Chapter 8 (1/1)
The rest of the night, Ahri walked around the house with a huge smile on her face. She had never been in a better mood. She soon realized that it was becoming late, and she went to bed.Surprisingly, the next morning when Ahri woke up, she wasn't as tired. She was in a good mood. So much of a good mood that she opened her window to let the cool morning air in. She quickly picked her clothes from her closet. Also grabbing her dance bag, she put a fresh pair of practice clothes inside, along with her tennis shoes.Ahri had dance practice tonight after school, and she couldn't wait. Dance was one of the things that kept her sane. She had been dancing ever since she was little. Ahri's eyes wandered around her room until they landed on Baekhyun's hoodie. "It's still a little chilly outside," Ahri thought. 'Should I wear it?' She paused for a second, grabbing the piece of clothing and running into the bathroom. Quickly slipping on her jeans, t-shirt and Baek's hoodie, Ahri combed her hair and left her bathroom; she was too lazy to put on makeup. It was still early, school didn't start for another two hours. "I woke up early for once?" Ahri said, making her way back to her room. Baekhyun was awake, too. "Hey, do you wanna go get breakfast before school?" Ahri asked, opening her window. Baekhyun looked into the air, and then smiled. "Sure, I'll be over in five," He said. Ahri closed her window and grabbed her bag, walking downstairs. When Baekhyun walked downstairs, he was greeted by his mom and dad eating breakfast. "Is Eunji still asleep?" he whispered. "Yeah, she is. Do you want some breakfast dear?" His mom answered, smiling. "No thanks, I'm going to get breakfast with Ahri," Baekhyun said, smiling while saying her name. "Is that her? Wait, isn't that your hoodie?" Baekhyun's dad asked. Baekhyun turned pink. Yeah, that is his hoodie. "Yeah, that's her. I'll see you guys this afternoon." Baekhyun said, quickly walking out the door. Ahri was standing outside in his yard, earphones in. He could see that she was singing along silently to the song.Ahri seemed to look better in his hoodie than he did. It was a little big on her, and her black skinny jeans made her look even tinier than she already was. She had her hands inside the pockets of her--well, his, hoodie, and she puffed her cheeks out, releasing steam from her mouth. When Ahri saw Baekhyun, she took out her earphones and smiled. Baekhyun looked her up and down, taking in how good she actually looked in his hoodie."I hope you don't mind. It's cold, and your hoodie is really warm and-" "It's okay," Baekhyun started. "You look cute in it. Even cuter than me," he winked. Ahri rolled her eyes and playfully hit Baekhyun on the arm. "You're up early today." Baekhyun said. "Any reason?" He looked at her suspiciously. "Actually, no. I have no idea why I'm awake at this ungodly hour," She said. That's the thing, she really didn't know why she was awake this early. It wasn't like her to do that. "Maybe my habits are starting to rub off on you," Baekhyun smirked. It made Ahri laugh, because maybe he was right. "Hey, where are we even walking to?" Baekhyun asked. "There's a little cafe on the corner here," Ahri said, pointing to the restaurant. It was a beautiful little place. The walls were a calming blue color, and the white tables and chairs complemented it nicely. There were pictures of different areas in Seoul all over the walls. It reminded Baekhyun of his favorite coffee shop back in Daegu. He smiled at the memory.Ahri was watching Baekhyun observe the cafe. When Baekhyun smiled, Ahri walked away and led them to a table by the window. As soon as they sat down, an older woman came to serve them. "Good morning. What can I get for you two?" she asked. Baekhyun and Ahri looked over the menu. Ahri was going to order when Baekhyun spoke up. "A mocha for me and a hot chocolate for her, please." Ahri looked amazed. How did he know she was going to order that? Ahri pouted and looked at Baekhyun. "Baek, I could've ordered it," she said. "No, I got it," Baekhyun pinched her cheeks and laughed."You two are a lovely couple. So cute." the waitress said. "Ajuhmma, we