Kim Jongin loves his Grandma Kim to pieces, but just cant get over the fact that her farm has no internet and the cellular reception is spotty at best. Left with no other options, he turns to his old companion, Harvest Moon, to get him through a week on the farm. ForewordIt has been almost a full year since Kim Jongin’s family has visited his grandparents’ farm. When he was younger, they used to visit once a month, which turned into once a quarter, then once a semester…until things started getting so busy that it is now almost a year later and Jongin is finally packing his suitcase for a week of fresh air during the Chuseok holiday. For the other holidays in between, his grandparents had opted to travel in to the city. To be honest, there is a lot that Jongin has missed about visiting the farm; the refreshing quietness, the animals, the general home-y atmosphere. Especially now that Jongin is a Senior in high school and is feeling the stress and pressure of preparing for the college entrance exam and university auditions on top of his regularly scheduled classes, he could really use a break to get away.Generally speaking, Jongin really loves being at the Kim farm except for two things.“Now remember, sweetie, Grandma doesn’t have internet at the farm and cell phone service is spotty, so you should really bring something to keep yourself entertained,” Jongin’s mom reminds him at the dinner table a week before departure.
