that’s a question I should be asking you, Suho. Do you know what happened to her? Or do I have to force the answer out of all of you? Do you think I have forgotten your fear of me? Should I show you what fear is?” The room started to shake as Joohyun’s anger started to rise. Before anyone could speak, a group of nobles turned to ashes. Panic started to arise. A weak looking noble got on his knees in front of her, “I was under orders to kidnap her and suppress her pureblood.” Joohyun growled, “And who ordered you to do that, Luhan?” Luhan noticeably gulped, unsure of what to say. “If you tell me, I will protect your life. So, tell me!” she growled. “I-i-it was Suho.” Luhan gasped out in a hushed voice. Before anyone could react, Joohyun had Suho by his throat, lifted into the air. “I should have expected it was you. Now tell me how do I turn her back?” Suho struggled in her grasp as she slightly let go to let him speak, “Bite her, she’ll turn back. We were hoping you wouldn’t find her, that’s why we gave her to the hunters.” Joohyun threw him across the room, “If you are lying to me, I will come back and annihilate you all. I will let you live, for now, Suho.” Joohyun walked through the crowd of stunned nobles, some even bowing to her as she left. When she got outside, she saw Seulgi with Joy and Wendy. “I’m sorry she wouldn’t leave me alone and I can’t hurt her. I didn’t know what to do. I’m sorry, Joohyun.” “I made her do it, unnie. I had to see you.” Joy said in a soothing tone. Joohyun immediately calmed. “Come, let’s get out of here before they smell you two.” Joohyun took Joy by the waist and disappeared into the night with Seulgi and Wendy in tow. They arrived back at Joohyun’s mansion before Joy could even say a word. “Unnie, I had another nightmare. Suho was in it. I was so scared, you were nowhere to be found.” Joy seemed distraught. Joohyun embraced her, “Do you want these nightmares to go away, dear?” Joy nodded her head feverously, she wanted nothing more. Joohyun pushed Joy’s hear back and pierced the girl’s neck with her canines. Joy immediately tensed upon the contact. Suddenly, her head was filled with all these memories. Memories of her and Joohyun. Her body felt like it was on fire. She tried to push Joohyun away to no avail. She felt herself digging her nails into Joohyun’s back, as she felt herself start to lose consciousness. Joohyun held onto the girl as she drifted out. Joohyun picked her up and took her to rest in her room. When Joy awoke, she felt an incredible thirst. Her throat was parched beyond belief. She looked around the room to see Joohyun there. As soon as she met her gaze, her throat clenched. Joohyun got up and crawled over to the girl, “It’s okay, drink.” She bared her throat at the thirsty girl. Joy didn’t need to be told twice, she immediately sunk her canines into Joohyun’s throat. Joohyun wrapped her arms around the girl as she drank, humming a soft tune. Joy stopped and looked at Joohyun, she felt her world crash. It had been so long since she’d seen her, she was so glad to see her again. The look in Joohyun’s eyes made her feel so weak. Her body trembled, and she immediately wrapped her arms and straddled the older girl, locking their lips. The room was filled with so much emotion in the air. Joohyun reached out to brush some of Sooyoung’s hair out of her face, “How are you feeling, dear?” Joohyun’s words were soft yet filled with so much emotion. “Unnie…” Sooyoung was feeling so much, almost too much. She was overwhelmed, tears were brimming her eyes. “Shh, dear. We can stay like this as long as you’d like.” Joohyun’s voice low but soothing. She had to be strong, Sooyoung had been through so much. She didn’t even know the half of it. Sooyoung rested her head on Joohyun’s shoulder as the elder stroked her hair, trying to calm her. Time stood still as the two melted into each other’s embrace. Joohyun comfortingly stroked the younger’s hair as she trembled in her embrace. Joohyun could feel how distraught she was. Although she was beyond ecstatic to see the younger, it broke her heart to see her in such a state. As she held her lover, her mind wandered to the nobles who did this to her. Her anger started to rise as she thought about them torturing her beloved. She would go and kill them, not even a speck of their ashes would be left. Sooyoung reached out and caressed her face, “We’ll go together, relax. I’m here now.” Joohyun didn’t even notice that her anger was filling the room. Immediately upon Sooyoung’s touch, she calmed, looking into those chocolate eyes she had missed and would kill for.
