The Beginning-Chapter 10 (1/1)

Seoul Hospital “Dr. Oh Sehun, here is your patient file that you’re asking about” said a nurse to the man who sit behind the table on the doctor’s room. “Okay thank you, I’ll read it first then I’ll visit his room,” said Sehun. Dr. Oh Sehun is the most famous nerves doctor in South Korea. He’s well known for amazing skill in medication inspite his young age. He often travels around the world to study more or asked by other related doctor to help them handle a medical case. Fortunately he’s in Seoul now and he’s asked by a wealthy family to help them recover the son’s health. Dr. Oh Sehun opens the file and find a name and also a face of his new patient, Luhan. ‘He looks so beautiful in this photo, I wonder if in reality he is more beatiful than this. Aish, what i’m thinking about? I shouldn’t think something if it isn’t related to medical things.’ Sehun said to himself. After learned his patient case, he starts walking to Luhan’s room, to visit him for the first time. When he opens the door and walks inside, he finds no one except a really beautiful boy on a hospital bed. Luhan is in a sitting position, watching outside of the window with wide smile on his face. The sun rays who bright the room, light his figure, makes him look like a pure angel. Sehun couldn’t say a word, nor he could move. He can’t stop staring a beauty in front of his eyes. When Luhan turns his head to the front door and said something, that snaps Sehun back to reality. “Well excuse me, are you my doctor?” Luhan asks him. “Oh.. well.. yes, I am.” Sehun stutters. “Good morning doctor, I am Luhan. Of course you’ve already know my name hehe... What’s your name doctor? You look really young,” “Morning too..Mm.. my name is Sehun. Yes, I’ve already know your name from my patient file. And yes I’m still young, in fact I’m younger than you...” Sehun keeps reply nervously. It looks like he totally forgets who he and Luhan are, and what he supposed to do here. “Nice to meet you Dr. Sehun.” Luhan replies with a big smile and sparkling eyes and it shots Sehun right on his heart ‘What’s this tingling feeling inside me?’ Sehun asks to himself. Then Sehun comes closer to him and sit on the chair beside his bed “Nice to meet you too, Luhan ssi. You can call me informally, because as you know I’m younger than you.” “Okay, i will call you Sehun-ah then! But you should call me informally too, you can call me Luhan hyung ,alright?” Luhan says cheerfully. “Okay then,” Sehun smiles,” Are you alone here? Where’s your family?” “Oh i’m not alone. Actually, my family left just now for taking breakfast, while my fiance already start working today.” Hearing what Luhan said, makes something definitely hurt inside Sehun. ‘Fiance? So he already engaged? What is this feeling? Why I feel something hurt inside?’ “So Sehun, you come here to tell me about my condition right? Please tell, I can’t wait anymore,” Luhan says. “Well Luhan, I’ve read your case. It’s a pretty difficult case actually, but I will help you as much as I can for your recovery. I believe there’s a chance for you to recover fully like you used to be. But you have to listen to all my word, and do every treatment I told you to do. Maybe in the first process, you should stay in the hospital, but later when you’re better, you can stay at home and come to the hospital when you need your treatment.” “So you tell me you can make me recover fully? Are you serious? Thank you Sehun, thank you! You’re the best doctor ever!” Luhan hugs Sehun without he even realizes it because he’s too happy to think. Sehun suprises but he couldn’t say a word because he loves being hugged by Luhan, even they just met. “Oh my god I’m sorry I hug you like that, I’m too happy, I’m sorry Sehun,” Luhan blushes and it gives warm feeling inside Sehun “No it’s fine. I will do my best to help you” “I want to recover as soon as possible because I want to get married. Because of me, we should postpone our marriage for waiting my recover. I don’t want to make everyone’s wait, specially my fiance, so I must healed immediately. I will follow all your instruction Sehun,” Luhan says. Hearing about luhan’s marriage crushes something inside Sehun. He wonders why he feels so dissapointed everytime Luhan mentioned anything related about his fiance or marriage. For God