She watched as he slowly raised the gun and pointed it at her. "No..." She whispered harshly. "No! Why? Why did it have to be you?!" She screamed, her heart clenched painfully as tears slid down her face.

He said nothing, his face blank. His finger tightened on the trigger. "I'm not who you think I am."

"Was all this a lie? Was I just another mission for you? Answer me!" She took a step towards him, but stopped abruptly when he leveled the gun at her head.

"Don't move."

"Why? You're going to kill me anyway."  She stepped towards him, bringing herself a foot away from him. "If I were to die, I want to see the face of my murderer."

"I said, don't move." He replied, gritting his teeth.

"No."  She stepped even closer, stopping only when the muzzle of the gun grazed her forehead. "Go on. Shoot me." She looked up at him, eyes blazing with defiance.

Click. The sound of a safety catch being released echoed loudly. She chuckled hollowly and closed her eyes. "And to think I loved you."

He stared at her, hand trembling slightly.

"What are you waiting for?" She mocked and took another step closer, this time bringing her body flush against his. "Do it."

But he couldn't bring himself to squeeze the trigger. Screw his orders. He couldn't do it, not when killing her meant killing him. His arm dropped, the gun clattering loudly as it fell from his loosened grip. "No." He whispered.

"Why?" Her eyes were open, still wet with unshed tears.

"Because without you, there is no me." He murmured, arms coming up to pull her into his arms.

She went willingly, her sobs muffled against his chest. "What are we going to do?"

"We run." He looked down at her. "Do you trust me?"

She pulled back slightly and smiled. "Always." Rising slightly on her toes, she leaned forward to kiss him gently.

Bang!

She gasped, hands flying to her chest as pain filled her body. She turned her head slightly and caught a glimpse of a dark silhouette slipping away. "You..." She gasped, breath wheezing as her lungs began filling up with blood. Her knees buckled, but strong arms caught her and lowered her gently to the ground.

"No. No. No. NO!" He breathed, trying to stop the blood with his hands.

She raised a bloody hand to his cheek and cupped his face gently. "Don't cry." She whispered weakly. She slid her thumbs under his eyes, attempting to wipe away his tears, but only succeeded in smearing blood on his cheeks.

He grabbed her hand and held it tightly against his cheek. "This wasn't supposed to end like this. This wasn't supposed to happen!"

"Looks like we won't be having our forever," she whispered, eyes closing.

He shook her. "Yah! Don't close your eyes! Don't go!" He cradled her in his arms, head resting on top of hers.

She smiled weakly, her hand tightened gently against his cheek. "I want to see your eyes." He lifted his head slowly. "Ah, there you are. I—" Her breath caught in her chest and she coughed, blood spilling from her mouth.

"I...I love—" Her breath shuddered, her hand slipped from his face.

His eyes widened as he realized that she was no longer with him. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" His cry of anguish deafened the night as his head bowed over her still warm body.

"Come back." He whispered, tears falling onto her peaceful face. "Come back..." He cried softly, all the while rocking her body back and forth.

"Fany! Fany! Wake up!" Taeyeon said loudly, trying to shake Tiffany awake.

"Fany! Wake up! You're just dreaming." She shook her shoulders again. Tiffany shifted before bolting upright, hands flying to her chest.

"It's okay, it's okay. It's just a dream. You're okay." Taeyeon soothed, rubbing Tiffany's back.

Tiffany stared at her. "A dream?" She whispered.

Taeyeon nodded. "Want to talk about it?"

Tiffany opened her mouth to reply, but stopped when she felt something wet on her cheeks. Reaching up slowly, she wiped the tears away and glanced at Taeyeon, who looked concerned.

"I died." She murmured.

Taeyeon's expression softened and she reached over to hug Tiffany. She clung to her, wondering if this was an omen. She let out a soft sob and Taeyeon rocked her back and forth.

"It's just a dream. You're probably working too hard. Reading the script and trying to memorize lines every night before you sleep. The things you've been reading are probably appearing in your dream, that's all." Taeyeon said reassuringly.

But what I dreamed wasn't in the script. She thought, but seeing how worried her best friend looked, she said nothing.

"What time is it?" She asked, finally noticing that the sun was beginning to rise.

"A little after 5 am." Taeyeon replied, releasing Tiffany from her death grip.

