Betwixt and Between
Tzuyu absolutely hates taking risks. Or anything to do with an uncertain result. However, when she does take what might be the biggest risk she has ever taken in her life, she feels she may not regret it as much as she thought she would. From a mere stranger to an acquaintance to a friend to her best friend, Jungkook makes Tzuyus life unusually interesting, never sparing a day to make her full of the kind of joy she never thought shed feel 8000 miles away from where she called home. Meeting new people and making new memories along the way, the duo form the kind of bond seemed to be unbreakable no matter what. However, as the human mind works in a strange way, how would Jungkooks constant attempts of building something new between them work with an oblivious Tzuyu? ForewordIve always been perplexed by the concept of romantic relationships and commitment. I dont mind people being in relationships, of course, but I just dont see myself being in one. I like things that have a definite outcome and minimal amount of risk. Relationships? Oh, theyre far from that. The problem is though, from where I come from, marriage, which is widely accepted as the pinnacle of all romantic relationships, is not even an option. Its a necessity. So I guess Ill have to face that whole procedure, however I cant really picture what would happen with my significant other before I deliver that anticipated "Yes, I do". Its something I try not to think about too much. The fact that people chase after love also greatly bothers me. Now that its just a week away from Christmas, everyones just like "I wanna get kissed under the mistletoe!" or "I wish I find my soulmate on New Years Eve!" or something of the sort. All of that is just a bit too cheesy and forced for my liking. I believe that love would somehow find a way, whether you like it or not. Theres no "perfect time" or "perfect moment". Itll just come by when you least expect it to. I look down at the ground and smile to myself. Wow, my thoughts seem to have a mind of their own today.
