"Boss, they're at the KBS channel. Should i change the channel?" a man in a black suit entered the dimly lit office, its velvet walls giving the illusion of blackness."Change it then." the man he's pertaining as 'boss' answered. The man was tall yet has a slender form, he brought the glass of champagne to his curved lips and took a sip. The tv's volume was maximized as requested by him."Okay everybody let's introduce our guests for today. They debuted 3 years ago and apparently today they will celebrate their 3-year anniversary. Woah! We are so fortunate! Now, here is SM The Ballad!" fans howled with the mc as 4 charismatic looking men entered the stage, with the entrance of the 3rd member the feline eyes of the man intently watching the live broadcast seem to flicker in the dark. "Annyonghaseyo everyone, we are SM The Ballad!" the 4 chorused and the audience who still hasn't recovered from screaming, hooted and yelled louder. "Woah! Okay everybody settle down. haha! How does it feel to always hear your names being shouted and yelled? My my..." the host asked no one in particular of the men sitting. "Personally i think i'll never get used to it, i really thank our solid supporters for making us last these 3 years." jay answered. "Me, i'm used to all the yelling because of my mother." kyuhyun, the 2nd to the oldest said. "Oh? Well our parents are really our number one fans aren't they?" the mc concluded. "No that's not what i meant." kyuhyun had a knowing smirk on his face. "Omo, then how does she yell your name?" the mc asked. "Like this, KYUHYUN YOU BASTARD, GET YOUR BOTTOM HERE RIGHT NOW!!!! Thats how I got used to it." everyone even the members cracked up at the joke of this mischievous member. "Oh so that's how you got trained, ahahaha. But now i guess she doesn't do that now?" the mc had a sly expression. "Yes, now i have no one but jay hyung to scold me, haha!" jay pat him on the back playfully. "Oh? So no girlfriends still, i guess? You know... the secret stuff. You can tell us, it'll just be between us 3; sm the ballad, me and the whole country. C'mon still have no eyes for somebody? How about you Jonghyun-shi, since the day you debuted you've been talking about this person who has the key to your heart, any luck of finding the person?" jongkey placards are being lifted from the audience. Bambambaaam-JONGHYUN AND SUZY OF MISS A DATING?!" the sea of fangirls started booing and chanting JONGKEY as a sign of protest. "Omomomomo yorobun, pipe down. That's why were here to get to the bottom of this." "That's a very groundless rumor, haha. But i think they  will look  good together, dont they?" kyuhyun received an ear splitting NO from the audience. "So jonghyun-shi, is it the truth or just a rumor?" the audience chanted 'rumor'. After awhile jonghyun opened his mouth to speak "That article is-"Key changed the channel before he could hear jonghyun's answer. "Joon you know what to do." key said, joon bowed and left without another word. Key took another sip from the champagne from his left hand and with his right holding a knife he threw it at the wall directly at the ragged dinosaur stuffy jonghyun once gave him. "Suzy....you'll regret even breathing the same oxygen as him." ~KEY'S POV~I turn off the television extinguishing the only source of light in my office. Yes, this is my office now... Appa, again, yes i call him that now since 2 years ago. My father passed away and left me this empire. For some strange reason the police didn't found out about our organization that time, 5 years ago. The news the day after did announced that one of the biggest players in the drug dealing economy has been put behind bars and what surprised me is that it was the picture of the mafia leader i was about to negotiate with, leading the arrest was HIM. In my father's death bed he told me everything-when i say everything I MEANT EVERYTHING.For a couple, he told me how he always believed in me and had confidence that i will be a good leader, he apologized for his shortcomings and not a tad of insincerity can be detected, we got emotional when we talked about mom and my......love life. He knew i liked HIM and consoled me as i poured my heart out to him, he told me even though everybody might hate me there's still a lot of people who loves me. Who knew this could be possible?' jonghyun loves this life but at the back of his mind a part of him prefers the life he had with this certain someone some time ago.He looked outside the window, at the visible stars in the sky-the feeling was a bit nostalgic yet sad. He remembered the night he pushed Key away and those hurtful words he said, it was the only thing he could do to save Key from solitary. He was grateful to Minho and Doojun until the end for coming up with the idea to exchange the information of thd Kim's organization and the organization that they're gona meet to make it seem like it was the mafia group jonghyun has infiltrated and thus, arrested. The media took it well enough and was broadcasted globally along with the group of brave policemen involved. Maybe it was part of the reason why Jonghyun was accepted to be a part of the group, SM The Ballad, besides having a kick ass voice when he auditioned.He quit the service