2Eun: Otherworld (1/1)
A tall, black haired girl leaped gracefully onto the branch of a large, colorful tree. A soft breeze trailed its' fingers through the girl's midnight black hair, causing it to flow around her pale, and otherworldy beautiful face. The girl stood completely still on the branch that she had chosen to rest on. Moonlight illuminated the girl in moving patches of silver light. Everything was silent, even the rustle of leaves seemed to be muffled as the tall girl lifted her gaze to the large full moon hanging in the star scattered sky. Suddenly, a sharp crackle of leaves broke the comfortable silence that had ensued just moments before. The girl swiftly turned her head to see a girl looking up at her. The girl that was on the ground widened her eyes, frozen as the other's eyes locked onto hers. What was that girl? Was that girl even human? The questions and the surprise that shot through the girl on the ground was caused by the otherwordly girl's eyes. The color was not that of a human's. Instead, they were a glowing orange. The orange that you would see in the flames of a large fire. The two girls stood, frozen, staring at each other. The human girl, and the girl who seemd to be from that of a different, mystical world.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eunji walked through the halls of her company. To put it bluntly, Eunji was rolling in money. At the mere age of twenty three, she owned one of the most successful companies in Korea. Although she could have anything she could ever want with the amount of money she owned, Eunji felt unsatisfied. Everyday was the same in her life. Wake up at eight, go to work, do paperwork, go home at nine. Eunji wanted excitement. She didn't want to live such a boring, predictable life. Suddenly, her thoughts rewinded to that night. Who had that girl been? No. What was that girl? Eunji was sure that no human could have orange eyes. And especially not glowing ones. She was sure that she had seen it. She hadn't been imagining it. "Hey Eunji!" Eunji was pulled out of her thoughts as a familiar voice called out to her. Yoon Bomi. Her best friend and co-worker. "Hey Bomi, what's up?" Eunji said, giving the other a bright eye smile. "Ugh, we should go on a trip somewhere. I'm getting sick of this place," Bomi said, letting out a sigh. Eunji chuckled. Bomi was also rolling in money, although not as much as Eunji was and the girl was more energetic and adventurous than a puppy despite being the Vice President of Eunji's company. "We can. Whenever we want actually. I mean we have Chorong unnie and the others," Eunji said, "Although I don't think Chorong unnie would be too happy to let us go," she said with an afterthought. "Hey, if we're going anywhere, my Rongie is definitely coming with us," Bomi said, giving Eunji a glare. "Hell no! If Chorong unnie came I would end up being the third wheeler out of all third wheelers," Eunji said, shaking her head and shuddering at the thought. "Hey, have you ever heard of a person having orange eyes?" Eunji said suddenly. "Haha yeah, sure, I mean if that person was a cat or something," Bomi said, laughing. "Right? That's what I thought," Eunji murmured. The two got to Eunji's office and entered it, greeting her secretary, Oh Hayoung on the way. "Hey Hayoung-ah," Eunji said, flashing the girl a smile. "Hi Eunji unnie, Bomi unnie," Hayoung greeted back. "Ohhhhh Hayounggg!" Bomi shouted, putting her hand on the taller girl's shoulder. "Namjoo says she misses you," Bomi whispered into the girl's ear. "B-B-Bomi unnie!" Hayoung said, face turning red as she slapped Bomi on the shoulder. "Owww Hayoung! Is that anyway to treat your unnie and sunbae?" Bomi said, clutching at her stinging shoulder. "Oh get over here Yoon Bomi," Eunji said, grabbing the girl by the back of her shirt and pulling her into her office. "Sorry about that Hayoung!" Eunji said behind her shoulder. Hayoung only grinned and nodded. As soon as the door was closed, Eunji let Bomi go. "My gosh Bomi. Can you get any louder?" Eunji said, plopping down onto her large and comfortable chair. Bomi took a seat on one of the couches in the office, propping her feet up onto the table. "Whatever, it's not like anyone cares," Bomi said, leisurely putting her hands behind her head. "Anyway, don't you have work to do? I know you do because I'm literally drowning in paperwork right now," Eunji sighed, eyeing the precariously piled files on her desk. "Yeah, yeah, I'll do them later," Bomi said, waving her hand in a lazy motion. Eunji