Unbelievable (1/2)

♍ "When I see that kid... It's not gonna end well for him," Taeyang said with confidence. His hands were gripping the steering wheel so hard, that his knuckles were turning white. "How dare he touch you like that! I'm gonna kill him."

A part of me was glad he was showing his anger. That meant he cared for me. But on the other hand it was a little scary. I knew what he was capable of, so I was more afraid of what he could cause then what someone could do to him. But know I was more scared to sit in this car with him. I saw the speedometer go up a few miles per hour.

I gipped his arm. "Bae, calm down. And drive slower! You're gonna kill us, or someone else," I said.

"I hope that someone is Jonghyun," he said.

"Taeyang!" I said shocked.

"Are you defending him now?!" Taeyang yelled and looked at me.

"No, I just think you're taking it too far.. with your thoughts. And besides, I don't want you to do anything. The only thing that you're gonna cause is more problems," I said angrily. He kept looking at me with a grimace, trying to find out why I would say such things.

"Watch the rode!" I said.

He sighed and turned his head. I looked at his hands and saw that his knuckles were still white from gripping the steering wheel so hard.

"Mi Yung, you know I don't want you to get hurt," he said calmly, pulling up in my driveway. "That means, that if someone hurts you... They're dealing with me. I'm gonna pick you up tomorrow..."

"No, you are not," I said interrupting him. He closed his eyes and breathed out through his nose.

"... and if I see that kid...," he was talking through his teeth now.

"Taeyang!"

"I'm gonna punch the crap out if him."

"You are... Unbelievable," I said and got out of the car the second he stopped it. I walked around his car towards my door. Taeyang slammed his car door shut and grabbed my arm, turning me around.

"Grabbing someone by their throat and threatening them is not normal, Mi Yung!"

"Well... I just don't want you to get hurt! And I can take care of myself perfectly fine," I said.

"Those are just empty words, Mi Yung. Or else you would've done something by now. Or even better, Jonghyun wouldn't even have touched you that day!"

"Whatever, just let it go Taeyang," I said. I got myself out of his grip and walked in the house. I knew he would follow me inside, so I let the door open. Walking into the kitchen, I threw my bag onto the kitchen island.

"Mi Yung..." Taeyang said. At that exact moment I turned around. I wasn't surprised that he was standing right in front of me. I leaned against the kitchen island and looked up at him with my arms crossed.

"Please, Bae. Is it OK if we stop talking about it?" I said, looking into his dark brown eyes. We looked at each other for another few seconds, before he looked up at the ceiling and let out a big sigh.

"Bae," I said. I was getting a little impatient and I frowned slightly.

When he looked down I saw a smirk play on his lips. I sighed, knowing that it was the way I said his name that made him smirk. He told me ones that I said his name differently compared to the rest. I didn't hear the difference, to me it was all the same.

When he looked up at me, his look was so intense that it startled me. I sucked in a small breath. I couldn't ignore it. I had a big crush on Taeyang. No lies. Non of my friends knew, but Li Na had some suspections. Off course I denied all of it. But the members of Taeyang's gang did know. Maybe because I knew them so well and hung out with them so much. I wouldn't be surprised if Taeyang himself knew too. I knew he liked me too. I knew by the way he treated me, by the way he secretly showed me he cared for me and most of all by the way he was looking at my lips at this very moment.

"You make me go crazy, woman," he said. His eyes looked like that of a hungry animal. My heart was beating at an unnatural speed, when he walked up to me and trapped me by putting his hands on the kitchen island on either side of my body. Besides my heart trying to burst through my ribcage, it felt like my body temperature was going up a few degrees.

This couldn't be healthy. But this was it. This was the moment I've been waiting for, for so long. He looked at my lips one more time, licking his lips, before leaning in. He bent his head coming closer and closer. Yes, yes, yes! I thought.

The kitchen door flew open and in walked my dad slamming with de door. Taeyang and I jumped apart and looked at my dad. He looked furious.

"D-Dad.. It's not what you think..." I stated, but he cut me off.

"I want you to get out," he said with an angry voice.

"Dad!" I said shocked.

"And you too Mi Yung. Go get something to eat, I don't care. I'm having a last minute meeting in my office right now and we need to concentrate. It'd be better if you weren't here tonight."

"Dad what's going on? What happened?" I asked walking up to him.

"Everything is fine, sweety. Go sleep over at a friends house OK." He kissed me on my forehead and walked out of the kitchen. There was just enough time before the door closed, to see that my dad was being followed by a few man in suits.

When the door closed there was only silence. I jumped slightly when I felt Taeyangs hand on the small of my back.

"Let's go. He sounded pretty serious just now."

I nodded, grabbing my bag from the island and following him outside. Just when I was about to close the door, I heard my dad yell some angry words and I quickly closed it.

"Wow, what was that all about?" I asked, even though I knew Taeyang couldn't answer that question. He wasn't even paying attention to what I was saying. He was texting on his phone.

"What are you doing?"

"Texting the group. We're going out for dinner," he said smiling, before stepping into the car. I sighed. He totally ignored what just had happened. I was secretly annoyed that he moved on so quickly... after the kiss. Well... almost kiss. Didn't it mean anything to him?
