Before they went to where Claire was, “Say to the guard on the main of that house that you’re my visitors and you want to talk to Claire about some personal things.” Elizabeth said to Alice, Eli, Kevin and Kibum before they left the heir’s mansion. “They’ll let you in since Alice Jacqueline is going to.” She added. “Thanks, noona.” Kevin said. “No need to thank me.” Elizabeth said. “After all, I must be the one who’s thanking you.” She smiled to them. “Please do take care.” She added. xXxXx After a few minutes of travelling from Alice’s home, they finally reached the Capulet’s second mansion. They did what Elizabeth told them and then, they waited for Claire in the living room of the mansion. “I think this house is too big for two unmarried ladies.” Eli said. “Angeline-eonni is widowed.” Alice stated “Before, she lives here with her husband and their 2 children, but then, her husband died five years ago.” She added. “But, why is she bitter with Claire?” Kibum asked. “Have you forgotten that Claire is the Capulet’s heir’s beloved illegitimate child?” Alice asked back. “Sure thing Claire is suffering up to now, I wonder how she is.” Kevin said. “Mademoiselle, Mademoiselle Claire Evangeline a dit qu'elle ne veut pas parler à vous tous. (Mademoiselle, Lady Claire Evangeline said that she doesn't want to talk to all of you)” One of the maids of the mansion approached Alice. “Eh? Pourquoi? Où est-elle? (Why? Where is she?)” Alice asked the maid. Even though Eli, Kibum and Kevin didn’t understand French, they found out there was something wrong just by looking at Alice’s facial expression. “What’s wrong?” Eli asked. “Claire doesn’t want to talk to us.” Alice told them. “Eh?!” The boys reacted. “Je suis désolé de vous décevoir, mais je ne peux pas dire cela. S'il vous plaît ne laissez que possible comme vous pouvez. Je ne suis commandes suivantes Mademoiselle Claire Évangéline. (I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I can’t say that. Please do leave. I’m only following Mademoiselle Claire Evangeline’s commands)” Then, the maid gave them a bow and then she left. As soon the maid left, Kevin immediately walked on the path where the maid came from. “Where are you going?” Alice asked. Kevin stopped and looked at them. “Going to find Claire’s room.” He said. “Do you know how big this house is?! Are you crazy?!” Eli told him. Kibum started to walk too. “We’ll be back few minutes before the sunset.” Kibum said. “Hyung.” Kevin reacted. “Let’s go find her. When you see her, talk to her whether she likes it or not.” Kibum told Kevin. “Are sure that you two will look at her room?” Alice asked before Kibum and Kevin left. The two nodded. “You’ll be able to find Claire’s room if you smelled a sweet scent of perfume. And there’s always a ‘don’t disturb’ sign.” Alice said. “Don’t worry, It’s written in English.” She added. “Thanks.” Kibum said and then they left. “So, they still love her even when she’s gone for five months.” Alice thought. xXxXx Kibum and Kevin split up so it would be easier to find Claire. Kibum went to the west part and Kevin went to east part. The maids and footmen in that house were fewer than that of the heir’s mansion so they didn’t have someone to ask. In addition to that, no maids or footmen know how to speak in English. Few minutes of searching, Kevin finally saw Claire. She was standing in front of a big window on the hallway. Kevin didn’t recognize her immediately because Claire was wearing formal attire like Elizabeth was wearing. “Claire!” He called her. Claire looked at him with a surprised facial expression. “What are you doing here?!” She reacted. Kevin came near her. “I’m here to talk to you.” He said. “About what? About the engagement? Kevin, you can’t change my decision about that.” She said. “Claire. Be true to yourself. Stop pretending that you want that engagement. Let’s go back home.” Kevin pleaded. “It’s already over, Kevin.” Then suddenly, Yves came behind Kevin. “My fiancée, who is he?” Yves spoke in English since he noticed Kevin was a foreigner. He went near to Claire and offered his left arm. “An intruder.” Kevin was surprised by what Claire called him. He wasn’t able to move when Claire placed Yves’ left hand on the left part her waist and then she hold on to the right part of Yves’ waist. “Don’t worry; he’ll leave this house peacefully since he didn’t get what he wants.” Claire said. “Then, shall we leave?” Yves asked her. Claire smiled to him. “Okay.” Claire left with Yves without hesitation. But when she passed by Kevin, she whispered something. “Forget me.” and then, Kevin suddenly fell to knees. He can’t believe what Claire did and said. He was really hurt and he didn’t know what to do. On the other hand, Yves and Claire let go of their hold with each other as soon as they were far away from Kevin. “You’re a good actress, indeed.” Yves teased Claire. “Shut up, Yves.” Claire told him. “But seriously, who’s that guy?” Yves asked. “Well, he is –“ “Wait.” Yves interrupted. “He’s the one who’s –” xXxXx Meanwhile, Kibum finally found Claire’s room. “Oh, it’s her room.” He thought. “Claire …?” He knocked on the door but there was no response. Since the door wasn’t locked. He entered her room. “Claire …?” He called again, but there was no Claire on the room. “I never thought that Claire is too neat.” He thought and then he chuckled a little. He studied Claire’s room and then unexpectedly, he saw a picture on Claire’s dresser table. “Wait. It’s Kevin …” He whispered to himself. He opened the drawer of the table and found more pictures of Kevin and some letters. “What is this?” He told to himself. And then, he found Claire’s diary. He was lucky that it was unlocked. What the diary contains made Kibum more surprised. “She likes Kevin even before?!” He reacted.
