Beings that contain something named Spirit Energy, this energy is merged with these beings cores giving them supernatural forms which later led to the birth of these campfire spooks.But these beings are real.Masked and hidden in the shadows, only seen when they want to be seen, only heard when they are meant to be listened to, and felt only when they want to touch the mortals of the human realm.  Since the human domination the earth, they have been kept purposefully out of touch and excluded to unattached shadows in alleys, shivers at night and the unsolved disappearances of humans that plague the living.  For thousands of years, those touched with the Spirit Energy let the humans live in the oblivion, only emerging to feed and restore their Spirit Energy. However, finally, in the late 20th Century these shadow dwellers became discontent, and ready to claim their world as theirs once more.  Overpowered, the humans lost their monopoly over the earths surface and their great reign fell to an end. Some surrendered, some rebelled, and some looked to exterminate these Shadow Dwellers from the earth for good. In 2170, the humans regrouped and organized, and took to advantage their larger numbers and rebelled against their dark, unseen neighbors, determined not to become the prey of the dark forces. One human, President Kim Jae Chan, took these plans to action and publicly began plotting to overthrow them in a mass genocide. Outraged by this news, the World Council proclaimed that these beings be eliminated and wiped off the face of the earth, destroying their existence entirely. Some council members were highly against such murder, claiming that these actions would not make them any better than the shadow dwellers. Cornered by such words, the council then decreed that they be banished. Driven from the cities of men, ran out and destined to live a life of exile; back into the shadows whence they came.Now in the year 2183, a highly developed human universe lives with the fading memory of the shadow dwellers beneath their city. Erased from history and text books in hopes of forgetting, most humans recovered their delicate ignorance and soon jumped to assume that the shadow dwellers had fallen extinct… …Little did they know that the Sprit Energy regenerated and thrived in the shadows of world, strengthening and rebuilding a stronger, angrier creed.While these two forces of man and shadow are kept apart for now, the suspicions, tensions and bloodlust of both sides grows daily.
