Tears (1/1)

Snowflakes began to drop, and soon the ground was a mass of white. Being a fairy, he could withstand such terrible weather. Kevin lost his balance for a second on the dangerously slippery ground.*Eli,* he thought grimly, knowing that it was probably the brother who had the least control over his emotions was probably the cause of this. *I have to find her quickly, she can't withstand this weather. But how will I find her now?*He could barely see a few feet in front of him. He had tried sending warmth to you, but none of his magic worked at that point. Wishing, he warmed himself up and continued searching, refusing to give up.*____, where are you?* **************You sneezed and pulled your blanket closer to you.*Babo,* you scolded yourself. *I wouldn't have gone out today if I knew it would be like this.*You couldn't believe you had forgotten about the weather, no doubt the princes had found out you had left, their moods would have changed. The world was dark all around you, and you had to stop because you could no longer stand the cold.*I have to find shelter.* Raindrops fell quickly, dripping all over your face and the blanket that covered your body. Soon, you were all wet.You stood up, stuffing the now wet blanket into your backpack, and started walking. You slipped and fell, hitting the ground with a thud. Looking down, you realized that the ground was slippery, not from water, but from snow. *It's getting worse.* The snow kept falling, reaching your knees. You got up again and slowly made your way forwards, not knowing where you were going. But what you were sure of was that if you didn't keep going forwards, you would die from the cold. Shivering, you trudged on, refusing to stop. You walked on for what felt like an eternity, until your legs finally gave way. You collapsed onto the snow. You couldn't stop shaking, your lips were turning blue. You could not longer feel your body. The only thing that you could still function was your mind, and even that was slowly fading away.*Kiseop can't save me now. At least I if I die here, Hwa Young would never know. I hope she lives a much happier and longer life than mine.*You couldn't feel any pain, just coldness. You were aware of your consciousness slowly leaving you. You felt lightheaded and dizzy. You were content that you had at least tried to get back to your sister. You knew that the chances of surviving were slim. But you weren't afraid this time.*I wish Kevin was here with me, like in my dream. I wish he could give me his warmth and save me, just like last time. I should have listened to him and not run away, but nothing can be done about that now.* *Kevin, I'm so sorry...* ***************He made a wish and his eyes changed colour. This time, it was not red like how he naturally changed it, but blue. Everything he set his eyes on, he could see crystal clearly even though he was still in the dark. He glanced around, searching for you.Making another wish, he could detect warmth in the cold heat. Somewhere nearby, he could feel it inside him, a sense of life. It was weak, like a dimming light about to go out.*Please let it be her...*He appeared next to the warmth and bent down, stretching his arms out. To his relief, he felt a body, and recognized your face. "____!" he shouted, pulling you into his arms. "Yah! Wake up! ____!" But you didn't answer. You were as cold as ice, almost dead.He pressed his palms on your cheeks and wished with all his might, but nothing happened. "Please wake up!" He tried wishing the both of you back to the castle, but while he was with you, nothing worked. He screamed with frustration. He had never cried before. Never. Even as a baby, he had never made a sound. There were things that made him angry, things that made him happy, but nothing to make him hurt so badly. He looked down at your lifeless body with disbelief. Your pale face was just inches away from his. No matter how much warmth he tried to give you, or how much he begged, you didn't wake up.In his arms was the girl who had been so full of life, who had smiled at him every day, who had, at first, been afraid of him, then so nice to him. She was the girl that was so important to him, his most precious treasure. He couldn't understand how she could just die like this."Don't take her away from me,* he whispered softly into the air. "After all the pain you've caused this world, caused my family and my people, please let her live a little longer. I'm begging you." The wind howled back angrily in his ears. The snow kept falling, and he held you. The two of you lay there in the darkness. The cold would have frozen you, but he kept you close, keeping you warm. Seeing you like this, he could feel nothing but pain. He cradled you in his arms, wishing over and over again.*This is all my fault, if it wasn't for my foolishness, you wouldn't be in such danger.* At that moment, he cried for the first time in his life. Tears slowly dripped down his face and fell onto yours. "____..."
