Chapter One“What?” I said, “A blind date?”Apparently, my so-called-best friend had insisted that I should go on a blind date. She knew that I don’t do that kind of stuff yet she had arranged the date without my consent. I mean, what kind of a friend is she? I completely disagree with ‘blind date’. Why do you have to meet people who you didn’t know about, and go out with them? That is stupid.“Please go to the blind date for my sake, Ai,” she pleaded, “I’m going to get married soon and I want you to have a boyfriend so you won’t feel lonely when I’m not around with my boyfriend.”That is another reason why Yui wanted me to go to the stupid date. I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my cola, “You’re not getting married, you’re getting engaged.”Yui laughed nervously, flipping her air with her hand, “But Ai, I’m your best friend and I love you,” she paused, “please do this for me.” She gave me her puppy look as I tried to look anywhere but her eyes. Darn, I hate it when she used that method, she’ll get anything she wants with her puppy look, “It’s okay if you don’t want to… I mean, I understand-”“Fine, okay, I’ll do it!” I grumbled, this friend of my mine, she knows my weakness.Her eyes lit up and she squealed, “I knew you were my BFF!”“So who’s this guy you set me up with?” I asked, curious of his being. What if he’s a murderer, or a rapist? My friend can’t be that stupid right?“Hm, he’s my cousin,” she started, “all I could say is that he’s cool, handsome and one of the K-pop idols.” And she grinned. GRINNED, as if it was nothing.I spat out my coke in a fountain and she looked at me disgusted, “Are you crazy?!” I asked in a hushed whisper, afraid that someone will hear us, though I doubt that anyone will because we’re seated in the corner, at the back of the restaurant.“I’m not,” Yui held up a ‘peace’ sign, “He’s like a brother to me and we’re pretty close too.”“Why do I feel like you haven’t said everything?”“Oh the big surprise comes now,” she inhaled, I’m pretty worried about this ‘big surprise’ knowing nothing is normal when it comes to my Yui “He’s a member of EXO.”“Yui you’re crazy,” I breathed out.“And you’ve met him before,” she grinned, showing her perfectly straight teeth.“I did?”“Yeah, he’s one of the kingkas in our school,” Yui smiled, taking a bite from her cake.That’s it, my friend, Yui, is crazy because she set me up with an EXO member who’s a kingka in our school, great, now I can’t escape, “But there’s 12 members in EXO! Which one am I supposed to date?!”And my best friend just smiled at me.