sake, he only met Luhan today, then why he has this feeling now? “Of course, I will help you, and congratulation for your engagement.” Sehun says half heartedly. “Thank you doctor! Oh my God, i must be disturbing you from your job! I’m sorry i told you something like this. By now you probably should go to take care other patient, right?” “No, it’s fine, you’re not disturbing me. Actually you’re my only patient here because your family ask me personally to help you. And luckily I am in Seoul when they ask me. I’m not in a rush to visit anyone or do something,” Sehun says. Actually he still have lots to do, like meeting with other doctor, preparing presentation for some medical event. But his heart told him to stay here for a little bit, he doesn’t want leave Luhan. “Really? Well I’m glad to hear that. I’m happy to have doctor like you, you’re so kind. Would you like to be my friend beside being my doctor? I know my family are still here waiting for me, but soon my parent has to leave doing their job in other country while my brother going back to London. And my fiance will take care of me, but he also needs to work. I will be alone here,” Luhan pouts. “Of course I would love to be your friend. I’m going to visit you as your doctor in my work time, and i will visit you also as your friend in my spare time. How does it sounds like?” Sehun asks. “I love it! Thanks Sehun!” Then Luhan and Sehun continues their talking. They feel so comfortable to be with each other even they only know for a short time. They talk about their basic life, and they get to know each other more. They stop talking when Luhan’s family get back from their breakfast and then Sehun tells them about Luhan’s injury and what he could do. After finished talking, Sehun should leave because after all, his lots of job wait him ahead. “I’m sorry but I should leave now. Good morning everyone.” Sehun says and everyone bid him a goodbye. When Sehun closes the door, his heart can’t stop hurting, for knowing that Luhan is already engaged. Sehun never falls in love before, he always determined focusing on his school and his achievement. This is the first time he ever feel something like this, but he finally realizes that maybe this is love, and for him, love at the first sight. But unfortunately, his first love maybe ends with heartbreaks. ‘So this is what it feels to love someone,huh? But unfortunately I’m the only one who feel this tingling feeling inside me, I’m the only one who feel something weird but nice happen when i’m talking with him and staring to his beautiful face. How poor I am’ Sehun laughs himself. Barely he knows that he’s not the only one who feel this. Barely he knows that Luhan feels the same to him, but Luhan tries so hard to ignore it. -----------------------------------------------A night at bar “One more vodka please,” Chanyeol asks the bartender. Chanyeol keeps remember every moment he spend with kyungsoo. He really wants to forget kyungsoo, but he couldn’t. The memoirs of their first met, their first conversation, their first date, his confesion, kyungsoo acceptment, their first kiss, their first making love, keep rolling in his head. Chanyeol isn’t a drunker, but he really needs to drink now, he hopes it could help him get rid of his heartbreak, at least for a moment. But he’s wrong, his painful heart keeps scratching and even more now. He doesn’t know that while he keeps drinking, someone watchs him from far. Someone who interested in him, the first time he laid his eyes on him. Finally he braves himself and reaches for Chanyeol, he really wants to know him. The man then sits next to Chanyeol and Chanyeol as he is busy with his mind, he doesn’t realize it until that man speaks. “I never saw you before in this bar. You’re new, huh?” he speaks. Chanyeol turns his head to see that man. ‘Wow, a beautiful man,’ he thought. “Yes, this is the first time I come here. Well i’m not a drunker you know, but tonight I just really need this drink for lighting my head.” “Why do you want to drunk? You must have a problem, right? But drink doesn’t give you any solution, it doesn’t give any benefits.” He tells chanyeol with a pity look. “Because I don’t know what should I do anymore, I’m so down right now.” Chanyeol says and he looks so frustate.” And why you told me not to drink? You’re a drinker , what else you would do in this bar if you don’t want to drink.” “No, I’m not a drinker, I come to this bar to sing. I work here as a singer, and even I work in a bar, I never drink anything, because it’s not good. If you have a problem, you can tell me, I’m a good listener. By the way, I haven’t told you my name, I’m Baekhyun. What’s yours?” Baekhyun smiles so beautiful and it makes Chanyeol feel something weird happens inside him. “I’m Chanyeol, nice to meet you Baekhyun.” Chanyeol replies. “So would you like to tell me your problem? Maybe I can help you find a solution for that, and trust me, sharing your problem with others will ease your heart. You shouldn’t keep your problem alone, it’s not good for you.” “Well okay, if you insist.” Chanyeol agrees. Chanyeol doesn’t understand why he is willing to tell him about his life when he only meet him tonight. But there’s something in Baekhyun eyes that makes him feel safe, feel like Baekhyun will give him a place to stay. “Oh but I’m sorry I should sing first. Would you want to wait for me until my work time finished? We could go after that, maybe for some dinner.” Baekhyun asks hopefully. “Sure, I’ll wait here.” Chanyeol smiles. “Thank you. But please, while you’re waiting for me, don’t drink anymore, okay? Just asks for mineral water.” “Arasso. Just go and do your work.” Then Baekhyun leaves him and prepares to sing. Chanyeol moves closer to the stage, he wonders what his voice will be like. When Baekhyun’s ready and start singing, Chanyeol feels lost. He feels lost in Baekhyun’s voice. Baekhyun’s voice is beautiful, as beautiful as kyungsoo in different way, and as wonderful as kyungsoo in tune. But what’s different is somehow, Chanyeol feels like Baekhyun sings for him. His voice comes right to his heart. Chanyeol realizes now that even kyungsoo’s voice is amazing, Chanyeol never feels that he sings for him. Baekhyun’s different, maybe it’s just his feeling but Chanyeol feels that Baekhyun sings for him, to make him know that he’s there for him. After Baekhyun finishes working, they leave the bar and go to a restaurant. There they get to know each other better, and shares their stories. Mostly, Chanyeol tells Baekhyun about his miserable life, for being left by a lover that never loves him from the very start. “I’m sorry to hear that Chanyeol,” “It’s okay, Baekhyun,” Chanyeol replies sadly. “From hearing your story, I know kyungsoo is a great man. But I think I hate him,” baekhyun replies. “Hm? Why?” Chanyeol confused. “For leaving you. How could he never love you from the beginning? How could he still love Jongin when you’ve tried anything to be the one for him?” “Because I realize I can’t force him to love me, Baekhyun. We never know when love comes to us, and we never know who we will love. That’s why I can’t forced him to stay beside me anymore when I know his love will never change and he could never love me. I love him, and I believe he loves Jongin maybe as much or more than I love him. I feel sorry for him, for ending his love to Jongin for the sake of everyone, because I do know how it feels to have unrequited love.” Baekhyun sighs, “I wonder how could he never falling in love with you. You’re the greatest man with a big heart i ever know. But you surely have a lack , you always think about everyone else but you don’t care about your heart. You must stop worrying anyone and start worrying yourself, Chanyeol.” Chanyeol blushes hearing what Baekhyun said. “Thank you for your advice, maybe next time when  finally my heart completely healed, I will start fighting for myself again. But for all of this, I will just let it go. I hope they have a happy ending, no matter how the story ends.” “And you, yourself, deserve a happy ending as well, Chanyeol. Time heals all wounds. I’m sure you’ll meet another person who will love you with all his heart, as much as you will love him.” Chanyeol smiles, “Thanks Baekhyun for everything. I also hope there will be someone for me, I could falling love with and who love me too.” Then Baekhyun looks straightly into Chanyeol’s eyes and says words full of sincerity,“Could you let me trying to be that person? I wanna heal your wounds, and I wanna make you falling in love again.” -------------------------------------------------------------- That's the end of chapter 10!
