In my twenty-four years of life, I’ve had a reasonable quantity of boyfriends. Each of them, I loved with all my heart, until it was over. But, one day, I met her. Kim Taeyeon was the first female to make me feel different, in such an awesome way. She would usually cause me those butterflies on the stomach, whenever she looked at me; her smile would light up myself as the day sun lights up a day, never letting the darkness get inside of me; and, the most important, she had this power of making me extremely happy. For my luck, Taeyeon felt the same way. She confessed firstly, when we went on our SMTOWN tour, in 2012. Because of an electricity problem, we got locked on the same lift for five hours, just the two of us. I remember how tears came down her eyes while she exposed her feelings in front of me and how they were wiped away when our lips touched each other’s. That sensation was new, completely different of what I had ever experienced before. And, since that day, I knew that I wouldn’t be the same anymore. In the begin of 2013, she asked me to be officially hers. Of course I accepted, and I couldn’t be happier; but nothing is all this beautiful. We have a group, very famous in Asia, So Nyeo Shi Dae, and, even if we have a lot of fans, we also have haters. The relationship between two women would cause a lot of judgment by those people. That’s the reason why our boss, Lee Sooman, asked us to keep it in secret. But love can’t be hide. The interactions between me and Taeyeon became stronger, especially because they had different meanings. For my joy, we started being shipped, in a couple named ‘TaeNy’, and it made me really, really glad. The approbation gives us support and strength to keep going, day by day. Actually, we are still together. One thing that always annoys me is the fact that a lot of people usually see a relationship between two women as something vulgar; and it’s pure bullshit. I am not a lesbian.
