Fifteen minutes left before Yunho gets into his plane and leave for Japan. Jaejoong, HaRin, MinGi and Changmin were already at the airport waiting for Yunho to board into his plane. Yoochun’s car has just passed the security and he immediately found a space for parking. Once Yoochun cut off the engine, MinYoung flew out of the car and ran inside the airport. Junsu, AeRin and Yoochun ran after MinYoung; worried that she might get lost and that they might miss the upcoming confession that’s about to happen. Ten minutes left. MinYoung has never run this fast in her entire life. She even came last in her class when they had track and field during high school; she couldn’t even catch up with Yunho. MinYoung had to stop in her tracks as she was starting to get lost. She craned her neck up to find Yunho. Her friends also stopped in their tracks and joined MinYoung in searching. Then, Yoochun caught a familiar figure. “There he is!” he pointed and everyone followed his finger. They saw Yunho grabbing his bags and hugging everyone goodbye. MinYoung smiled in relief and ran again.“Go, MinYoung-ah!!” they cheered. “Yunho oppa!!!” Yunho has just hugged MinGi goodbye when he heard someone shouting his name. When he turned around, he saw MinYoung running towards his direction and jumped over him, enveloping him in a tight hug. Thrilled, Yunho dropped his bags into the ground and hugged MinYoung back. “I can’t believe you’re leaving without saying goodbye!!” MinYoung cried.Yunho soothingly caressed MinYoung’s back, “I knew you would be crying like this. I didn’t want to leave with a memory of you crying.” MinYoung let go of the hug and carelessly wiped her tears away. Yunho helped her and cradled her face into his hands. Yoochun, Junsu and AeRin caught up and stood beside the others as they watch MinYoung and Yunho. “Before you leave.. ” MinYoung sniffled. “There’s something you should know.” Yunho remained silent and waited for MinYoung to talk even though he knows where their conversation was going. “During.. When we were young, there’s.. I had a small crush.. on you,” MinYoung began. “Then that.. feeling, it began to grow when.. when we got older. I thought it was not that big,” MinYoung tears were threatening to fall again. “When you were in America, I thought that the feeling has vanished.. And that it was not a big deal.. For me if you looked at the other girls.. But then the feeling began to grow back.. I thought it was gone but it didn’t.. It was still there,” MinYoung smiled through her tears. “I’m in love with you, Yunho oppa. I always have,” MinYoung whispered, her tears still falling. Yunho felt happy upon hearing MinYoung’s last words. “I..” “Flight JN3-159 to Japan, please proceed to gate 5 for boarding,” an attendant announced. MinYoung looked over to the left and they were already standing near gate five. MinYoung faced Yunho again only to see him gathering his bags. “I have to go,” he said slowly. Their friends who have been watching them were trying to figure out how to make Yunho stay for a while so they could hear his side after MinYoung’s confession. “He can’t yet.” Suddenly, at the blink of an eye, MinYoung gathered all her courage, held Yunho’s face and crashed her lips into his. Their friends gasped at the sudden move made by MinYoung. However, Yunho showed no signs of responding back. MinYoung slowly pulled away but Yunho just stared back at her. “I’m sorry,” MinYoung apologized as she withdrew her hand from his face.“I really have to go,” Yunho whispered. Yunho turned her back away from MinYoung and placed himself in line, ready to board his plane. MinYoung stood speechless, embarrassed of what she has done and felt hurt that Yunho has rejected her. MinYoung covered her face with her hands and cried harder. Her friends wanted to approach her and comfort her but they were afraid to even touch her in a fragile state. It was goodbye for her. “You need her and she needs you, too. You want her and obviously she wants you for a long time. All these years, you never really loved anyone aside from her and I’m sure she is the same. You kept her waiting ever since,” she told him. “Who are you talking about?!” Yunho demanded. “I’m talking about your best friend.” - - - “Any girl will have a hard time loving you, oppa. Your ex-girlfriends were just dumb enough to cling onto you. I guess YoungHee got tired,” MinYoung told him.“Then why aren’t you getting tired of me?” he suddenly asked. “I’m different from them because I actually love you.” - - - “I didn’t care about those girls that you’ve gone out with because I know that one day; you’ll become smart and marry someone that you and I can be proud of. Someone like MinYoung,” Yunho looked up at his father who was in the verge of crying. “You see that girl? I know she can change you to becoming a better person.” - - - “So how long does he want you in Japan this time?” MinYoung casually asked, not letting go.“About a year.” “That’s not long, right?” MinYoung placed her chin on his shoulder. Yunho shook his head.“You will still wait for me, right?” Yunho looked over to his shoulder only to realize what he has done: their faces were a few centimeters away from each other.  - - - “You’re freaking in love with MinYoung and so is she to you!” Yoochun immediately answered. Yunho silenced.“What made you think that?” Yunho whispered.“Hyung, I’m not the only one who thinks that. Everyone BELIEVES that you both do,” his friend said. - - - Yoochun interrupted Yunho’s thoughts by letting out a heavy sigh, “If you would just stop resisting then maybe you would’ve seen MinYoung who’s been right in front of you all the while. Hyung, she has been waiting ever since.” Yunho’s eyebrows were knitted together as scenes of his last five days went through his mind. Then he questioned himself, “Have I always been in love with MinYoung?” “Stop resisting, hyung. Stop being a coward, hyung.” Yoochun’s exact words hunted him from the back of his mind. Yunho began to debate with himself whether he should turn around and tell MinYoung about his true feelings for her or should he wait for a year to confirm everything to him. “May I have your ticket and passport, sir?” Yunho was brought back to reality and realized that he was already in front of a flight attendant. He reluctantly gave his passport and plane ticket to her. As the flight attendant checked his papers, Yunho drummed his fingers on the counter. “Could you hold on for a second? I’ll be right back,” he told the flight attendant. Not waiting for the flight attendant’s reply, Yunho turned around and made big steps towards MinYoung. In one swift movement, he pulled MinYoung into his arms, held her by the face and crashed his lips onto hers. MinYoung was surprised at the sudden contact of their lips before slowly closing her eyes and deepening the kiss. Yunho held MinYoung firmly but carefully close to him and savored the moment. Their friends cheered loudly causing other people to look at them as if they were a bunch of crazy kids. Yunho slowly pulled away and smiled at MinYoung. “I love you so much, MinYoung-ah,” he whispered under his breath.“I love you, too, oppa~” MinYoung said back. “Flight JN3-159 to Japan, please proceed to gate 5 for boarding,” the attendant announced once again. “You have to go now, oppa~” MinYoung told Yunho.“Now you’re sending me off? Aren’t you going to beg me to stay?” Yunho teased. MinYoung laughed.“As much as I want you to stay, you have to get on that plane and come back in one year.” “You’ll really wait for me?” Yunho asked, caressing her cheeks.“Of course,” MinYoung sweetly smiled. Contented, Yunho gave MinYoung one last kiss. “You guys take care of her for me,” Yunho shouted to their friends who nodded and gave thumbs up to him. Yunho said one last goodbye to MinYoung before getting his passport and ticket from the flight attendant and boarded the plane. ~•♥•~
