That time, Hyijung didn't care what Claire may think about him. He just care about the tests he will give Kibum and Kevin. Claire went to where Kibum and Kevin to ask them what they want to eat for lunch. "Kevin-ah, Kibum-oppa, what you two want to eat?" Claire asked. "hmm.. Anything’d fine to me." Kibum answered. "How about you Kevin?" “Well, same here." Claire sighed. "What can we eat with 'anything'?" She complained. "Hey you two!" Kibum, Kevin and Claire looked where those unpleasant words came from. "Hyijung!" Claire exclaimed. Hyijung came closer to them and ignored the mademoiselle. "Come with me. You have to do some things here in the house before you two will be able to get Hyaeri from Han family." Hyijung told them. Kibum and Kevin were a little surprised, while the embarrassed Claire reacted a little exaggeratedly. "Eh?! Hyijung!" "Fine then" Kibum and Kevin told Hyijung. "Eh?!" another reaction from the mademoiselle. Hyijung smirked. "You cannot back out now." He told them. xXxXx
Hyijung's first test to our boys was harvesting crops at the backyard. Kibum and Kevin thought it was easy, but it was difficult because of the heat coming from the sun and Hyijung didn't teach them how to harvest the crops. "If you harvested the crops nicely, you two will pass the first test." Hyijung told them. "You don't need to do that." Claire told them. "Its fine, Claire." Kevin said and then he smiled. "Work now." Hyijung said and then pushed Claire inside. "Hyaeri, go inside, go inside." "Wue-wue-wait!" Claire wasn't able to do anything since Hyijung closed the door. Claire sighed. "That idiot, I’m going to hit him after this." then she left. xXxXx Outside, Kibum and Kevin started harvesting the crops. They started to sing and play around a little so they'll forget the about tiredness. "Stop fooling around." Hyijung seriously told them. "Have some manners, Hyijung." Kibum told him. "I'll have right manners after you two pass my test." "It’s okay if you're not good to us. We're talking about Claire." Kevin said. Hyijung laughed like a bad guy. "You two are not making any sense. Stop pretending and give up already. I really don't like the both of you." then Hyijung left. Kibum and Kevin took four tests from Hyijung. After harvesting, they cleaned the backyard, kitchen and bathrooms; helped Hyijung at the market, which caused some issues to spread around; and lastly, they cooked. The final test happened at the kitchen of the Han’s residence. "Your final test is cooking." Hyijung announced. "All of us know Hyaeri doesn't cook. She doesn't cook and won’t ever." He added. "Yeah, Ri-chan's cooking skill is the worst." "Kumiko-san!" then Claire pouted. "Ri-chan is doing aegyo again!" "I'm not!" "Yes, you are!" "No, I’m not!" Kumiko kept teasing Claire while Seonhyae was laughing at them. Hyijung secretly went behind Kibum and Kevin. "Start already." He whispered. Kevin and Kibum nodded and started cooking. After an hour, Kibum and Kevin finished cooking their dish. "I'll taste it first!" Kumiko energetically said. "Itadakimasu!" Kumiko didn't react after a few seconds and for that time, Kibum, Kevin, Claire, Seonhyae and Hyijung were just looking at her. "So .... How is it?" Claire asked. "Hmm ...." then Kumiko smiled. "Passed." Kibum, Kevin, Seonhyae and Claire smiled back and tasted the dish. "Woah~ you two really cooked this? It’s more delicious than mine!" Seonhyae commented. "Hyi-kun must taste it! Hyi-kun must taste it!" Kumiko offered Hyijung a spoonful of the dish. Hyijung didn't want it at first but because of Seonhyae, Claire and Kumiko's pleading, he ate it. "How is it?" Kibum asked. "Fine. You two win." Hyijung stated. They all, of course except Hyijung, celebrated for the good results of the tests. Few hours later, Hyijung went to the garden for some fresh air. Kibum and Kevin followed him. "Now that we passed, what's next?" Kibum asked. "It’s up to Hyaeri-noona." Hyijung told him. "You finally called her noona." then Kevin smiled. "I just don't call her noona before because of you two." Hyijung sighed. "Now that you two are here. I don't know what aboji will say." then suddenly, Seonhyae came on a rush. "Oppa-Ajusshi! Appa is already here!" She said. Hyijung immediately ran to the living room. He was followed by the three. When they arrived, they saw Claire and Kumiko with the man they're calling father. "Aboji" Hyijung kneeled down as a sign of his respect to his father. "Hyijung, stand up." the man they're calling father said. Hyijung followed him but, Hyijung didn't look at him in the eye. "Who are they?" "Hyaeri-eonni's friends, Kim Kibum and Kevin Woo of u-kiss." Seonhyae said. "He's our father, Han Jungsoo." She told Kibum and Kevin. "Nice knowing you, sir." Kibum and Kevin told Han Jungsoo. It became silent for a few seconds. "Appa...?” Seonhyae asked. "Hyaeri..." Then Han Jungsoo's eyes started to be teary. "Are you going to marry both of them?" "Appa!" Claire exclaimed. "*Sigh* You never change." she added. Kibum and Kevin was a bit surprised because of Jungsoo's action but others just chuckled. "I’m sorry for my actions. It’s just I mi---" Jungsoo was cut off because two phones rang. "Sorry, please excuse me." Kibum walked away to answer the call. "Yeoboseyo?" Claire answered her phone. "Hmm? Alice. Why?" "Claire, you need to go back now." "Eh? Wae? .. What?! Angeline?! Okay, bye" then Claire hang up. "What did Alice-eonni say?" Seonhyae asked. "I need to--" "Claire, Kevin, we need to go back." Kibum interrupted. "Why?" Kevin asked. "Manager-hyung is mad. Something happened." "Maybe because of Angeline. Tsk. That girl." Claire frowned. "Angeline? Who's Angeline?" Kibum asked. "Hyaeri's older half-sister." Jungsoo told them. "Eonni's devil half sister." Seonhyae hugged Claire. "Don't go eonni." Seonhyae plead. "But I have to." Claire told her. "Seonhyae, let noona go." Hyijung said. "I don't want to!" Seonhyae hugged Claire tighter. Claire coughed, causing Kibum and Kevin to worry. "Seonhyae!" Jungsoo exclaimed, making the others alert. "Appa..." then Claire looked at Seonhyae's pity face. After seeing her eonni's serious face, Seonhyae gave up and let her eonni go. "Let's go." Claire told Kibum and Kevin. The two nodded and then they left. xXxXx
Meanwhile, at the office of NH Media, "I'm sorry to keep you waiting, ma'am." the office secretary told a lady when she arrived in Korea. She looks a bit like Claire, but she's older than Claire. "Oh, it’s nothing. Can I talk to the C.E.O?" She said. The secretary nodded and guided the lady on the way to the C.E.O.'s office. At the office, "Sir, here she is." then the secretary left. "Annyeonghasaeyo." the lady greeted. The C.E.O. greeted her back. "I want apologize for what’s happening right now." the C.E.O. said. "No, I should be the one to apologize. My younger sister caused you guys trouble, a lot of troubles to be exact." the lady said. "It’s nothing, Ms. Angel" the C.E.O. told her and then the lady smiled. Claire Evangeline, play time is over,she thought.