months after that big bust, he told his step father a.k.a the chief that it was because of a dream he always wanted to fulfill-his father didn't buy it but didn't say no. Jonghyun thanked the gods for giving him an understanding father. He was on the process of thanking when suddenly their van came to an abrupt stop."Ajhussi, what happened? Did our car brake down?" jonghyun asked, their driver seemed nervous but their two security guys are acting a bit odd. Suddenly one of them talked, "Get out of the car now." it sounded awfully urgent so the 4 of them confusedly exited the car."I wonder wha-" jonghyun started but jino pulled on his shirt "Hyung...who-who are those men?". In a blink of an eye men in black suits have surrounded them each and everyone pointing a gun at their faces, "What do you want?!" jonghyun shouted. Jonghyun looked at their situation, there were two cars; a white van barricading their black van's front and another at the back. Even if he asses and reasses they're in an unfavorable position especially with this amount of enemies but why does he feel he had seen this scenario somewhere before?He just noticed kyuhyun arguing with their security- all along the two were deceiving them going undercover and they too were pointing their guns at them- 'How ironic...' "Long time no see jonghyun-shi..." jonghyun recognizes that malicious voice, he searches for the owner and a tall figure dressed in a sleek black suit like the others, emerged."Ch-chansung-shi?" ---The crowd's attention were yet again caught by the echoing sound of a car opening, jonghyun averted his gaze carefully to not hit those guns on his face. He again recognized the person standing before the opened door-Doojun.'If they're here then that he should also be-' his heart started thumping fast, hands cold and sweating as he look at the person exiting the car."Key...." jonghyun was right it was Key, memories started pouring in-clenching his lovesick heart. Doojun closed the car door with a bang. Everybody tensed as Key started walking their way and Doojun tailing him."Back away..." key said and his subordinates did but were still had their guns directed to the 4. Jonghyun gazed and was speechless as he see the new Key, he always looked confident but it seems today it's on all time high-perfect features for a mob leader, his skin was as flawless as ever and his hair was turned to brownish locks."Ummm...So i guess our job here is done?" kyuhyun suddenly said and got jonghyun confused. "Good work you three, you may go now." key finally talked.'What?! THEY'RE ALSO FRAUDS?! Oh god i offer you my soul, it's a little bit tainted but you would understand right?' jonghyun prayed. Jino, jay, and kyuhyun re-entered the white van and all jonghyun could do was stare at it as it drove away."I told you i would find you. You broke my heart you asshole, and now that i have you completely in my mercy there's just one thing to do..." key put  his hand inside his jacket to get something.'Here it is, he's gonna shoot me. I deserve this, gonna close my eyes to make it more dramatic-tsk why am i thinking like this? What's taking him so long? Key slowly opens the box and a ring twinkled like the stars in the sky "Babo, marry me." key said with a soft smile, jonghyun was stunned. He thought this was his last day on earth then it became tall sugar coated. "What if i say no?" jonghyun joked then immediately everyone of Key's guards cocked their guns so he put his hands up out of reflex."Well, then expect a lot of holes on that body of yours and for the record i wasn't asking.""Woah! The sweetest proposal one can hear, who wouldn't say no? Of course i say yes." jonghyun helped key up feeling the electricity he missed once their skins touched. Key put the silver ring on jonghyun's finger and kissing the top of his hand."Omo, you look so cool, haha!" jonghyun said and once the ring was on his hand Key's men retreated leaving jongkey, chansung and doojun."Haay... the lovers unite again!" chansung said as he and doojun approached the two."I thought for a second there youre really going to kill me." jonghyun said holding his chest."I was going to-" key started and spooked jonghyun, "-but then i saw how hot you still are, i changed my mind." key smirked."And dont forget we were always monitoring your activities so everytime you say 'the key to my heart', key here always blushes." doojun just got a death glare from key. "Ookay, why dont we go to the mansion. " doojun changed the subject.Jonghyun and Key entwined their hands as they walk to the van, "Where is joon-shi and top-shi?" jonghyun asked and doojun who was beside him reluctantly answered, "Umm.. Joon was given a mission.""What mission?" key's grip got a little tighter. Key pushed jonghyun against the wall and kissed gim hungrily but jonghyun turned his head away,"What's wrong?" key asked looking at jonghyun's serious expression. Jonghyun pushed Key a bit from him and Key was taken aback."We should first decide on who will bottom, rock paper scissors?!" jonghyun smiled."Fuck that-i volunteer!" after key declared his surrender jonghyun reversed their position and pinned key to the wall, crashing their longing lips together...-THE END?-------------------------
