Lu Zhen knew what she wanted to say. After all, what she had just done was out of character. She rarely talked to strangers.

After a night’s rest, the next day was the press conference. Lu Zhen received a call from Wu Yu early in the morning. On the phone, Wu Yu repeatedly reminded Lu Zhen to explain that the audio that had been released previously was fake and that her sister was very close to her. In the end, she would take more photos with Lu Rou in front of the reporters to show how close they were.

After the call was hung up, Sun Xiao was furious. “I’ve never met anyone so shameless!”

After putting on makeup and a custom-made gown, Lu Zhen rushed to the press conference with Sun Xiao. Many reporters had already arrived at the press conference. When they saw Lu Zhen, they immediately took pictures with their cameras.

After the press conference was over, Lu Zhen walked onto the stage and adjusted the microphone herself. Then, she smiled at the reporters below.

The media questions came one after another, none of them easy to answer. Lu Zhen didn’t answer the questions directly. She just smiled faintly, her eyes filled with sadness and helplessness.

Today, Lu Zhen wore a light blue gown and very plain makeup. Even her lipstick was very light, which made her look innocent and fragile. It was as if she was very sad and tired because of recent events.
