Whirlwind (1/1)
LUNA Baekhyun stayed on my mind for the next couple of days and it wasn't good. I should be thinking about my boyfriend. My sweet, polite, smart and perfect Chanyeol. He would always be waiting for me every morning in my front porch, if not in front of my locker in school. Instead of asking me about the full details, he would just be there for me holding my hand and giving me sweet kisses every now and then. He's obviously too good for me so I really don't understand why a disgusting human like Baekhyun would be stuck in my head. One time while I fixed myself in the bathroom before going to my next class, a familiar girl walked in and smiled at me as she set herself and sat on the counter."Can I help you?" I asked. I couldn't remember who she was..or at least I was trying not to--Shit. It's Krystal."Hey eonnie.""I almost forgot who you were." I said, almost to myself. I'm too embarrassed to face her right now. I don't know what the hell she's going to say to me."I need to tell you something." She said, as she pulled out a pocket mirror and dabbed her lips with lip tint. "I want to thank you."Uhh..."What did I do?""Baekhyun oppa...he's...he's been trying to spend more time with me than he did before. It's really nice. I mean, I was fine before. I've accepted the way he was, you know. With all the girls and the parties and the flings. But he's changed and...it's nice. And I think it's because of you. So thank you."Krystal fixed her stuff then jumped off the counter and left. She didn't even give me a chance to talk. That didn't end there. BAEKHYUN Lit class took forever to end, and I should have been careful to wish for that because I didn't like how it ended.A few cheerleaders in our class approached my desk. The girl who seemed to be their leader sat on my desk with her legs crossed."Hey Baekkie! Got any plans for prom?" The leader of the pack asked flirtaciously. I'm not buying it."Why do you ask?" I lamely answered. I'm seriously not in the mood. I've been like the walking dead since--"Oh you know..just wondering maybe we could go together and you know maybe after the prom we could go to your place and..you know?"No, I don't."Sorry, miss. I don't think so.""Excuse me?" She asked, rather shocked at my reply. Hmm.."I'm not interested and I'm not going to prom. Sorry."She scoffed and walked out of the classroom with her little posse consoling her. As I watched them go, my eyes caught a glimpse of Luna's reaction to the scene. She seemed to be packing her stuff and stopped to watch the commotion. Her eyes were filled with disbelief as she slowly shook her head. She finally saw me looking. I don't know what's going to happen next so I gave her a small and sincere smile. She just looked at me with a straight face then proceeded to packing.I know I'm gonna need to do things the right way if I need to get back in Luna's good graces.I ripped a piece of notebook paper and wrote a small note. LUNA The classroom slowly emptied. I needed to hurry packing my stuff or else I might be late for my next class and I hate how Baekhyun is not helping me at all by distracting me.He finally got up to his seat and headed for the door, walking past my desk. A piece of paper fell from his grasp."Baekhyun wait! You dropped someth--"I picked up the folded piece of paper. My name was written on it so I guess he dropped it on purpose. After contemplating for seconds, I finally caved in and unfolded it. My lips parted at the one sentence written on the paper. Girls may be chasing after me but I'm running after you.
