Lovely Dinner (1/1)

“What the hell was that?” asked Jaejoong angrily. “Who is he Jae?” curious Junsu. “It won’t be like this if I know him, Su.” “But it’s seems likes he knows you.  I’m positive he is your friend from archery.” “Then why wouldn’t I recognize him?” “Hmm…” thought Junsu while tapping his chin with his finger. “Come, let’s go home.  I don’t have mood anymore.” “Really Jae?  After all the ruckus at the office before, you can still have a good mood and smile but now?  Did that guys annoyed you that much, Jae?” asked Junsu. “I don’t know.  Maybe.” answered Jaejoong and leave the range with Junsu follows behind. ‘Kim Jaejoong…you never recognize me at all didn’t you?  We just met yesterday at the dojo. But I think I’m not important enough to make you think about me.  This time I hope when I do it this way, at least I can occupied your mind even for just one day..well I hope so.  I  start admire you since the day I met you years ago even though at that time your eyes only stick to one person, Jung Yunho.  But after met you yesterday I can confidently said that I never forget you and still admire you or maybe more than that.  The first day I saw you, you already stick to my mind like a tattoo.  I still wonder how it becomes like that when we not even talk at all before until yesterday.’ mumbled the tall guy to himself while watching Jaejoong and his friend leave the archery range. After have a pep talk with Yoochun, Yunho drive home while his mind keeps replaying about what Yoochun had said.  ‘Is it what Yoochun said is true? Then how on earth can I hurt the one I love so much? There’s no way I already fall in love with him before.  But…Yoochun is right about the space out thingy.  It didn’t happen when I wait for her responses to my confession.  Then what about my feeling to her? I’m happy with her.  I’m not just pretends that I like her. Arghh!!!  I give up thinking about it for now!  Starting today I think I just go with the flow and being nice to Jae.  After all he deserved it.’ Reaching home, Yunho go straight to shower then go to kitchen.  He excited to make peace with his wife eventhough he still not really sure about his feeling yet but after all peace is better than war.  For the first step, he decided to cook dinner for both of them.  ‘Come YouTube, teach me how to make a really really really simple dinner.”  said Yunho will surfing the net try to figure out how to cook.  ‘I think I can do this.  Please God help me go through this.’  Cooking is never Yunho forte.  It feels like battlefield to Yunho.  After struggle with just to find the ingredients, it’s time to prepare it. ‘How on earth Jaejoong can do this all the time?’ wondered Yunho about his wife’s cooking ability.  ‘Now come the experiment time, Yunho, you can do this! Fighting!’ Yunho cheered to himself.  After a while he starts mumbling again, ‘How we chop this thing?  How we opened this thing? Should I boil it first? This video is not showing the detail. Aishh!’  After try and error for a few times, ‘Yay! It’s done. The important thing is, it’s edible. Just have to wait for him to come home.’ said Yunho excitedly.  After finish prepares the meal and setting the table, he heard the engine sound and after that the front door is being open. “I’m home!” greeted Jaejoong. “Hmm.. smells nice Jae.” sniffed Junsu. “Jae, you’re back!” greeted Yunho excitedly while walking towards his wife. “Owh, Yun, you’re home?” asked Junsu. Jaejoong just stand still at the door.  Not in his dream, Yunho would greet him this way.  He walks backward to the front door then to the gate.  Staring at the house, the house’s number, ‘this is our house’ affirmed Jaejoong to himself. “Jae, what’s wronged?” asked Yunho and Junsu, wonder why suddenly Jaejoong walked out. “Who are you?” asked Jaejoong pointed at Yunho. “I’m your handsome hubby, Jung Yunho.” grinned Yunho.  ‘This guy is cute with his shocked face.’ “But…why… you greet me… nicely?” “You don’t like it?” “No. that’s not what I meant.  It’s just… I’m not used to it.  Why suddenly you change?” “Let’s forget the detail. Come inside I prepared dinner for us.” “Dinner?!” this time, Junsu join Jaejoong making shocked face. “Since when you know how to cook, Yun?  Is it edible?” asked Junsu worriedly. “YAH!  