HERMES - CHAPTER 1 (1/1)
The five men of Big Bang, arguably world's biggest K-Pop boy band, touched down Incheon airport early morning. They just finished the Nagoya leg of G-Dragon’s One of Kind tour and despite being elated by the success of their concerts, the boys were also extremely tired. Unfortunately for them, the holiday season was already picking up, and despite being frequent fliers and perpetual transients of international airports, they were not prepared for the frenzy that greeted them at the airport. Upon their arrival the managers had to contend with missing luggage including Daesung's, Seung Hyun's, and half of the costumes used for the concert. They also faced security problems because aside from the volume of people arriving that morning, there was also a mass of VIPs gathered outside the arrival gates waiting to catch a glimpse of the internationally famous idol group. To say that the YG staff were distraught would be a grave understatement. Big Bang's leader, Kwon Jiyong, watched unamused as their managers and minders negotiated with the airline staff. He was fortunate that he found all of his luggage complete and in tact but the waiting around was getting to him. He just wanted to go home and get some well-deserved rest. Not being able to contain his annoyance anymore, he walked up to their company's staff and the airline personnel, leaving behind his trolley that contained all of his luggage a few steps behind. Apparently, their missing luggage had been bumped off the flight due to weight limits on the plane. The staff apologized profusely for their failure to inform the YG entourage before take off. "Look, can you just send us our luggage as soon as they arrive? And we expect proper compensation if anything is unaccounted for or damaged. It's the least you can do for this inconvenience that you have caused us," Jiyong told the panicked airline staff coolly. "Yes sir! We shall call you once your luggage arrives and I will personally call the management regarding proper compensation. Your company is a valuable client and we are extremely sorry for this inconvenience," the staff said giving all of the YG staff and Jiyong a 90-degree bow after exchanging contact numbers with the YG managers. "Now that's settled, can we go?" Jiyong said, no longer bothering to mask his annoyance. He turned back to his trolley only to find that his red Hermes HAC was missing from the pile. "What the hell?!" Jiyong shouted catching the attention of several passengers who were waiting for their luggage on the moving carousel. Nearly all his valuables were in that bag including his wallet, phone, several expensive jewelry, and his Macbook that contained all the tracks he was working on. "My bag's missing! Hyung, did you see anyone? Oh God, what has Korea turned into!" Jiyong asked Seung Hyun hyung who was eyeing the people surrounding them under his dark sunglasses. "Do you think a sasaeng fan took it, hyung?" Daesung asked as he too looked around for possible suspects. "Of course it was! That bag is famous! Everyone in Korea knows it's mine. I knew I shouldn't have had it featured on that magazine!" Jiyong said running his hand through his hair in frustration. "I dunno Ji. The people here don't seem to be the type who would do this. Most of them are elderly folk or families on vacation," Seung Hyun said as he observed the remaining people still waiting for their luggage. Their managers were also roaming around the arrival area asking airport security personnel if they saw someone take the over-sized and expensive luggage. Jiyong was looking around in panic when he saw a lady pushing a trolley full of luggage, and on top of luggage was an over-sized red Hermes HAC bag. My Hermes! To his members' surprise, the leader made a run for the lady and when she was within reach, he grabbed her arm roughly. "Ya! Give me back my bag!" he found himself shouting at the female stranger. "Excuse me?" The lady responded in English, confusion etched all over her face. "Yah, don't play dumb, miss. Look, just give me back my bag and I won't report you to the police. Oppa will even throw in a photo and an autograph, how about that?" Jiyong said desperately masking the exasperation in his voice. The lady cocked an eyebrow, eyes still hidden behind a pair of what Jiyong recognized as vintage YSL sunglasses. "I'm sorry, I think you got the wrong person. I don't know what you are talking about," the lady shot back in English, her voice clipped and evidently annoyed, as she jerked her arm away from Jiyong's grasp. But Jiyong was having none of it. He pulled her back roughly, gripping her tighter, not caring if they were already attracting the attention of several people. Just then, Daesung and Seung Hyun were beside him followed by Yongbae who finally retrieved his luggage from the carousel. "What's the matter, Ji?" Yongbae asked looking confused as to why his best friend was manhandling a stranger. "This fan stole my Hermes and she's denying it. I was being nice to her and I wanted to let her off easily but she's being a bitch about it," Jiyong ranted. "What the hell are you talking about?!" The female finally shouted in straight Korean which surprised Jiyong. "Hermes. Mine. Give it back," Jiyong said, shaking his head for a bit to keep him focused, his eyes have turned to slits due to his mounting anger. "Look here, mister," the lady said taking off her sunglasses revealing a very pretty face, with big round eyes, long eye lashes and perfect eyebrows. "I'm not your fan. I don't even know who the hell you are. Newsflash: you're not the only one who owns this kind of bag. All I know
