Chapter 10 (1/1)
The punched cheek on Sehun’s face was throbbing painfully. He had gone straight home after getting all his things from the classroom. He didn’t want to see anyone or talk to anyone but Baekhyun was always an exception. Now he was sitting on his bed waiting for Baekhyun to arrive so the other could make him feel better. Since he was able to help Baekhyun when he needed him, surely he would do the same for him. After a couple of minutes of waiting, his doorbell rang and there stood his friend in front of his door. “Took you long enough.” Sehun complained as he closed the door behind Baekhyun. Baekhyun gently placed his hand onto Sehun’s punched cheek and stared at it for a while before giving it a poke. “Ow! What the hell?!” Baekhyun casually made his way into the kitchen while dragging Sehun behind him and opened the freezer to get some ice. He placed a few ice cubes into a Ziploc bag and dabbed it softly at Sehun’s cheek. “Feel better?” he asked. Sehun took the bag of ice into his own hands and held it on his face himself. “Thanks…” They made their way up to Sehun’s room and sat on his bed. “Now tell me how you got punched in the face… twice.” Baekhyun laughed. Him laughing earned him a punch to his arm and a glare from Sehun but it was worth it. He couldn’t help but laugh when he saw that Sehun had a bruised cheek because he probably deserved it anyways. Sehun wasn’t your average male student in school. He was pretty much an asshole to everyone that didn’t have the name Byun Baekhyun. “The dumbass punched me cause he thought I was offering him some sex friends.” Sehun huffed, crossing his arms and pursing his lips. Laughter came out from Baekhyun’s mouth instead of words. Who knew Sehun’s personality would lead him to having a bruised cheek? “And why?” Baekhyun managed to say through his laughter. “CAUSE HE’S A DUMBASS!” Sehun shouted out loud. Baekhyun fell to his back and started rolling around the bed while holding his stomach. “Oh god, too funny!” He then quickly stopped laughing once something caught his attention on Sehun’s night table. He looked closer at it and noticed that it was a necklace that he had never seen before. It was shiny and silver. Sehun never wore any necklaces so Baekhyun knew it didn’t belong to him. He picked it up in his hands and held it in front of Sehun’s face. “Is this yours?” he asked while raising an eyebrow. There was silence as Sehun eyed the necklace for a while. What the hell? That’s not mine. Why is something like that h—Then he remembered. Remembered what happened last night and who was here. He knew who that necklace belonged to now. It wasn’t his. It was Luhan. Sehun grabbed the necklace out of Baekhyun’s hands and stuffed it down his shirt. Baekhyun looked at Sehun weirdly and tilted his head. “Since when did you wear necklaces? Your bed smells different too… d-did you bring someone over? ARE YOU DATING SOMEONE?!” Baekhyun asked. He reached under Sehun’s shirt and took the necklace out, eyeing it again. Then he saw some small, engraved words on the back of it. “Luhan” was written on it. “Who’s Luhan? Your girlfriend? Boyfriend? Did they sleep here? You let someone other than me sleep here? YOU’RE CHANGING SEHUN!” “Shut up for a second!” Sehun shouted making Baekhyun zip his mouth shut. “Jeez…” he took the necklace from Baekhyun and held it in front of his face. “This belongs to a stupid stalker. I let him sleep here last night because his car broke down.” Baekhyun couldn’t believe that Sehun would let a stalker sleep in the same room as him just because their car broke down. “You’re lying. He’s actually your boyfriend isn’t he?” Sehun pushed Baekhyun off the bed making him fall the ground hard. “DO NOT CALL THAT STUPID STALKER MY BOYFRIEND. HE IS NOT. HE WILL NEVER BE! I HATE HIM.” Once again only laughter came out from Baekhyun’s mouth. He could see that Sehun did like this Luhan a little bit, just a little. Even if Sehun said he hated him, no one would let someone they hate sleep over at their house, let alone sleep on the same bed. But he wasn’t going to say any of that to Sehun because he didn’t want to be thrown out of the window. Baekhyun would keep it locked up inside of him until Sehun realized it himself. Although it might take a long time, Baekhyun knew it would be worth to see his friend go through some changes. “Well as much as you hate him, you still have to return this to him.” Baekhyun said, pointing at the necklace. “Like hell I am. I don’t want to see him ever again.” Sehun muttered, tossing the necklace aside. Baekhyun sighed and picked it up. He grabbed hold of Sehun’s arm and pulled him out of his room and down the stairs, dragging him outside. “So where do you usually see this guy?” Baekhyun asked, pulling Sehun farther and farther from his house. “I’m not going to see him!” Sehun ripped his arm out of Baekhyun’s grasp and stomped towards his home. “What if this was something his dead grandmother gave him? I’m sure he’s looking all over for it. It might be something precious to him.” Those words caused Sehun to stop in his tracks and look back slowly at Baekhyun. D-Dead grandmother? Sehun was a sucker for things that involved family. He loved his family dearly and loved everything they gave him. Perhaps Luhan’s dead grandmother did give him that necklace. Perhaps he was looking everywhere for it. He couldn’t stand the thought of keeping something so special away from Luhan because of his selfishness. “Fine, let’s go find that stalker…”
