Track #2 (1/1)
SEOUL ON THE RADIOWritten by:13ISMYNUMBERTRACK #2Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust“The truth is like a dangerous fire. It leaves you with nothing but ashes and burns you couldn’t cure.”Sarang felt exhausted. Sehun had been breathing down her neck to practice for the live performance for the past three days. He apparently want to do everything as live as possible and even got a band, he too would be performing with her by helping with technical sound system. She was told there would be another performance besides hers and she was allowed to sing a maximum of three songs. Sehun made the decision of just singing two as to not exhaust her as she play DJ for the rest of the night after the other performance.Practices had taken up much of her sleeping time and she wouldn’t have gone to school today, a Friday, if not for the fact that she had a long exam in History class.Sarang sighs as she open all the lights in the abandoned dance studio.Despite having one of the grandest facilities a school could have, Seoul Royal Academy has a couple of rooms in an old building that have been abandoned. It is found in the East side but it practically is a neutral ground since the radio station is found in the first floor and Sehun, coming from the West, and Seajin, coming from the East, usually do their thing there.Seajin, not so long ago, showed her this abandoned dance studio and she was able to buy a keyboard. This is usually where she stays and makes music if not in her home. Though a tad bit dangerous since it is still in the school premises, she likes to think that no one really bothers to come up to the third floor of an old building. Her duffle bag lands on the floor with a thud and she stares at herself in the mirror for a second. She stretches her arms up to awaken her body from exhaustion before heading towards her keyboard.Majority of her music, mostly start with a few random notes on the keyboard and she later on just adds the guitar, drums and sometimes, the violin. But despite her love for the party kind of music, something that goes with electro house music, every now and then she finds herself working on the kind of music that she has little talent for: ballad. Her fingertips slowly press themselves on the cold keyboards as she reads through the notes that she had previously made. She had been working on this ballad for a month now and all she has written was the first verse. The intro begins and she takes a deep breath as she begins to sing.Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
No matter what I say or do I'll still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone. Her eyes lift from the keyboard and onto the mirror in front of her. Her hands automatically fly away from the keys and she gasps in shock.#There, right behind her, leaning on the doorframe and smirking was Jongin Kim.“What on earth are you doing here?” Sarang fumbles with her words as she abruptly stood up and face him.His smirk stretches into a smile as he tries not to laugh. “You seem so shocked as if you were caught doing something bad.” He taunts her.You have no idea. Sarang wants to tell him.Jongin walks towards her, hands in his pockets, and continuous to say, “I never knew you could play.”“That’s because you don’t know me.” Sarang says with a snap.Jongin Kim was known for his confidence, on and off the dance floor. There was just something about him that make people turn to him and give way whenever he’s around. Whatever it was, Sarang was being held captive by it and it annoyed her.“Oh, I do.” Jongin says, his smile never leaving his lips, “you’re one of the girls who was seating with Seajin during lunch time. Sarang Kwon, right?”How Sarang hates that he remembers her.“Yes.” Sarang answers shortly, wishing that he would go away and she could pack up and leave as well. There was no way in hell she was staying and letting him listen to her music.“If I may say so, you play the piano really well.” Jongin compliments her as he continuous to walk, slowly encircling her. This irritates Sarang and she does not hold back on her sarcastic comment.“You have a confidence of a Greek god,” She scoffs, “I bet you also have vices like one.”Jongin laughs and annoys Sarang even more. “Are you calling me a player?” Jongin questions as he stops in front of her.She decides not to answer his question and starts to push him away, “Why are you here? This is an abandoned building.”“I could ask you the same thing.” Jongin says, his eyes pier