only shrugged, then smirked. "Well, don't come crying to me when Chorong unnie kills you." "Oh I can deal with Rongie in more ways than one," Bomi said, suggestively wiggling her eyebrows at Eunji. "Ew, I don't need to know what goes on in your love life," Eunji said, making a face. "Oh yeah, talking about love life, when are you gonna get a boyfriend, or girlfriend?" Bomi asked, putting her feet down and then turning around to face Eunji. "Shut up. I don't have time for those things," Eunji said, shaking her head. "What do you mean you don't have time for those things? That's complete bull-" "Yah! Yoon. Bo. Mi!" "Shit. Uhm hey Chorong unnie, heh heh," Bomi said, laughing nervously. The baby faced older girl closed the door behind her, a ominous smile on her face. "Hey Eunji. Sorry about the rude interruption," Chorong said sweetly. Bomi turned to Eunji with wide, pleading eyes. Eunji shrugged, only mouthing the words, "I told you." "So, Bomi ah. Can you guess whose paperwork these are?" Chorong asked, turning to the utterly frightened younger girl. "Ha ha, uhm, m-mine?" Bomi stuttered nervously. Eunji sat back in her chair, amusement in her eyes. Well, this was one part of her life that wasn't boring. "Correct! And I wonder what you were doing while I was dealing with these things, hm?" Chorong said menacingly, advancing on the cowering younger girl. "Uh, I was, ahhhhh Eunji! Help me!" Bomi shrieked as Chorong pounced on the girl, grabbing a pillow and commencing to assault her victim with it. "Hm? Why Bomi? Just a few minutes ago you were telling me about how you can deal with Rongie in more ways than one," Eunji said, emphasizing the pet name Bomi used whenever Chorong wasn't around. Chorong paused for a moment as Bomi looked at Eunji with betrayal in her eyes. "Rongie? Yoon Bomi, you really want to die, huh?" Chorong said, a dangerous glint flashing in her eyes before she grabbed her fluffy weapon with two hands and brought it down onto Bomi's face. Bomi's muffled screams came from beneath Chorong's weapon and the victim squirmed underneath Chorong, who was now straddling her and suffocating her. Eunji finally took pity on her friend, and she got up from her comfortable position, walking over to Chorong and pulling her off of the suffocating younger girl. "Sorry unnie, as much as I'm enjoying this, I don't really want to explain a dead Vice President in my office," Eunji said, looking at Bomi who looked half dead on the couch. "Hey, Yoon Bomi, you alive?" Eunji asked, letting go of Chorong and prodding the victimized girl with her foot. "Oh my god unnie. Were you really planning on killing me?" Bomi gasped out. "First of all, maybe, And second of all, it's your fault," Chorong said, pity far from her mind. Bomi groaned and got up to sitting position on the couch, her once silky, CF worthy hair looking like a tornado had ripped through it. "Aw unnie! Look at my hair! How am I supposed to face anyone like this?!" Bomi yelled, unsuccessfully trying to smooth her hair out. "You think you're in any position to yell at me right now?" Chorong said, then she grabbed Bomi by her ear and pulled her up. "Sorry about that Eunji, I'll see you later," Chorong said, flashing a smile in Eunji's direction before pulling the whining Bomi out of the office. Eunji smiled and shook her head. What would Bomi do without Chorong? The rest of the day went by rather uneventfully and finally, it was time to leave. Eunji collected all of her things, scanning the room before walking out and turning off the lights. She had let Hayoung take her leave so that she could have a date with her girlfriend, Kim Namjoo, who coincidentally was Bomi's secretary. Usually, Eunji would leave with Bomi and Chorong, but she had wanted to stay a bit longer to finish the rest of the paperwork. Bomi and Chorong had strongly disgreed, knowing that their were a lot of people out for the CEO of a very successful company, but Eunji had waved it off, telling them to go have fun by themselves. Well, Eunji would regret that action soon. Eunji walked out of the large building, locking the doors and then pocketing the keys. She turned to leave when a loud crack split the air and a sharp pain shot through her head. Eunji stumbled forward, falling down. The last thing she saw was a pair of boots and then darkness.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Hey, hey!" a fuzzy voice pierced Eunji's consciousness, and then she was fully woken up when a bucket of ice cold water was thrown onto her. Spluttering, Eunji ope
