You’re the first female to ever say that to me.”“I didn’t say that either,” you teased him.The two of you reached his room and he gently put you down onto his bed. The two of you took turns washing up. When you were done, you sat down and crossed your legs while waiting for him. After a while, he walked out of the bathroom and sat next to you. The whole time, there had been something nagging him.“Hey, admit it, you think I'm handsome,” Kiseop commanded, smirking.“Wow, so demanding.” You smiled at him. "If you don't do it, I'll definitely do something to you." You hesitated, then remembered. "You can't. If you do, I'll tell Kevin and he'll get mad at you." Kiseop groaned. He knew his brother's temper, and he would prefer not to get in a fight so late at night. “Come on, say it, you know you want to.” “No way!”Kiseop smiled. An idea struck him. He started tickling you nonstop, making you laugh.“Stop that!” you squealed. You tried fighting back but you were laughing too hard. The two of you laughed and tickled one another, falling backwards on the bed. Kiseop landed on top of you, both of you smiling.“Admit defeat,” Kiseop grinned. You shook your head. He face slowly closed in towards yours. You realized the position that you were in, and your eyes widened. “Okay, okay! You’re extremely handsome, you look like a god!” you blurted. Kiseop blinked, and smiled. He pulled 8away and sat down next to you. You slowly got up."Kiseop, can I ask you something?" He nodded. "What is it?" "Why do you and Kevin dislike each other so much?" He didn't answer. "I'm sorry, I know it's not my business to ask," you said quickly. Kiseop sighed. "Our parents were very... formidable people. However, they loved us very much. When I was younger, my parents used to treat me very well. They preferred me over Kevin. The others didn't dare speak up against it, and neither did I. Kevin hated it. And as he grew older, he started to hate me. He hated that I was better at him at some things, and that our parents never acknowledged his successes. They didn't care about him as much. They saw him to be someone who wouldn't get very far in life, so they made no effort to care for him." "That's terrible," you said softly. You couldn't imagine how he must have felt. When you were younger, your mom and dad loved you and worried about you. *To have parents who didn't treat you like their child, didn't treasure you...* You looekd up at the ceiling, deep in thought. Kiseop noticed your solemn expression, and decided to lighten the mood. He made a silent wish. Suddenly, you sat up, startled. Your eyes were focused on the ceiling with amazement. It had changed. The night sky could be seen clearly from above, as if you were outdoors. Stars twinkled brightly and a full moon shone. You stared up, smiling. *How is this happening?* you wondered.Kiseop watched you look at the sky with wonder.“Will this distract you from sleeping? Do you want me to wish it away?”*Oh, he must have wiished it...* You shook your head fervently. “No, I like it like this. Thank you, Kiseop.”He smiled at you. The two of you lay down next to each other and just looked at the stars.“I love the night sky, it’s so enchanting. When I was younger, I had always wished that I could fly. To feel the wind in my hair, to experience that freedom,” you sighed with content at the thought.Kiseop looked at you. *I can sense her longing. Humans cannot fly like us, who can wish for it whenever we want to.*“Kiseop,” you said. “Can you sing me a song?”The question surprised Kiseop. “Would you like that? I'm not very good at singing, though.” "Please?" He nodded. It feels, It feels so right
My shaking heart is raising me up
In a world filled with darkness,
I ran without any fear
Just following your eyes, those eyes... “This song’s too sad.” You pouted.Kiseop thought for a while, and starting singing a different song. The most beautiful moment of my life is…
… When I loved you after meeting you
Now I know that you’re, the biggest gift of my life.
You smiled. This song was sweeter, the lyrics touched you. When Kiseop stopped singing, you clapped your hands.“That was amazing, thank you Kiseop,” you said.“Was I good?” Kiseop asked. He hoped that you had liked it.“Yes, you're too modest, you have a beautiful voice.” YouYour praise made him extremely happy, though he tried not to show it too much. The two of you watched the stars until you eventually fell asleep. Kiseop watched as your eyes slowly closed and smiled. *She must have been tired from today.* He leaned close to you, then backed away. *I could never hate my brother,* he thought. *But there are some things that I envy him for.* He pulled the blanket over you and went to sleep on the couch.
