Chapter 2 (1/1)
Chapter 2 After my 5 hour flight I had finally landed in South Korea. It wasn't a long flight but I had a fear of heights so I hated flying. I got used to over time but I still wasn't completely okay. I had landed in Incheon Airport and like any airport it was busy, even in the middle of the night. As I waited in line to grab my luggage I noticed there was hoards of girls crowding the entrance of the airport. They had banners and they all looked like they were in high school. It was 4 am and they were awake at this time? I shook my head, grabbed my luggage and proceeded to find a seat as I waited for someone from LK Agency to pick me up. They sent me instructions that said they would call me when they arrived and I should just stay put, and so I did.In the meantime I decided to call my parents and tell them I landed safely. I dialed the number and waited for my mother to pick up."Hello? Dara, how are you?"I smiled hearing my mom’s voice. She was such a drama queen, she already sounded very anxious and I had only been gone for less then 6 hours, "Yes, mom. I'm fine. I just landed and I'm waiting to be picked up."I played with my bracelet as she told me to stay safe and to make sure I called her when I arrived at the agency."Mom, honestly I will be fine I mean South Korea is statistically one of the safest cities.""Do you think that's what I care about? Statistics? Do you think statistics will help bring you back when you are raped or kidnapped!" I moved my phone away from ear and let her go on a rant. I knew this would take a while so I waited till I heard silence. "Yes mom I understand, you're right.""Okay," she sighed, "Just make sure you promise to call me and we should have a Skype date soon."I should have never told her about the existence of Skype. Now she would demand I Skype her everyday. "Mhm, bye mom."I hung up my phone and looked at my screen. I opened my messages, and still there was no new message from him. That was weird he knew when I arrived, he should have texted me by now. I was going to text him when I got a call. It was from LK Agency. I picked it up immediately.I cleared my voice. "Hi, Sandara speaking."A man with a deep voice greeted me. “Hi Sandara, this is Manager Yoon from LK Agency.”“Nice to meet you Mr. Yoon.”“Yes, nice to meet you too. I’m suppose to pick you up right now I just don’t know where you are.”I glanced at my surroundings; I really had no idea where I was either since this was my first time in this airport. “I’m on the first floor and…” I paused. Seriously how was I suppose to explain to him where I was? This floor was huge.“Sandara…” I heard his voice.“Oh sorry, I’m on the first floor next to the washrooms and I’m really close to a whole crowd of girls with banners.”“Oh I know exactly where you are. I will be there shortly.”He hung up and in a couple of minutes a tall lanky man with glasses was by my side. “Sandara, nice to meet you.”I stood up and greeted him. I was surpirsed, his description did not match his voice. “Thank you. How did you know who I was?”He smiled, “Well of course I would know who you are, we do have your files at the office and in those files are your pictures.”“Oh right…” I was so embarrassed. I was in a swimwear in some of those photos because they wanted to see my proportions.“You must be tired. Please follow me.”Mr. Yoon grabbed one of my luggage’s and started to walk. I grabbed the other one and followed him. As we passed by the hoard of girls I could finally see their banners and they were all written in Korean…which I sucked at. My mother taught us the language but she never really taught us how to read it. Before I could decipher what they said Mr. Yoon opened the exit and lead me outside. There was a black tinted mini van parked. He opened the trunk and placed the luggage he was holding in the back.Mr. Yoon opened the door and motioned me to go in. He grabbed my other luggage before I stepped inside. I closed the door and that’s when I heard it. Screaming. Wait I couldn’t even define that as screaming. It was more along the lines of high pitched shrieking. My heart started beating furiously. This was it. I was going to die here. North Korea was attacking. I should have listened to my Mom. I quickly opened the door and jumped out. That’s when I saw them. I heard the screaming and the flashes from various cameras. It was them. All five of them, walking quickly, head down, as the hoards of girls split like the red sea to make way for them.I couldn’t even tell who was who because they quickly went inside their cars and their faces were covered with masks, sunglasses, headwear and they were surrounded by fans. There were two black tinted vans that looked just like Mr. Yoon's parked a couple of feet away from where I stood. They were safely inside them now and the bodyguards started shoving the crazy fans away from the car. It all ended so quickly. They were gone from my sight in a second and all that was left now was crying fan girls. “Sandara?”I snapped out of my daze and saw Mr. Yoon staring at me.“Uh yes sorry. I’ll go back inside.”I got back inside the car, and just sat there waiting for Mr. Yoon to get to the front. He entered, reminded me to put on my seatbelt, and started driving. He glanced at me from the rear view mirror, “You look a little startled. Sorry, you had to see that. It’s your first time in South Korea and you witnessed this. It must be a shock for you." He chuckled. "You know kids these days, going crazy over celebrities. That's actually how I knew where to find you. As a manager I knew BIGBANG was arriving today from Japan and when you said you were next to a lot of girls with signs I had a feeling they must have been there for BIGBANG.” I just saw BIGBANG. Talk about my luck.Mr. Yoon contiued, "When you become a celebrity you will be having a lot of fans like that.”I laughed, “I doubt it.”And to be honest half of me, if I ever became that famous, didn’t want that. I didn't mind having fans. I always told myself if I ever got any that I would work my hardest to please them because without them I would amount to nothing...but I also liked my personal space.I understood with fame comes the consequences. I don’t know how BIGBANG dealt with all of that. It was only 4 am, it must get a lot worse in the day. I didn't think it was right. The airport really wasn’t the time or place for that.“No, no, listen Sandara, you have a very pretty face. I’m sure all of South Korea would want you as their model.”I smiled. “Thank you, honestly. You’re too kind.”Our conversation stopped after that and it was a quiet car ride. I glanced out the window most of the time and tried to take in my surroundings. There wasn't much to see because we were on a highway. I slowly drifted off to sleep and was awoken when Mr. Yoon opened the door of the van.“We’re here now.” A/N: Hi my lovely readers. I wasn't planning on writing this chapter so soon. I was going to do it during the weekend. But I got so many subscribers and wanted to thank you guys so I gave you this. Please vote this up and also comment. I would love to hear your thoughts. Reading comments is the best thing an author could ask for. Originally Dara wasn't suppose to meet BIGBANG in this chapter, but new ideas always pop into my head lol that's why it was so quick. She will meet them again soon. Especially our Mr. G-Dragon ;) Also I'm trying to be realistic and use stuff the real Dara has said before. I know she was scared of airplanes in 2ne1TV. So you will probably see some of those facts and tidbits pop into the story. But along the way I might make up some stuff to make this Dara 'mine' (that sound's so creepy lol)
