Track #5 (1/1)

SEOUL ON THE RADIOWritten by:13ISMYNUMBERTRACK #5Cunning Wolf“Fear, guilt, hurt. It has all consumed me but who knew that something so ugly could be so beautiful?”More than a week has passed since Soul’s live performance and Sarang was happy with the feedback she had been hearing around the campus. She mentally smiles and pats herself whenever she hears someone talk about it and puts a positive note about it. It would’ve been all rainbows and unicorns if not for the fact that she had met him, Luhan Xi.The one person she had been avoiding, and had been successful in doing so up until recently and to make matters worse, she panicked like a pig being slaughtered. She met him and he doesn’t even know who she is. She doesn’t know if it was a good thing that he never knew who she really was or a bad thing but she brushes it off, hoping she’ll never bump into him again.Right now, her focus is finishing two papers that are due in a few days, which is why she’s in the library instead of the cafeteria eating lunch like all the other normal students. She tucks her hair behind her ear as she walks pass different isles, searching for one in particular, in the library. Just like majority of the facilities in Seoul Royal Academy, the library was not neutral ground. She enters one isle and skims the book spines. Her fingertips stop on one particular book and she grabs hold of it, happy that she easily found her reference book for her paper in Literature. She turns on her heel, ready to walk back to where she came from when upon looking up; her hand flew to her mouth as the book fell on the ground with a thud. She was frozen in shock.Jongin Kim was leaning on the book shelf and staring at her with a smirk.“Little Red.” Jongin greets her, his playfulness dripping on every word.Oh, how she hated that pet name.“What are you doing here?” Sarang grabs her book from the floor swiftly. “This is the Royal East’s Library! In case you didn’t know, boys aren’t supposed to be here!” She shouted in a whisper, her annoyance showing.Jongin grins and chuckles at her. “Aww. Are you worried that I’ll get in trouble?” He says, trying to be cute in front of her.“I could care less if you get in trouble. I just don’t want to be caught in it.” Sarang says as she tries to pass Jongin by but he blocks her path.“It’s not like we’re making out in the middle of the library.” Jongin annoys her even more. She doesn’t know why but Jongin has a way with words and into pulling on her strings, annoying the hell out of her. She breathes, trying to calm herself down and preventing herself from smacking the book in her hand on Jongin’s head.“Move.” Sarang managed to say. Her tone was bossy and icy at the same time.Jongin stands his ground. “Don’t worry, I have a pass. Told the librarian I need a particular book.”“And she bought your lie?”“It wasn’t a lie. My teacher in music did refer me to go here.” Jongin says, suddenly taking out a book from the shelf next to them and showing it to her. She rolled her eyes, still thinking he was lying until she read the title of the book and found out it was really about music.“Whatever.” Sarang says, stepping aside once more.“Anyway, I’ll see you at the dance studio, Little Red.” Jongin says as he begins to skim through the other books on the shelf. Sarang stops on her tracks and stands next to him. She remembers that she never got an answer as to why he was there in the first place.“Why were you there?” Sarang questions.Jongin continues to skim through the book until he grabs one and scan through it. “My studio is one door down next to yours.” He says nonchalantly. It surprised Sarang, simply because all this time she thought she was the only one using a room in the third floor of the old building.“Really?” She asks unbelieving
