Note:*word – said in Korean*word – said in French xXxXx A month ago at the Capulets' mansion, "Oh? Evo, why are you here?" Elizabeth, Evo's fiancée, asked him. "Have you forgotten?’They' have a conference about our wedding today." Evo answered. He was pertaining to their parents. "I know that, but why are YOU here? I mean, I thought you were in Korea." Elizabeth sat down beside him. "I just arrived awhile ago."He answered. Elizabeth was about to ask something but her eldest sister interrupted their conversation. "Oh Evo, good morning." She ignored Elizabeth, as they both expected. "Good morning too, Anna Beatrice." Evo smiled to her awkwardly. "I thought you were in Korea." "I just arrived awhile ago." "Oh, I see." She also sat beside Evo. "How's Korea? Better than France?" She asked. Evo wasn't able to answer. He knew what or who she is talking about. "Ahmm..." "Evo told me awhile ago that he wants to rest. Please excuse us first, my oldest sister." Elizabeth interrupted. Beatrice sighed. "What a waste." She thought. "Oh, sure. Evo, you can use our visit--" "He's going to use my room, no need for that." Elizabeth said. Evo and Beatrice were surprised because of what she said. "Elizabeth, what do you mean by that?!" Beatrice asked in a high tone. "What should I explain? He's me fiancé. So it's normal he could stay in my room." Elizabeth stood up and pulled Evo. "Please excuse us, Beatrice." and then they left. "Argh!" Beatrice stomped on the floor. "That girl." she thought. xXxXx It became a little bit awkward for Evo and Elizabeth when they're walking on the hallway. As they arrived in the front of Elizabeth's room, "I can use the visitors' room, no need to pressure yourself." Evo told her. "No it's okay." "But I think ... it's too early." Elizabeth's eyes opened wide. "You pervert!" She entered her room and tried to close the door but she failed. "I'm just joking!" Evo chuckled. "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Elizabeth pushed the door so it will be closed but since Evo is a man, she failed. "Noona, I'm just joking." Evo started to speak in Korean. Elizabeth was a year older than Evo, making her his noona. "You pervert! How could you say that in front of me?!" "I'm sorry, noona. I'm sorry" Evo laughed again. Elizabeth sighed and gave up. She knew she won't win against that guy. After all, he's the king of all pranks. She sat on the chair near her bed while Evo lay down on her bed. "How's the trip in Korea?" She asked. "Well, it's not quite good." "Did Evangeline get mad?" Evo nodded and frowned. Silence occupied the whole room until Elizabeth broke it. "You could rest here. I'm just going outside to take some fresh air." Elizabeth gave him a disappointed look and walked towards the door. She was about to go out when Evo carried her. "Put me down!" She protested. Evo ignored her and laid her in the bed. "Wua-wua-what the?!" "Quiet!" then Elizabeth kept quiet. Evo lay beside her and put his arms across her waist. "What the hell are you doing?" "Going to sleep." He closed his eyes, ready to sleep. Elizabeth tried to free herself from Evo, but it’s useless. "Evo!" "Wha~t?!" Elizabeth gave up again and sighed deeply. They kept quiet for a few seconds and then Elizabeth started to talk again. "Hey." Evo didn't react. "Are you still awake?" Still, no reaction. “Hey! Wake up!” “What?” Evo finally spoke up. “How is she there?” “Who?” Evo acted like he doesn’t know who it is. “Don’t act like you don’t know.” Elizabeth sat down and looked at him. Evo just ignored her and tried to sleep but this time, he failed. “Hey! Talk to me!” Evo tried to hold her hand to pull her close to him but she moved it away. “Don’t fool around.” She said in French. Evo finally opened his eyes and looked at her. “Well, she’s fine there.” “And then?” “Ahmm .. She looks so happy there.” “Her medicine, does she drink it on time?” “Well, Alice said, yes.” Then, Elizabeth sighed. “You worry too much, you know?” “Of course! She’s my dongsaeng!” Evo tried to pull her again and he succeeded this time. “I want to sleep now.” “Wait.” Elizabeth stopped him. “Wha~t again?” “Stop nagging around. After all, I’m the noona. I’m your NOONA.” “Once we get married, you won’t be my noona anymore. You’ll be my wife. As in W-I-F-E.” “Shut up Evo. I’m talking. Just listen.” Another demand from the lady. Evo kept quiet and listened to her. “Does she have a boyfriend there?” “Well ..” Evo started. “Well .. ?” “She doesn’t, but there are some guys who like her.” Elizabeth sighed again and frowned. “What’s the problem?” Evo asked. “You know how scary my mother is. I’m just worrying about her.” And then, someone knocked on the door. “Yes?” Elizabeth asked. “Mademoiselle, the ‘madame’ and the ‘monsieur’ wants to talk to you.” The maid who was behind the door said. “Where are they?” Elizabeth asked. “They’re at the office of the Monsieur.” “Okay. You may leave.” “As you wish, mademoiselle.” “Looks like you’re in trouble again, noona” “Shut up, Evo. I know that.”Elizabeth rose from the bed and fixed herself. “I’ll be back after a few minutes.” Elizabeth told Evo. “I won’t go anywhere, no need to say that.”Evo smirked. “Seriously, I really don’t know what to do with you.”Elizabeth sighed. “I’m leaving.” Then, she left. As she closed the door, Evo let himself be comfortable on Elizabeth’s bed and then, he fell asleep. xXxXx
In the office of the monsieur, “Lady Elizabeth is already here, Monsieur.” The footman said as he knocked and opened the door. Elizabeth went inside the room. “What’s the problem, father?” She asked her father first. “Your mother and I thought awhile ago that it would be good if our Claire Evangeline will be tied to someone who’s highly ranked.” The monsieur said. “Mother, what do you mean?” “It’s simple my dear. Since Claire Evangeline is the only one who’s unmarried in our family, your father and I decided that Claire Evangeline will be engaged to someone from other highly ranked clans.” Then, the madame smirked at her. “But .. but ..” Elizabeth tried to protest, but she was very scared of her mother. “I hope you’ll tell this to your younger sister when she comes back here in our home. Oh! I can’t wait to see her again, how about you, my darling?” the madame said. “Of course I am! She’s my beloved sister.” Then the monsieur smiled to them. “Mother, you’re so evil.” Elizabeth thought as she looked at her wicked mother.
