LUNA "Hey Loo, so Vic and I are thinking about hitting Cherry Lace after class. You in?" Sulli chimed as I packed my bags and got ready for school. I'm glad she didn't bug me last night for being late. I could have made some kind of excuse to cover up for my developing friendship with the school's official scumwhore."No can do, man." I groaned."Whyyyy?" whined Victoria who just came out of the shower.Now I gotta make up an excuse for that."I just don't feel like going out." That is the truth. Well....half-truth. I've really been sick of going to Cherry Lace, sipping on cherry coke float alone while I watch my friends wipe and shake their asses on the dance floor while they get ogled by teenage boys with raging hormones. Ugh."You know, I don't if it's just me but you've been going home early. The only time we get to hang out with you is during lunch." Sulli declared."Yeah. What's up with that, Looloo?" Victoria added."Yeah. Where have you been and what have you been doing?"Shit. I guess I need to tell them."I've been home. I've been looking after Dad. Mom filed a divorce.""WHAT?!" They exclaimed in chorus."Oh my God, Luna!" Sulli hugged me. Victoria became teary eyed and hugged me tighter."Oh Looneeeeyy," Victoria cried, "when did this happen?""Two weks ago," I murmured."TWO WEEKS AGO?!" They exclaimed in chorus again. They really have to stop doing that."Luna, why didn't you tell us?" Sulli asked."No wonder you've been spacing out a lot." Wow Victoria noticed that."Yeah, one time I saw you staring blankly at Baekhyun during Lit class. I was starting to think you're ogling on him. Guess I was wrong."Well fuck. How about that?"It's...it's nothing now. Dad didn't take it well at first. He has started drinking and it scares the shit out of me. Like I'm the onw who has to be the adult now." I said while I finally finished packing."Oh man! Geez Luna. We could have totally get you not hanging out with us. Oh Luna. Are you okay now?"This is why I hate telling these two about my problems. They really tend to overreact. It's now out in the open wheee! There it goes!"Yeah, I'm fine.""I hate those three words especially coming out from you," Sulli snapped. "You have a tendency to lie every time you say you're fine.""Geez Sulli. I mean it!""Okay, okay Loo." Sulli said hugging me one last time. "Hey Vic, got your stuff ready? Don't let our driver get grumpy."Victoria giggled then followed us downstairs, "I don't want driver Looloo to get grumpy. So if you're not going with us, what are your plans?"Shit part 2. Well let's see. I'm crashing Baekhyun's house after class, might play more video games and have more sex. Yeah that's about it."Come on, Victoria. Stop bugging Luna and and get your ass in the car. She's gonna look after her dad until he gets better."Whew! Saved by the bell.  BAEKHYUN Kai called in sick today in school. My dilemma now is...WHO AM I GOING TO SIT WITH AT LUNCH?Or should I even eat lunch at all? Damn, the hall monitor might catch me if I lurk around the building instead of eating in the cafeteria. I can only imagine going through the aisles of tables and every girl asking me to sit with them.That's exactly what happened when I finally decided to have lunch. I have no other choice. I forced a smile on the girls and graciously turned down their offer. Can I just eat my lunch in peace?Towards the corner of the room, a familiar table of the nicest cheer leaders with their captain Sulli, is found. Beside her is Victoria and sitting on the other side of the table is Luna. I took a deep breath and went for their table. Here goes nothing.The chatter on their table stopped as I stood in front of them."Hi," I said to all of them with my tray of food in my hands."Hi Baekhyun oppa!" The younger cheer leaders greeted. I smiled at them and sligtly bowed my head. Victoria flashed her usual bright smile and Sulli winked at me but not in a flirty way. More like a "sup bro" wink. I grinned at her then looked over at Luna who has her eyebrows furled."What are you doing here?" She asked. I can tell she's holding some kind of resentment inside her. Hmmm. She must be in a bad mood. Then again, she always is. Ha!"My best friend has called in sick today. May I sit with you ladies?""OMG oppa wants to sit with us!""Omigosh Baek, sure! Come sit with us." Victoria said."You're always welcome here, Baekhyun." Sulli added.I see Luna mouth "no" towards Sulli but she just ignored. I sat beside her and smiled, not grinned."What are you doing here, Baek?" Luna whispered, "I'm sure there are a lot of girls who would die to be on this table.""Am I not allowed to have lunch with my new found friend?""You guys are friends?!" Sulli exclaimed.Oh shit. I forgot we were whispering. Now Luna's glaring at me."No we're not," Luna hissed."Aww Luna. Don't be like this," I said putting an arm around her shoulder. She squirmed, trying to get out of my reach. Sulli and Victoria laughed."You guys act like an old couple," Sulli teased."Omigosh. You guys look cute together. How come you haven't told us about Baek, huh?" Victoria winked at Luna."Girls, girls, girls," I said trying to calm them down. I have a feeling Luna might explode in a few minutes. "I'm sure she didn't tell you about our friendship because she didn't want to be talked about.""Ohhhh," they all said in chorus."Uhhhhh," Luna groaned. That's my girl."Luna...Omigosh you're blushing!" Victoria pointed out. Luna's eyes widened."I'm not!""You so are," Victoria said as she held out a small mirror in front of Luna. Luna dropped her spoon and fork then covered her face."I hate you, Byun Baekhyun," she said, muffled behind her palms."Ahhh," I sighed, "it's so nice to eat lunch with my girl best friend.""Awwwww," said all the girls.God I love torturing Luna.They say a guy is said to have a crush on a girl he often picks on.Mmhmm. I hope she gets the hint. Oh Luna!