aren't-" "Thank you," Baekhyun said as he handed the woman the menus, cutting Ahri off. Ahri blushed. Why did Baekhyun call her his girlfriend? Well, she didn't exactly hate it. (and was reprimanding herself for doing so,) When Baekhyun looked at her and smiled, she blushed even more. "How did you know I was going to order that?" She asked him. "Well I'm your best friend, of course I should know these things," he joked, smirking. Just then, the bell on the door jingled, and in walked 3 boys. They were the "popular" guys at their school, except, Ahri knew that they weren't as cool as everyone thinks they are. Ahri has known them ever since she was in elementary school. She wasn't as close to them as she was to Kyungri, but they were still great friends. All three of them were taller than Ahri, even though one of them was younger than she was. They were all handsome as well. Two of them had dark brown, almost black hair, and the youngest had dyed his hair blond. They all had warm smiles and when they saw Ahri, they waved and walked over. "Hey Ahri!" Kyungsoo, the shortest one said. Sehun and Chanyeol greeted afterward. Baekhyun looked at Ahri, confused. "Oh, guys this is Byun Baekhyun." Ahri aid, looking at him and smiling. Seeing her smile made him smile, and he greeted everyone happily. "I'm Sehun, and this is Kyungsoo and Chanyeol" Sehun said, pointing to the others. "So Ahri, we heard you got rid of Eric," Chanyeol said. Ahri's eyes went wide."Who did you hear that from?" She asked. She hadn't told anyone, not even Kyungri. "Eric hyung," Sehun said. "Yeah, he told us. We asked him why and he explained everything. Why would you let him do that to you?" Kyungsoo asked. "I don't want to talk about it," Ahri said. Sehun, who was sitting next to her, put his arm around her. "Baekhyun knew they were just friends, but he couldn't help but be bothered by it. 'Why does everyone keep touching her?' He asked himself."It's okay noona. We got your back. I'm sure Baekhyun hyung does too." Sehun said, winking at Baekhyun. "Thanks guys. And don't call me noona, it makes me feel old. You know I hate honorifics." Ahri groaned. "But you call Chanyeol oppa!" Sehun said. This made Baekhyun perk up. Did she really call him that? Ahri looked at Baekhyun and blushed. She knew that was coming."You don't call me Oppa," Baekhyun said, smirking. He knew he got her. One of the things he loved most was when Ahri was embarrassed. Her cheeks turned a cute pink and she hid her face. "I don't even know if you're older than me or not, Baek. So how could I call you oppa?" She said, getting even more embarrassed. "Its May 6th, of 1997," He looked at her. Ahri froze. "Ahh! Ahri's birthday is July 15th! So Baekhyun is older than Ahri," Kyungsoo said."So you should be calling me Oppa, then?" Baekhyun laughed. "You guys are insane," Ahri laughed. "Yeah, maybe just a little. We have to get going though. It was nice meeting you, Baekhyun." Kyungsoo said. Baekhyun bowed his head and they got up to leave. "Bye Ahri. Have fun with oppa," Sehun stressed the word. Ahri waved her hand and they left."I like them. They're nice," Baekhyun smiled. Ahri's face was back to normal, she wasn't blushing anymore. "Yeah they are. A little bit embarrassing at times though," Ahri laughed. "You know, I never realized you didn't call me Oppa until today," Baekhyun laughed. "Really? Do you wanna hear me say it that bad?" She laughed. "Yes, yes I do. Come on..say it. Baekhyunnie Oppa~~" he teased, making Ahri laugh. "No, Baek I-" "And here are the drinks for the lovely couple," the waitress cut in thankfully, handing them their drinks. "Thank you ajuhmma," Baekhyun said, taking some whipped cream from the top of Ahri's drink. "Yah, Baek-" Ahri said. The ajhumma was looking at them weird, and Baekhyun lifted an eyebrow knowingly. "Oppa, that was my whipped cream," Ahri said embarrassed. The ajhumma smiled and walked away, and Baekhyun laughed. Ahri hid her face in her hands while she listened to Baekhyun chuckling. "I hate you," She muttered. "No you don't," Baekhyun smiled, leaning back in his chair."You're right," Ahri thought to herself. "I really really don't."A/N: Hey guys!
