Donghae POVEverything went into blur as I carried my unconscious Hyukkie into the hospital.I had dressed both of us up the minute I found him fainted on our bed.I had asked Driver Park to drive us to the hospital knowing that I am incapable of driving in a shocking condition.My mind ran wildly thinking about Hyukkie.God, please don’t let anything happen to my wife and my child.Please…~~I clutched my trousers tightly and tears fall from my eyes.I should be blamed if I lost both of them.The doctor is now inside the ward examining Hyukkie.I was being pushed out of the ward by the nurses saying that I should wait outside.It’s been an hour since the doctor went in the ward examines Hyukkie and my heart run wildly praying that Hyukkie and our baby will be alright.I heard the sound of the doors slide open which I quickly snapped out of my thoughts as I saw the doctor already walk out of the ward.I couldn’t help but ran to the doctor.“How’s my wife doc? Is he okay? How’s the baby?” I asked, feeling really frightened that I’ll lost them both.“First, Mr Lee, could you come with me to my office for awhile, I have something to talk to you, and second, your wife is fine and the baby is too,” he said, which I sighed in relieve.My babies are both okay.Well, Hyukkie is my baby too.I nodded to the doctor and followed him to his office.~~“Mi-miscarriage?” I stutter out.My Hyukkie almost….almost….mis…miscarriage?“Yes Mr Lee, miscarriage, this often happens to pregnant woman especially on first trimester,”“B-but how?”“Well, there are a few reasons that cause pregnant woman miscarriage the baby, for examples psychological insecurities, progesterone deficiency, abnormal chromosomes and etcetera and I suspect that your wife is under the category of progesterone deficiency and also psychological insecurity,”What and what?I am really confused now.“You should know that a pregnant woman should maintain their cheerfulness,”I nodded, I know, and I had failed to do that.Hyukkie had been crying for hours just now, because of me.“I suspected that he had been crying for too much today since his eyes were red and puffy,”I nodded.It is all my fault.“Mr Lee, can I ask the last time your wife have a check up is?”Check up?I remembered the last time we were in the hospital was the day after our marriage on the island.“A-a month ago?” I said avoiding eye contact to the doctor.“I see, well, Mr Lee, you need to know that pregnant woman should at least go for a checkup once a month,”I nodded, remembering it was written in the pregnancy booklet Dr Kim gave us.“I won’t blame you for this because since it’s the first time you’ve experienced this but there is something I need to tell you,”Tell me?“Your wife, well, he is not a woman who makes him incapable of producing certain female hormones, your wife, he is lack of producing progesterone which helps in pregnancy and that’s why, he had fainted,”Hyukkie is what?“I had give your wife an injection of progesterone which will last for a month and for the next checkup, we’ll see if he needed another injection of progesterone,”I nodded again.“Meanwhile, I suggest that your wife will rest here today and tomorrow we’ll have an ultrasound,”I nodded.“Thanks doc,” I said, and stood up, bowing to the doctor.I walked to the door when I remembered something.“Doc,” I said turning around which the doctor look up to me from his documents.“Could you keep a secret on the almost miscarriage part?” I asked.I really don’t want him to feel sorry that he almost miscarriage.“I will Mr Lee,” he said, which I smiled.“Thanks doc,”~~I walked in the ward where Hyukkie was in.My poor baby.He had gone through so much today.His husband was suspected to be having an affair and he almost lost his child.I sat down beside his bed and caress his face.He looks pale.I run my hand to his tummy and caress it.We almost lost you, little one.Appa and umma almost lost you.End of POVEunhyuk POVI stirred and open my eyes and was welcomed by the white ceiling.This is not my home.I glance around and saw Hae backfacing me while answering the phone.“Neh, umma, I’ll take care of him,”“Don’t worry, he is fine, just need a bit of rest,”“No, you don’t need to come over, I am fine taking care of him, don’t trouble yourself umma,”What is he talking about?I need rest?I glance around.I am in a hospital.What had happened to me?I remembered Hae making love to me.Then he went out to take dinner for me.Then I fainted.I had fainted.I am in a hospital.Speaking about hospital, I am pregnant, and I had fainted….My hand has uncontrollably gone to my tummy.I-is the baby still inside me?I try touching my tummy again but I knew it is useless since my stomach had not gone really big yet which it’s hard for me to say if I am pregnant now or if my baby was gone.“Baby, you are awake,” exclaimed Hae who saw me already awake.“H-Hae,” I stutters, I need to know how our baby is.“Are you feeling okay?
