"Lay..', Rae greeted him as she walked up to the gate. "Hey, where'd you go?", Lay asked, "Not that it matters, but it seemed urgent. I have to report back to my mom if you know what I mean.""Oh, it was nothing. Just something came up with my friend.", Rae explained. "It was anything you did.", she continued, in fact they barely even talked, but she still didn't want him get offended. "Oh, okay. Then I'll head back home now. See you.", Lay said, going back to his car. She waved goodbye and went inside. "So, how was the date with Lay?", her mother asked, immediately bombarding her with questions."Fine, I'm tired now.Good night.", Rae said, ending the conversation before it got out of hand. She fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow and woke up early the next morning to the sound of her mother's screeching voice. Her window curtains were pulled aside by her maids and her covers flew off her body, making Rae curl up in the cold."Rae, get up! Lay is downstairs waiting for you.", her mother demanded."I have school today!", Rae argued."Yes, that's right. He's here to take you there.", her mother said smugly. Rae got up reluctantly, changed into her school uniform, and ran a brush through her hair. She flew down the stairs and saw Lay talking to her father. "Oh, Rae, good you're ready. Lay's been here waiting. Have fun on the ride to school", her father said and pushed them out the door. They approached the door and this time, Lay held the door for her ans she slid into the car. He came in from the other side and they sat in silence for a minute."Thanks..for taking me to school.", Rae said looking out the window. It was cloudy and looked like it was going to rain. "Sure, no problem. It's on the way to my university anyway. I'll pick you up also.", Lay offered."Oh you know, I actually have something to do after school, so...not today.", Rae said apologetically. Lay was a nice guy, even though it was probably his mother's demands, but still, he gave her no trouble. "Okay, well, here's your stop.", he said and Rae hopped out of the car, waving goodbye. She was excited to see Luhan today and couldn't wait for school to end. Today, the school was announcing who won the King and Queen poll. All the students were filling up the auditorium, waiting for the results. The headmaster was on the stage behind a podium and gathered everyone's attention."Students, this year's King and Queen are.....Kim L.E and Jang Rae Byul! This is their fourth and final consecutive year! Congratulations to the two!", the headmaster announced and the students erupted in a roar of cheering and whistling. L.E and Rae smiled and made their way up to the stage to recieve their "crowns of glory". They waved to their fellow classmates below and posed for pictures. After the meeting, the school schedule was back to normal, but the students were still gushing at the idolized unofficial couple. "Greetings King L.E, Queen Rae.", Ty teased, bowing his head. Rae and L.E had just arrived at the lunch table after fighting through a crowd of fanboys and fangirls. "Not you guys too. We've had enough of this King and Queen nonsense.", L.E complained, wiping his sweaty forehead."Give them a rest. Here, I bought your lunches.", Daze said, pointing to two trays of untouched food."Thanks Daze. You're the best.", Rae smiled and sat down at her seat. In the middle of eating, L.E spoke up, informing them about a hunt tonight again."Tonight?", Rae asked. She had not told her friends about being with Luhan and she had promised him that she'd meet him after school. "Yeah, some EXO problem again. Apparently a gang fight is going to occur in an alleyway in Hongdae.", L.E said, shaking his head. "I never knew they planned these things. Anyway, Jin, do you think you could get us some info on the gang?""Yeah, we'll meet at ShiYo at 9.", L.E told the rest. "Sure, let me just text my dad's assistants. I'll let you know after school.", Jin replied. This was bad. EXO in a gang fight? Meaning Luhan in a gang fight? This wasn't good at all. Rae had to tell Luhan to not go through with it. She was relieved they were meeting today. Maybe she could stop them before 9. Her mind was thinking about tonight during the rest of her classes. When the final bell rang, she raced to her locker, pulling out books and slammed the locker."In a rush?", Jin asked appearing at her side. "Oh yeah, I'm meeting um...my mom's friend.", Rae lied, knowing that Jin would never suspect her. She didn't like lying but it was for the better. At least for now, she could keep it from them. "Okay, see you later tonight?", Jin continued. Rae nodded and barged out the school door, searching the entrance for Luhan. He was standing there, looking as cute as ever in a trenchcoat and beanie hat. "Hey.", he greeted her with a smile tugging at his lips."Hi there.", Rae responded and hugged him. They walked towards the movie theater, talking about their day. Rae was wondering when she should bring up the topic about tonight. "Listen, Luhan. I know what EXO's up to tonight."
