The Second Boy (1/1)

After following him through several doors and finding yourself in a corridor again. This had been going on for almost hour."We're nearly there. Sorry, you'll get used to the place. Or in fact, the place will get used to you."He pulled you through another door. You saw another row of corridors again. You grew agitated. Just how many of these places were there? Kevin saw your expression and chuckled, amused at your frustration. *This human can be so simple-minded sometimes, thinking on only one level. It's adorable.*He was playing with you, purposely creating door after door so that you would get confused. Why? Because he found it funny. It didn't really occur to him that you wouldn't like it if you knew. He was never really good at caring about other people's feelings. That was just how he was.Sometimes, he would also get bored quickly at things others found interesting, and at other times he would find something others considered dull to be completely fascinating. He opened the last door, the real door, and ushered you through. You found yourself in a big dining hall. There was a glass table that stretched from one end of the room to another. The hall was decorated and painted gold, and so was almost everything in it.You looked up to see a magnificent crystal chandelier hanging high above the table, the pieces of glass on it sparkling. The table was full a large variety of food. The dishes were giant, mainly because there were so many things in them. You breathed a sigh of relief .You were completely awed by the sight in front of you, but you were glad to be able to rest. Your feet had begun to ache from all the walking.Kevin stood next to you and spoke to no one in particular, "_____, meet my brothers."Right in front of your eyes, as if they had been there all along, you saw six boys in the dining hall, each of them occupied with their own activities. One was sitting in an armchair and reading a book at the corner of the hall while stood by a window, looking outside. The four other boys were sitting at the table. One of them, a boy that looked younger than Kevin, was eagerly gobbling down the food. One was laughing at the boy and teasing him, another was looking at the youngest one with profound annoyance. The last one was merely sleeping, indifferent to the others. You stared. All six boys were gorgeous. Their faces were god-like, exotic and inhuman. Their features and bodies, perfect. In a way, they looked like normal boys, but from their auras and the atmosphere around them, you knew that they were possibly dangerous and powerful people. They were just like...You glanced at Kevin."Guys, she's here."All of a sudden, 6 pairs of eyes turned to you. You took a step backwards, uneasy from the sudden attention on you.The boy who had been sleeping stood up. He was glaring at you. You bit your nip, nervous. Although all the boys in the room intimidated you, you were especially afraid of him, but you tried not to show it. Kevin sensed that you were scared. "Don't worry, they're harmless," he assured you."Well, when they're in a good mood. Pretty much like me." Kevin shrugged."Yeah right, we all know your temper is the worst, hyung," the one who had been eating stuck his tongue out at Kevin.Kevin sneered. "Says the little dongsaeng who always throws a fit every time we don't play with him."The boy pouted, then resumed eating his food with indifference."That's Dong Ho, ____. He's our youngest brother." Dong Ho waved at you. You smiled, he was actually cute."That," Kevin pointed to the one who had had the disapproving look on his face earlier, "is Soohyun hyung. He's not the oldest, but likes to make sure we behave." Soohyun nodded at you and you smiled at him too."Hi, I'm Kibum," the boy who had been laughing earlier introduced himself. "Also known as the trickster of the family, aka the only one with a sense of humor around here. Do you like jokes and tricks, _____?" he asked eagerly. You gave him a shy nod."Yes!" he pumped his fist in the air with victory. "Finally, someone who isn't a killjoy."His brothers growled at him. "Yah!" causing him to shut up.You laughed. All of them turned back to you, surprised. Normally, people respected them and cowered in fear before them, no stranger had dared laugh at them before, nor smile so widely. *She's nice, I think she's friendly enough,* Dong Ho smiled back at you."Anyway, hi, I'm Alexander," the boy by the window greeted you. You bowed and said hello. You looked at the seven boys around you. The last two who hadn't introduced themselves look a little... intimidating. Sleeping boy was still glaring at you. Kevin sighed, he knew his brother's personality. "That's-""Eli," the boy said. "Hi," you said quietly. You flinched under his glare. For some reason, his glare made you feel like something had hurt you, piercing your skin. It felt like actual, physical pain. He was obviously not normal, none of them were, but something warned you to be especially cautious around him.*Oh god... what have I gotten myself into?*"I'm Kiseop." You turned to the last brother, who had been reading. Looking at him directly, you eyes widened. You saw the face of the other boy you had seen in your dream. The one who had fought with Kevin, wanting you to follow him instead. "Nice to see you again, _____."
