On a normal school day, Kai was having lunch with his friends. They were talking and laughing about variousthings.Kai was also enjoying the talk with friends until his friends got quiet and started looking at certain direction. Kai lookedup and saw Nana going to a table to have her lunch. As he felt an awkward tension around his friends, his smile frozeon his face and he looked at his friends like asking why the hell they are looking at her weirdly. Minzy broke the silence: M:”Did something happen between you, Jongin?” All the eyes turned to Kai’s direction.K:”No, nothing happened. Why?” Even though he asked why, he already know what she meant by that question. The thing is that Nana was acting really weirdin these days and she was looking really depressed. Kai was getting irritated by her  behavior, but he remained silent about itsince he does not really care what happened to her. However, she was not acting like a girlfriend as she should do and she wasconstantly avoiding him. It is not like he was not glad about it. But people started gossiping about that their relationship is about tobreak and some of his fan girls were already celebrating about it. Yes, he was getting irritated since she was not doing her roleproperly and misleading people to think that they had some argument or fight. M:”I don’t know, you seem distant, it has been a while I have seen you guys together”K:”You know I am not the type who would stick around his girlfriend and the same goes for her too”M:”Yeah I know, but something is off, I don’t know but it looks like something really happened. And she seems really down inthese days. I asked her but she told me that she is just stressed about studying. It was not really a convincing answer.”K:”No, she has been feeling stressful about studies, that’s all” he said with a carefree tone.Krystal:”I agree with Minzy, she seems down and pale” she stated her idea.Chanyeol also spoke after hearing his girlfriend’s statement.C:”So are we supposed to care? Let them do whatever they want. Lets not speak about her. If they had fight, then it is wonderful.They have never seem like a real couple in the first place.” Some of them nodded in agreement. Kai got quite taken aback but he kept his face still. Chanyeol was always suspicious abouttheir relationship and never acknowledged it but the others were convinced about it. Seeing them agreeing with Chanyeol, hestarted to think that their relationship was getting really suspicious in people’s eyes. After hearing one more statement fromone of them, Kai thought something needs to be done. -“Don’t get angry with me Kai, but there are a lot of things missing in your relationship. You guys holding hands and walkingaround talking but that doesnot seem natural. I am not meaning something disrespectful to you but she seems fake so everythingseems fake. You know, we sometimes talking about you and that girl and we discovered something. We have never seen you guysbeing affectionate with each other like you know, hugging or kissing” He glared at him coldly at first making him looking down in embarrassment. Then, he found them right in a way. He would think thesame if he were them. (Actually he would never think about other people's relationships) K:”We are not supposed to kiss in front of everyone right? You guys haven’t witnessed it yet doesnot mean that we are not beingaffectionate. Ask Sehun, she comes to our room or I go to her room, we like to keep things to ourselves, do things in private”M:”Does kissing need some privacy, I mean it’s just kissing” She did not have to complete her sentence by saying she really wantsto see them kissing since everybody knows that she is shipping hard at this couple.  She continued. “Go to her, Jongin. Look at her;she is not even joining in her friends’ conversation. She looks down.”Krystal:”Yeah, maybe she needs you. Go and join her. She will cheer up after seeing you, I am sure” She made thumps up signad smiled at Kai. *Yeah, I am sure she would cheer up, God they don’t know anything. She would be more troubled by me being near to her. ButI don’t have any choice, do I? I don’t really care if she get troubled or not. Actually it can be amazing to see her reaction after thething I would do to her*K:”Yeah, you are right, I should go to her and have some time with her. Apparently she needs me” He smirked at his friends and started walking towards Nana’s table. Nana, on the other hand, was not giving any attention to hersurroundings so she did not see Kai until he sat beside her. She got surprised a bit seeing him sitting beside her with an almostcaring smile plastered on his face. Her friends also got surprised but they did not utter any word. Kai put his arm around hershoulders and pulled her close to him. He knew that his friends was watching them so he acted carefully to fulfill their expectationabout how a real couple should be. K:”How is my girlfriend doing?” He kissed her cheek and looked directly at her eyes with. Nana was starting to get irritated about hisactions but she did not show anything to outside since she knew that everyone’s eyes turned to their direction. She was not reallyin the mood to play along but she had no other choice so she tried her best to respond him with a smile.N:”I am doing fine. What about you?” She did not think anything original to ask to him and she understood he was not satisfied withthe act she was putting on at that moment.*So you are not even trying to act, huh? just wait and see!*  he thought.K:”I wasn’t doing fine, you know, I did not see you since the morning and I kinda missed you” he gave her a sheepish smile thatshe has never seen. She got afraid for the first time from his acting; his behavior was really different from the previous times andshe felt something was strange about him, something must be forcing him. He was still talking but her attention was on hisbehaviors not on his words. She couldnot hear him out well and that resulted something she never expected. She only heard hiswhispering some words to her ear. She could only understood what he meant by his words ‘Don’t act surprised with what I amabout to do’ when she felt his lips pressing on her lips. He was moving his lips on hers and he got some time to finish his businessthere. She couldnot even think about anything at that moment nor could she responded in some way to his sudden kiss.
