Minhos New Beginning (1/1)

29      Minho slapped Changmin across the face when he said those last words. Anger was written all over his face that soon turned into regret (for slapping the nice stranger that took him in while he was blacked-out) and then turned into sadness. Memories of Onew telling him that one day they would get marry and Minho wouldn't have to work in the greeting card company because he will make enough money to provide for the two of them for Minho to manage being a stay in housewife (erm, sorry for the term...). They had planned so many things in the future like how they would save up so they could get married in Piazza Duomo. They visited that during their European tour and it was located in Milan. Though, Onew's not sure if they accept gay marriages to happen in that historical cathedral, Onew was still firm about his dream to give Minho a memorable dream wedding. "Never say that again. You don't have the right to call me your future wife. You don't know me," said Minho, voice getting shaky because of all the nerve that builded up. Changmin was taken aback by how Minho responded to his last statement. He didn't know that it would enrage the latter so much that it would cause him to slap Changmin. "I-I'm sorry...I shouldn't have done that...I'll just leave now. Thanks for taking me in while I was out. I really appreciate it but I think I should really go now," said Minho. Minho started gathering his things and was about to go out of the apartment when a bolt of lightning struck and the power went out. The lightning had been followed by a loud crash of thunder causing Minho to yelp in surprise, dropping his things down. Changmin went to Minho's side, helping the other gather his things. "The storm isn't calm yet and according to the weather forecast, it won't be calming until tomorrow morning. It would be safer if you just stay in for the night..." said Changmin. Once his things were all gathered, Minho stood up to look at Changmin hesitantly. He doesn't know if he should take the man's offer or not. They just met each other after all. "Don't worry, I won't call my, uh...my future wife anymore. I'm sorry about that," said Changmin, sensing the tension that settled between them.If it wasn't for the dim light from the fireplace, Minho would have completely missed the sincerity that flashed through Changmin's orbs. The fire keeps on crackling and Minho wonders if he could give up this warm haven just to runaway from this nice stranger because he's afraid that he might end up telling him everything that happened between him and Onew. If that happens, he's sure that he'll end up crying again and crying is something he certainly doesn't want to do at the moment. He thinks that he already did so much crying and he certainly doesn't need more.Another crash of thunder boomed and Minho sighed in defeat. "Alright. Thanks for this...really, thanks a lot. And I'm sorry for slapping you," said Minho. Changmin beamed at Minho brightly and helped the younger settle his things in the spare room located across his own bedroom. He doesn't know how he went from wanting nothing to do with the boy to making him stay for as long as he wants. He doesn't know why but he feels that this boy is lonely and that he isn't fit to stay at home by himself. It's better to have the boy here than be bugged by his conscience later on. As predicted by Minho, he's now telling everything to Changmin. He started blabbering about how he and Onew met in the elevator and things started to flow smoothly from there. Minho also told Changmin how he kept on refusing to let Onew into his heart because he doesn't believe that love exists. This mention of his not believing in love led to him telling the other man all about his past and he cried more then Changmin comforted him and they slept together. Yeah, they slept together. Then Minho cried when morning came and he found himself naked on Changmin's bed. "I shouldn't be here. We shouldn't have done what we did last night. I'm sorry! It's a mistake!"Minho hurriedly got dressed as Changmin just sat on the bed, too sleepy to make up anything. Just when he saw Minho walking away from his apartment from the bedroom window did he realized that he needs to run after Minho because he definitely fell in love with him. So, not caring if he's only wearing his sweatpants (mind you, he's not wearing boxers underneath...), he ran out of the apartment to catch Minho before the younger could even reach the bus stop.  "Minho!" The said boy turned around and was surprised to find Changmin standing there shirtless. Without a warning, Minho was enveloped in a hug and the scent of the older boy filled his nostrils. Unfamiliar but comforting. It was so comforting  that he returned the hug."Don't walk away. I think I fell in love with you."  [A/N: Sorry if the events are fast and it seems like I'm rushing the ending. But I'm certainly not rushing the ending. This got so long when it was supposed to be just 10 chapters long. I don't like dragging it on anymore with insignificant events. Tomorrow, the final will be posted :) ]
