There wasn’t a part of his body that didn’t hurt.Yunho stirred as consciousness rushed through his prone form, flinching as the light from somewhere above him broke through the darkness that consumed him for what seemed to be a rather long time. He was silent and still for a moment longer before his eyes slowly fluttered open to take in his surroundings. He was in a hospital room, a fact that did not surprise him, and from the looks of things, he was in the hospital Donghae worked for. The room was quiet and had no signs of the rest of the team; his eyes lingering slightly at the rather large mirror on the wall to his left.Why anyone would put a mirror in a hospital room was beyond him.But then again it was his experience from the maternity ward case speaking.His gaze shifted when he felt a slight movement to his right; his eyes widening when he saw Boa perched on a chair, her arms folded on his bed and her head resting atop of them. She was fast asleep and looked so peaceful even if he was certain that the chair was uncomfortable to sleep in. It gave him some – okay, maybe a lot – of relief to see that she had come out physically okay from the case. He could remember Jessica successfully exorcising Joon Aejung before he’d lost consciousness and he was certain too that his capable team took care of the rest from there on.The children and her staff must be back in the orphanage now but still she’d stayed with him and the thought made Yunho smile, an action that was rather difficult to do considering the bandages on his face to match those he was sure were on his arms and legs and ribs.
