Horse Riding Part 1 (1/1)

"It is time to get up Princess Ji Eun." the maid came in telling you. You sat up rubbing your left eye to wake yourself up. "What time is it?" you asked. She bowed her head to be respectful. "It is now 9 in the morning" she told you. "Thankyou" you responded."You may leave." she left the room with her back facing the door.You put your hair out of your face then patted your cheeks  to wake up once more. You did a long yawn then finally decided to get off the bed to get ready for another long day. Your horse riding clothes was all set for the night before so all you had to do was wash up. Letting yourself soak in the warm bath tub, you inhaled the sweet fragrance of roses surrounding you. You loved the scent very much. For the outfit, you wore a creamy, loose, long sleeved shirt that had red outlines around it. You also wore black with gold shorts and accessorized it with a simple necklace and bracelet. Your hair was let down but you braided a strand up to make it look neat and pretty. For the shoes, you wore brown, leather boots. You had left your room and made your way towards the kitchen to check up on your food. The chef and the cooks there greeted you warmly. "Princess Ji Eun." they bowed respectfully. You bowed back and asked if you could take the food you made last night out. Of course they let you so you did. You wrapped the lunch boxes in pretty detailed clothings in carried them all stacked up on each other. As soon as you took a step, many people offered to help you but you insisted that you wanted to carry them. You made your way down the long hall, flight of stairs and then out the entrance to the car that was already waiting for you.No one was waiting yet so you stored the food safely in the back of the car then made your way to the car to wait. Sehun was the next to come down and he chose to sit next to you. "Good morning Sehun -sshi" you bowed to him. He bowed back but then frowned. "Call me oppa" he told you. "Drop the formalities when its around us only okay?" he asked you. You never called any other guy before, infact you didn't have any guy friends at all so it was extremely akward for you. He stared at you expecting you to reply. At that moment you felt yourself heating up. "Ne Sehun-sshi" you finally spoke without thinking, "I meant o-oppa. Sehun...oppa." you spoke softly. You heard a chuckle then looked up and saw Sehun laugh. You pouted at his response. He saw then stopped. "Haha, it was very cute. It's your first time calling someone oppa isn't it?" he asked. You didn't respond but just fiddled with your fingers. He took your silence as a yes. "I'm glad it's me thats first" he smiled. "Being called oppa by you." On the outside of the car, you could see Ji Sung walking very closely with Kai. You smiled at Sehun as a response. "By the way, you look very pretty" he added in. You were about to reply when the door opened and Kai and Ji Sung came in. "Good morning Kai-sshi, Ji Sung unnie." you bowed at them. They slightly bowed back then made their way to the back seats. Ji Sung was holding Kai's arm very tightly and leaned her shoulder against his. "Thank you." you mouthed to Sehun accepting the compliment "You too." you found yourself being more comfortable. You glanced at Kai and then at Ji Sung. What happened last night, came flying back to you and you blushed at the thought of it. Why was Kai carrying you last night? You didn't know. You turned around and watched the scenery change as you waited to reach the destination.Soon after a long ride, you glanced outside and saw a very big field suitable for horse riding. You didn't wait for the man to open the door for you, as you went out straight away. The air here was fresh and you felt more like yourself out here then inside of the mansion. The bright, warm sun was out, letting you feel the warm rays of the sun rest against your skin. They grass was as green and it swayed with the light breeze along with the trees. It was a perfect day for a day off.  You inhaled deeply then went to the stables that you spotted. It was a short walk to get there. Turning around, you saw that Kai, Sehun and Ji Sung just started leaving the car. You pouted at how they didn't seem as excited as you were. "Have they been here a lot before?..." you mumbled. You shrugged it off and made your way to the horses. There were four horses in each of their seperate, spacious stables. Your eyes glistened at the sight of them and you immedietly walked in like a curious child. There was a horse that had white skin and had beautiful, lucious hair. You reached your hand out to touch it when Kai walked in. "Your horse is over there." he pointed to the chocolate brown one and you adored it just as much. Kai saw your reaction and smiled slightly. "ALMONDS!" Ji Sung came squealing. She ran to to the light brown horse with light, silky hair in the back right. "I missed you!" she hugged him. Sehun then entered and walked to the horse in the upper left. "Ebony, how have you been?" he fed him a carrot and patted the black horse, that had a white print on his head between his eyes. You carefully walked over to your horse. You were told that it was young but it looked very big. It was brought in yesterday and is old enough to be ridden on. You extended your hand gently patting it on the head down to the nose. It seemed to like it as it neighed softly. The coat was a dark brown color and it looked very healthy. "What's her name?" you asked around looking for an answer to see the others distracted by their own horses. Your attention was immediately back on your horse.You giggled trying to think of a cute name to match her shiny coat."Chestnut?" you were in deep thought. "Wait, thats too common. Chocolate Truffle?" You chuckled once more. "Thats my favourite dessert." you murmurred. "Alright, I'll call you Chocolate Truffles. Truffles for short." you clapped once. Soon everyone was busy putting on saddles on their horses. You were confused and tried to copy the others to no avail. You  managed to buckle some correctly until you saw someone helping you strap on Truffles saddle for you. "Thankyou Sehun oppa. "you smiled meekily. "It's my first time handling a horse.""There it's on properly now. I'll show you how get on and ride outside." he handed you the rope attached securely but gently to Truffles snout. "You go to Ebony. I'll manage by myself." you tried to be more independent. Soon everyone's horses was out by the field. There were a few maids and personal doctors waiting by the benches for any emergencies. One by one everyone got up and you somehow successfully got on too. Grinning proudfully at Sehun who was eyeing you a few meters away. He grinned back. Now the only problem was how to get the horse to listen to you. Of course the horse instructor came to give you a mini basic lesson. The others were trotting around having fun while you were still learning.The professional instructor first made sure that you were seated properly and had gripped onto the rope tightly."To make your horse move forward, gently squeeze with your calves." The instructor started. You nodded listening."To make your horse halt, sit deep in the saddle and apply pressure with the reins. You can also say "whoa". Practice halting your horse without using your reins. Your horse should respond to your seat." You gently tugged on to the reins visualizing to halt while nodding."To turn your horse, pull the left or right rein out to the side and apply pressure with your outside leg." the instructor spoke. He led the horse around slowly so that you would get used to the feeling of riding a horse. Eventually you began to also trot around the field without the instructors help. You smiled at Ji Sung who was with Kai, with both horses walking at a slow pace."Having fun?" Sehun snuck up from behind you, you being briefly distracted."Y-yeah I am." you were startled. " Are you gonna race with Kai-sshi later?" you patted Truffles. Sehun chuckled at you still addressing Kai as Kai-sshi. "Yeah I am later." he looked relaxed. "We haven't roden since last year actually." he admitted. "Let's all eat first since I made you guys all lunch boxes! (bento boxes)" you beamed. Sehun swiftly got down and patted Ebony. "Aren't you going to help me down?" you asked looking at him smiling. Sehun held his hands out waiting for you too reach down. Reaching down Sehun held you by your underarms and carefully helped you down. "Pwoah, your heavy." he joked. You frowned at him and stomped off to go get the lunch boxes. "Go call the others." you walked off suddenly sensitive about your weight."Hey!" I was kidding!" he shouted out to you across the field.
