She is a doctor who just finished her 2 years of residency and now getting ready to start her job in Seoul Hospital. She has also decided to move out from the house by the lake where she had lived for the past 3 years. Before she left the house, she had wrote a letter to the new tenant, to forward any letters that belongs to her to the address that she had stated. The letter, she had left inside the metal letter-box.She had last been happy ever since the death of her father, 5 years ago. And to make matter much worse, she had lost her favourite book titled Persuasion by Jane Austen, a gift from her father, that she had cherished so much. Since then, she tries to be happy but nothing could beat the depression of loosing her father in his battled with cancer. All she could do is to fulfil his dream of her becoming a doctor one day.After a car accident that she had witnessed with the victim died in her arm, she decided to visit the house by the lake once again. Inside of the metal letter-box, she had found a letter with her name written on the envelope.This is where it all started... ♥♥♥ The Lake House ♥♥♥"Something must have happen to me that I did not turn up. Please Jieun. Dont stop writing to me. Dont give up on us...!!" ~ Kwon Jiyong.Kwon Jiyong. After years of travelling the world, a decision he took a day after he buried his beloved mother, he had finally return home to Seoul. He return to the house by the lake that had been built by his architect father for his bride. When he had moved in to the house by the lake, he found a letter inside of the metal letter-box. The letter address to the new tenant when he knows by heart that the house has never been put up for renting. The house by the lake, has always been in his family property and it has remains as so when he had his lawyer to check the house status.He read the letter. The so-call previous tenant stated about a paw print that she could not able to get rid off on the walkway that lead to the house, but when he goes to investigate it, there is none. He wonder for days and during one afternoon when he decided to paint the walls of the walkway , out of nowhere, a mutt dog comes running onto the canvas of paint and to the house by the lake, leaving the paw print that has been stated in the letter.He decided to reply to the so-called previous tenant.This is where it all started... ♥♥♥ The Lake House ♥♥♥Others: ~"That blueprint drawing had been drawn by my brother Jiyong who had died on this day 2 years ago..." ~ HanbinKim Hanbin. Jiyong adopted brother who is 2 years younger than him. He is an architect, just like his adopted father and brother. Together with Jiyong, both of them had set-up their own interior design company called Visionary Vanguard. He has always look up to Jiyong and did not resent him a bit when the latter had left him to deal with his eccentric father. He finds it fascinating with his brother love affair with Jieun, whom he lovingly called her the girl from the future."So who is it did you write to? I couldnt help everytime during your break I saw you writing something."~ HaraGoo Hara. A fellow colleague of Jieun who becomes fast friend with her. She always wonder of Jieun social life beside her work in the hospital. Because there are times that she caught Jieun who seems sad and depress, whenever she is not writing on her journal that she had carried wherever she goes. To cheer her up, Hara always invited her to drinking session after work. And whenever Jieun had the needs to share with her about Jiyong, she is there to listen to her."I didnt do this right. It seems like no big deal. Im hoping that after coffee, it could turn to dinner and us back together. Ill admit that I always a few steps ahead of myself..."~ Woo BinKim Woo Bin. He once dated Jieun for 3 years. He would do everything for Jieun just so to make her happy. He even willing to marry her after she finished her residency but Jieun had ended their relationship.
