The World of RED

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -    Long ago the Deities created the world known as Earth and bestowed upon it the land, air and sea. It was a world created in their honor and in their image. Animals were created soon after, shortly followed by Humans, and the creatures of Atrum known as Demons. But before we get into the inhabitants of this land, let us first speak of the land itself. Everything else will unfold in due time. Bustling with it's vivid greenery, skies of glowing blue and waves of crystal; Earth embodied beauty at it's truest form. A single landmass was forged in the center of the ocean and soon it began to blossom with innovation. The humans created settlements where they would gather to create a society. Science was discovered and with it technology was invented. Small settlements turned into large cities with skyscrapers that would tower into the clouds. Advancement. Progression. Expansion. Eventually the humans were evenly spread along the land, embracing and establishing regions within their one continent. But their peaceful livelihood would not last, as the demons retaliated, establishing their own territories. The Deadlands; forbidden areas covered in a thick smog and toxic haze began to threaten the humans as their locations were purposefully meant to intimidate by proximity. It was a land forsaken to humans. In response, the humans united and elected a single man to lead them, and salvage what was left of their world. Order was needed. They needed to feel safe and assured. But they also needed someone who was strong, brave and noble. And so King Dorgian, the first man to showcase unbelievable strength and magical ability, was selected in the year X210.