I can do it if I put my heart to it.  I learn by watching YouTube.  Well of course it’s not up to Jae’s level, but it still tastes good.” “I know you want to have dinner with just the two of you, but please, I think I need to taste it first before Jaejoong eat it, then I can leave him here without worry.” said Junsu as he walked fast to the kitchen and taste Yunho’s dish.  It’s spaghetti aglio olio rich with seafood. “Wow this is delicious Yun.  I’m impress.” said Junsu. “Yah! Stop eating. I don’t cook it for you.  Now go home. Shooh.” Yunho dragged Junsu back to the front door. “Tomorrow, you have to tell me everything Jae” whispered Junsu to Jaejoong.  “Fine I’ll go. Bye Jae. Bye Yun.” waved Junsu while walked to the gate but then he u-turn to them. “Yunho, I’m supposed to eat Jae’s dish today before he drop me at my house.  So now how on earth am I gonna go home?  I don’t want to take a cab.” asked Junsu to Yunho teasing him at the same time. “Just take Jae’s car, I’ll drop him to office tomorrow.” answered Yunho while he passes the key to Junsu. “Now, go.” Jaejoong just silently watching all the event that happen in front of his eyes.  He got no words to say.  After Junsu left, Yunho pushed Jaejoong’s back so he go inside the house and straight to the kitchen.  “Here, sit.” said Yunho while pull the chair for Jaejoong. Jaejoong just follow it.  His mind still buffer downloading the event.  Yunho start to serve the spaghetti and for the drinks they have minty crushes.  It’s really a simple dinner. “Ok start digging.” said Yunho. After a while, Yunho who already starts eating pause when he see Jaejoong just stare at the food without touch it at all.  “Jae, what’s wrong?  It’s edible, trust me.  See I’m eating it, and Junsu also confirmed it.” said Yunho worried with Jaejoong reaction. “….” Jaejoong still in his wonderland. “Jae?” Yunho stand up and walks towards Jaejoong then tapped his shoulder. “Owh? Huh?” said Jaejoong.  He just returns from his wonderland. “I’m sorry. What you’re saying again?” “This dish is edible, let’s eat.” answered Yunho then went back to his seat which is in front of Jaejoong. “Ah..ne…” answered Jaejoong the start eat it. Yunho just stare at his pretty wife, with worried face, afraid of Jaejoong comments and critic.  Now Yunho know how all the contestants in Masterchef feel while waiting their dish to be judge.  Jaejoong on the other hand take a second bite, munch it slowly and have the judge-like–face.  The thinking face that try to guess the ingredient.   Then Jaejoong face Yunho. “This is nice, Yun.  I don’t know you can cook.” smile Jaejoong. “Yeah me too. I’m glad you like it.” said Yunho.  Now he know what Jaejoong’s feel this morning when he said the exact same word as Jaejoong said when he compliment Jaejoong’s cooking.  “Then eat as much as you want.” Jaejoong just smile and nod.  Not really chatting while eating, both of them just eat, drink and secretly stare at each other.  Jaejoong feels awkward but he likes it. Yunho also feels the same. After finish eating, Jaejoong help Yunho cleans the dishes.  “Wow, Yun. what’s exactly happen here?” asked Jaejoong when he looks at the burned pot in the sink, food at the trash bin also the mess in the cabinet and  their fridge. “Well…. I’ll clean up later. Please don’t mad at me.  I know how much you love your kitchen.” “Hehe.. I’m not mad Yun, I just wonder how my kitchen turns up like this.” chuckled Jaejoong. “Well…this is what happens when someone named Jung Yunho cooks.  The pot’s burn is due to me watches the video for the next step but suddenly I see some interesting video beside it and I’m kindly being hook by it.” explained Yunho. “The food in the trash?” “Well…that is experimental food.  I don’t want to serve you food that not just look like shit but taste like one too and the mess…” Yunho can’t finish his sentence when Jaejoong interrupt him. “Let me guess, the mess is due to you want to find the ingredient, right?” Yunho just nod while Jaejoong shook his head.  “I never imagine cooking this dish can make all this mess..hehe” laughed Jaejoong. “Don’t laugh at me.  I know I’m not a good cook.” pouted Yunho. “Thanks for the dinner, Yun.” Jaejoong hug his hubby.  Make Yunho stiff.
