Misunderstandings and Che (1/1)

www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSn81RDFGnc *************You were walking outside to the garden. You patted your flat stomach, full and happy from all the sweets. The weather today was very nice, it was autumn time and the trees were ablaze with golden, yellow and red leaves. A leaf landed on your light pink dress and you softly brushed it off.Suddenly, you bumped into a figure. You lost your balance, but the person caught you before you fell."Oh, Kevin!" He put you on your feet and steadied you. The two of you sat on a bench underneath one of the trees. Kevin turned his head to look at the beautiful sight of the garden. You looked at him. This felt somewhat like a dream to you, sitting there with this magnificent scenery all around you, next to Kevin. The most enchanting boy you had ever met, so handsome. Sometimes infuriating and arrogant, but secretly sweet and caring. You smiled. It felt too perfect to be real. But perhaps that was how Neverland was always like?"Kevin, about what happened with Kiseop, it doesn't really matter" you said.He nodded, not looking at you."I don't know why you acted like that, but please don't be mad at him just for that small thing." You didn't want Kevin's relationship with Kiseop to get even worse. "He was just being friendly, I suppose. You don't have to worry about it."Kevin listened to you silently as you defended his brother."Did you... like it?" he looked at you. "Did you like him touching you like that?" You looked at him, surprised."You did, didn't you?" You were at a loss for words. *Did I?* you wondered."So it's Kiseop, the one you like," he said with an hushed voice. You saw sadness in his eyes. *He doesn't like me, why should he be upset?*"Kevin, you don't-"And then he was gone. You were staring at the empty seat on the bench. A hollow feeling spread through you, as if a part of you had just left with him. You sighed. "You don't understand," you whispered into thin air. "I don't know who means more to me."****************Kiseop sat behind the tree, reading his book. He had heard every word that had been exchanged by the two of you. Or lack thereof. He shook his head.*Both of you have so much you want to tell one another, but you're scared to admit your own feelings.*He got up and sat down on the bench next to you. "Kiseop..." You hadn't expected to see him there. He smiled. "Why the long face? Don't tell me you aren't feeling well after all that candy.""No, it's not that." You didn't feel like talking to anyone at the moment, even him."Aww come on, smile. You being like this is putting me in a bad mood," he tickled you.You laughed and gave a small smile. "Do you still remember the wish you owe me?"You tilted your head."If you found the library, which you did, I said I'd grant you a wish," he smiled."Oh..." you remembered now. "Really?" He nodded. "Okay. My wish would be... you'd have to make me smile for the whole day!"Kiseop laughed. *That's so easy. Anything can make her happy.*"Alright," he agreed. "You have to give me your entire day, and I promise you your wish will be fulfilled."With that, he grabbed your hand and the two of you disappeared.****************The two of you appeared in a crowded markeplace that looked like a carnival. It looked like it was set back in the Middle Ages. You watched fairies hurrying around, children were playing on the streets, there were stalls for games and food."What are you waiting for? I didn't bring you here to watch others have fun, but for you to experience it. Come on!" Kiseop pulled you along enthusiastically. You had never seen this active, hyper side of Kiseop before. It seemed like he really liked fairs and carnivals.Kiseop took you around the different stalls. He bought you food, a big, adorable toy rabbit. He also bought you a book, Peter Pan. The whole time he took you around, the two of you were laughing and running around like little kids. It wasn't the fact that he had bought you all those things that had made you happy, but that he had spent so much time with you, and had done what he had promised to do. He managed to make you smile when you were feeling down."Come on," Kiseop said, pulling you along. "There's something I want to show you."He took you to a store that had sold antique goods. It was very old, yet very well cared for. The shop was small, clean and had a homely feel to it. There were huge stacks of books in neat piles in the corners, as well as on shelves, and old furniture everywhere. You loved rare, old things like these. Whether it was books, jewelry, clothing, or places, they had a sense of special importance. You looked around with interest. Kiseop let you explore around the shop for a while, watching you with a smile on his face.He brought you to a corner of the shop. There, inside a small glass case, you saw a collection of old jewelry."They're so pretty," you said with awe, looking through the case. One piece in particular caught your eye. An old but beautiful, thin diamond bracelet with blue gems decorating it.Kiseop stretched his hand out, passing through the glass. He gently picked up the diamond bracelet and passed it out through the glass."Kiseop!" you said, shocked. "Don't take it, it's not ours!"Kiseop chuckled. "I'm a prince. Everything in Neverland, my brothers and I own. Besides, this belonged to my mother, I asked the shopkeeper to keep it safe for me here."He took your hand and fastened the bracelet onto your wrist. "Here, this is my gift to you." "Really?" You couldn't believe that he was giving such a precious bracelet to you. It had belonged to his mother, the queen, after all. "Kiseop, I can't accept this," you stammered. "It's much too important to you and your family.""You're like family to us already. You've lived with us for months, you understand us and we all get along so well," he said, taking your hand again and guiding you to a couch."So, I'm like a sister to you?" "No," he said quickly. "I'll never consider you as a sister.""Oh," you felt slightly disappointed when you heard that. *I guess we're not as close as I thought we were.*"You're too special for me to think of you as a sibling. You're too pretty, too sweet and kind for me to not have feelings for you. If I could only make one last wish for the rest of my life, it would be that I was the one who had claimed you first," he said."Kiseop..." You were speechless. Was he really confessing to you?He smiled and closed his eyes. "But I suppose that would be a very difficult wish to fulfill, wouldn't it?"You softly studied him. "What do you mean?"He shook his head. "Nothing, I'm sorry. It's probably best if we leave it at that, I've said too much already." You didn't understand him, did he care for you, or were you mistaken? He got up. "Let's go home, shall we?" He walked over to the door of the shop and held it open for you.You stood up and followed him, taking one last look at the shop before going out. The two of you appeared back outside the castle beside the bench you had sat on earlier that day. It was already evening. "Freshen up, then join us for dinner," Kiseop said, seeing your cheerful expression. He gazed at you as you walked inside the castle.*Am I going too far? Should I just let Kevin have you?*But Kiseop was determined to at least try, for he hoped that you might one day love him too. *What would life be if we have no courage to attempt anything?*You skipped back to your room. You hadn't done that in a while, skipping. In fact, you hadn't done many fun things since your parents had died. But now that you were in Neverland, you were slowly becoming happier and more free.Your heart hadn't made its choice yet. You knew now that you had feelings for Kiseop, and for Kevin too. These feelings were growing little by little each day. But who you cared about the most would be revealed in time.
