Chapter 1 - The Wedding D (1/1)

The hall was filled by people wearing black tight formal suites and different elegant gowns. Everything was perfect and magical. From the white linen table cloth to beautiful dim-lights hung on the ceilings of the hall.Dancing at the center stage was a sweet couple, smiling as the light magically illuminated their spot. People were raising glasses as the master of the ceremony announced that the couple will slice the cake, placed at the center of the platform.The cake was a three tier cake with five satellite cakes surrounding the center, which gave a fairytale essence to the design. To make it more magical, the cake was placed and displayed on a princess carriage with different lights, which made it shimmering. Flowers were also placed at the top of the cake making it more elegant.After the cutting the cake, everyone was waiting for the waiters to serve it to everyone. Gentlemen, wearing white long sleeves, black bow tie, and jet-black pants, eventually served the delicious dessert to the guests.While everyone was busy feasting on the cakes, one server quickly went to the back side of the hall. He quickly opened the red curtain and saw a petite young man with doe-eyed like eyes in black suit nervously tapping his fingers on his knees. The young man briskly looked up when he noticed that someone just opened the curtains.“How was it? Do you think they liked my cake? I think I forgot to put enough confectioners on it. Did someone complained about the taste? How did they –““KYUNGSOO!” the guy snapped, “Stop panicking. Everyone liked it! I swear.”The small guy sighed. “Thanks Xiumin hyung. I just can’t believe that I was able to make a wedding cake again despite of having a lot of works, especially things related for our company”“Don’t worry, you did a great job. Actually, I heard a lot of people saying that they really like the taste of your cake” Xiumin sat beside Kyungsoo and tapped the latter’s shoulder. “Don’t pressure yourself kid.” The guy added.Kyungsoo gave him a weak smile.Baking was the only thing that makes him happy.
