[M] Chapter 14/16 (1/1)

Chapter 14When night comes and Hyeon comes into the bedroom Min is already asleep. He lays down on the bed and takes the book from the nightstand to read before sleeping. Suddenly Min's phone rings and Min's eyes snap open as he sits up to quickly answer it. It's a short conversation but Min's expression becomes colder and colder until he hangs up. Hyeon places a hand on his shoulder and when Min doesn't do anything he pulls him back to lay down against his chest. Min grasps a handful of Hyeon's t-shirt and stays silent looking forward. Hyeon takes the book and continues reading this time out loud. Eventually Min's grip loosens and he relaxes against Hyeon.“Do you want to talk about it?" Hyeon asks as he brings a hand to caress Min's hair. Min shakes his head and Hyeon doesn't insist as he continues to read, his hand still on Min's hair.“Hyung?” the younger interrupts his reading after a while. Hyeon, who thinks Min has fallen asleep, stops his hand on his brother's hair and hums. “Someone died.” Min says stiffly. Hyeon tilts his head and lets him continue. “I needed him as a witness.”“Someone killed him then.” Hyeon concludes and Min nods. “I know who killed him.” His fingers start fidgeting in Hyeon's shirt restlessly almost shaking. Hyeon realises that this is a dangerous night for Min a nd leaves the book aside to cup Min's hand on his shirt with his own.“Stay with me.” he says softly and Min's breath shakes. “Hey.” he brings his hand under Min's chin to make him look up. Min's eyes are wide and intense when he looks at him. Hyeon doesn't think when he leans down to press his lips against Min's and Min takes a sharp breath before he starts kissing him back. It's soft and adoring and Hyeon pulls back after a while not wanting to force Min in this state but Min lets out a soft, disappointed sound and leans up to capture Hyeon's lips again. Hyeon immediately complies and brings a hand to wrap around Min's neck keeping him in place as he lets his tongue lick the other's lips. Min breaks the kiss and drops his forehead on Hyeon's shoulder taking a few shaking breaths, fighting the urge inside him.“You're not a monster, Min-ah.” Hyeon tells him sweetly.“What if I can't fight it?” the other asks with his face still buried. Hyeon sits up a little more making Min look at him.“Stay with me tonight.” he tells him smiling a little reassuringly. “Hm?” Min nods, looking a little lost and Hyeon pushes him softly so that Min lays on his back. Hyeon leans down to kiss him once again and Min closes his eyes trying to let go. After a while he brings a hand to Hyeon's shoulder and lets out a gasp allowing Hyeon to deepen the kiss. It's exhilarating, being allowed to explore more of Min so he decides to take his time and Min is willing to give a lot of it. Ever so slowly he starts unbuttoning the few buttons on Min's pajama top and he breaks the kiss to place his lips on every inch of the newly exposed flesh. He does the same with the rest of Min's body after taking the rest of his clothes off. He takes his time worshiping the younger, showing him how much he means to him and Min gratefully accepts it all finally letting go. When Hyeon is done kissing him everywhere he can manage and goes back to kiss his mouth Min doesn't let him, turning him around so he can finally undress him, too. It's the same ritual again but this one is signed by Min's shyness and he is holding back, not sure how much to give so he buries his face on Hyeon's neck taking a few breaths and Hyeon wraps his hands around his waist turning them again so Min is laying on his back.“Are you alright?” he asks him brushing a few strings of hair off his face and Min nods overwhelmed. Hyeon stays silent for a moment looking at him, making his mind up. Then he takes a lotion that he has on the nightstand and presses a finger inside Min, while he leans down to kiss him again to distract him. When he pushes inside him, Min shuts his eyes overwhelmed by the sensation of having Hyeon so close to him. He grasps Hyeon's biceps and digs his nails in the flesh. They are mostly silent, consumed by the the need to feel each other close. Sometimes Hyeon whispers something sweet to Min, mostly when he feels Min's mind is about to slip again and brings him back. When Min is close he looks up to Hyeon and whisper's “hyung” as if asking from his older brother to take the lead and Hyeon whispers “I will never leave you, Min-ah.” and Min is gone burring his face on the crook of Hyeon's neck. Hyeon comes immediately after him, the feeling of Min giving up and finally letting go pushing him over the edge. They lay like that for a while Hyeon dropping his head so their foreheads are touching and Min looks up at him with questioning eyes. Hyeon smiles and rolls over so that he lays on his back and brings Min closer to him. Min complies willingly laying his head on Hyeon's shoulder and falls asleep almost right away. The next morning Hyeon wakes up early as he usually does but Min is already out of bed. Panic rushes over him for a second before he gets up, puts a pair of jeans and a pullover on and goes to the kitchen. Min is not there and the coffee on the pot has already gotten cold. The house is silent. He takes a deep breath and goes to Min's bedroom to find it empty. He rushes to the living room and stops dead on his heels when he finds Min asleep on the sofa with his hoodie on top of his pajamas and an opened file in his hand. He lets a relieved sight and goes over to him to take the file off his hand and leave it on the coffee table. He brushes his hand through Min's hair and lets it drop to the other boy's hand for a second before he gets up to make some fresh coffee. He takes Min's now cold coffee to the sink and pours himself a cup deciding to let Min wake up on his own. He takes a shower and gets dressed to go grocery shopping to have something to make for lunch. When he comes back Min is sitting on the sofa with a fresh cup of coffee, eyes glassy from having just woken up, examining the file again. He greets Hyeon with a frowning nod and the older chuckles and goes over to the kitchen. When he is done with the groceries he leans against the pillar looking at Min who is still staring at the file accusingly.“Killing him won't bring your witness back to life.” he comments and Min turns opening his mouth to protest. “I'm not saying you will,” Hyeon stops him “I'm just stating the fact.” Min pouts and goes back to his file.“Did you figure out what you are going to do without your witness?” he asks walking towards Min and sitting on the coffee table.“Yes but it was a close call.” Min answers seriously and stands up to go get dressed. “Well, let me know how it goes.” Hyeon says smiling.“I will.” Min reassures and leaves the living room.