"You should go back to sleep. We have to be up by 7, since our flight to Bangkok leaves at 8:30. Go to sleep." Tiffany said, shooing her out the door.

"Are you sure you're okay now?" She asked, mildly suspicious.

Tiffany nodded slowly. "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." She lied.

"Okay... Try to get some sleep." The door closed softly.

Tiffany sighed heavily and flopped face first on her bed. She remained that way for ten minutes before rolling over. She closed her eyes, trying to catch a little bit of sleep before manager oppa woke her up for the Bangkok flight.

Two Hours later in the van to Incheon International Airport:"Fany ah."

"Mmm...?"

Taeyeon glanced at her barely awake best friend. "You couldn't sleep, huh?"

Tiffany shook her head slowly. "I kept seeing myself dying. It felt so real..." She whispered, hand drifting to her chest.

"Ah... stop scaring yourself. Your imagination is probably playing a trick on you." Taeyeon reached over and poked her. She laughed when Tiffany squirmed in her seat. "See? You're still alive. Now stop being so gloomy, I want my brighter than mushrooms Fany Fany Tiffany back. Or I'll tickle you to death." She threatened, wiggling her fingers.

"Oh! Yah! Hajima~!" Tiffany pleaded, batting her hands away.

"Girls, behave yourselves." Manager oppa warned sternly, fighting to keep a smile off his face.

"Yeah, oppa~" They replied meekly, nudging each other playfully.

"We're here. Gaja."

Onboard the plane to Bangkok:

Tiffany settled comfortably in a window seat and pulled out her script, intent on using the five hours to memorize more lines. While she read, she scribbled notes and doodled on the margins. But no matter what she did, she couldn't bring her thoughts away from her dream. Knowing that she wouldn't be getting any more memorization done, she closed her script and stared out the window.

"Fany."

Tiffany turned her head, eyeing Taeyeon questioningly. "Hmm...?"

"Look at this." Taeyeon shifted her iPad towards Tiffany, whose eyes widened as she read the article displayed on the screen.

Rumor has it that the Big 3 have finally come together for a collaboration of a lifetime. Seoul Times has spotted Kim Woo Min, a rising producer and director, exiting YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment offices earlier today. It seems Kim Woo Jin is finally looking to make his debut in the filming industry. What is Kim Woo Jin and the Big 3 planning?

Stay tuned for the latest updates here on Seoul Times. Until next time~

"Mwo?! YG and JYP Entertainment?" Tiffany whispered loudly.

"Who do you think Kim PD-nim casted as the lead actor?"

"I don't know. I mean, Big Bang and 2PM in a drama together? It doesn't seem likely that he would choose to make his debut with idol actors." Tiffany said, giving Taeyeon an exasperated look.

"Well, it's not impossible. I mean, look at Dream High and Dream High 2. There were plenty of idols making their acting debuts in both dramas."

"Yeah, but would Kim PD-nim be suicidal enough to put idols from YG, SM and JYP together without creating the biggest scandal of the year?"

Taeyeon glanced at Tiffany suspiciously. "Why are you so set on denying the possibility that Kim PD-nim did cast idols from YG and JYP?"

"Because...because what are the chances that the media won't blow things out of proportion and create a tidal wave of hate and anti's? I'm worried about how this may affect all our images. I took on this role to give fans a new image of me, not to propel them into fanwars." Tiffany replied, genuine concern on her face.

Taeyeon smiled encouragingly. "The girls and I will always support you."

"I know." She smiled. Spirits renewed, she stared out at the clouds and slowly fell into a deep sleep.

"Fany! Wake up! We're landing!" Taeyeon nudged Tiffany.

"Mmm...araseo. I'm up." She mumbled, shifting in her seat.

"Gaja." Taeyeon got up, thanking manager oppa for getting their carryon bags. Tiffany followed sluggishly.

Once they piled into the van, Taeyeon's face adopted a curious expression. "So... who do you want as your leading man?"

"Mwo?! Aish, chincha..." Tiffany looked away.

"Come on, Fany ah~ Let's do ideal type world cup, SNSD style." Taeyeon pouted.

"Ah, wae geurae~" Tiffany protested.

She laughed, taking out her iPad. She played with it for a few minutes before turning in her seat to face Tiffany. "Who does Fany want as her leading man?" She asked her iPad childishly before shaking it.
