You grabbed a seat at the back of the class which was coincidentally diagonally behind them, but you didn't really care. People think you're friendly, but you're not. People think you're smart, but you weren't that smart. People thought you cared, but you don't. Your looks don't tell what you are on the inside."Good morning class." The teacher greeted, snapping you out of your thoughts.The teacher didn't wait for a greeting and start talking about some boring rules and regulations and some class behaviour stuff. You rested your head on your arm. Before you knew it, the teacher was blabbering on some cells stuff. "Hey." The guy beside you greeted. You noticed his presence and then continued doing your own things."Now, project with your partners on cells. I am going to read out the pairs." The teacher said and grabbed a sheet of paper on her desk.You waited on your seat nervously, hoping to do the project with someone you know."Shinyoung and..." The teacher called out."Xiumin." The teacher continued.You looked towards Xiumin, at the same time, he was looking at you. He waved and you just continued looking at the teacher."Hey guys, does any of you know Shinyoung?" Xiumin asked the group."She's known as the queenka, the beautiful Ice Princess. She doesn't like attention and didn't expect to be the queenka either." Suho said intelligently."To be honest, she is beautiful." Luhan said. Sehun just glared at him, he didn't like it when Luhan paid more attention to other people than him."Hyung~ Am I cute?" Sehun said trying to gain attention."Yes, you are." Luhan said, ruffling his hair. Sehun smiled at his anwer feeling satisfied."She's the queenka?" Xiumin scoffed as if it was a ridiculous thing he had heard. Soon, it was the end of lesson and you saw Haerin outside your class. "Hi, Shinyoung." Haerin greeted. You just fake a smile and you saw the 5 guys walking behind you."Hi Suho!" Haerin waved at Suho, and he smiled back."You know Suho?" You asked as you start walking to your next class with Haerin following behind."Yeap. He's my childhood friend, though we're not that close." "Oh, but I thought you sit with him during break all the time?" "Yeah..." Haerin replied, blushing."Wait, you like him, don't you?""Aish." She sighed."I'll talk to you later, to Literature now." You said as you wave goodbye to her and walked into the classroom. Scanning the classroom has became a habit for you. You saw Lay, sitting by the window with earpiece in his ears, as usual. You found yourself walking towards him, attracted to his mysterious aura. "Anyone sitting here?" You asked. He probably couldn't hear so you just sat on the seat beside him. He felt someone sitting beside him and he looked towards you."Why are you sitting here?" He asked."I asked you and you sat there like I didn't exist.""Fine.""Fine." You said and you turned your head away.The teacher walked in and started Literature without a greeting."What's with this teacher?" You whispered to yourself.After some boring lecture, the teacher walked to her table and took some papers out."Pair work, fill up information on your partner." The teacher said as she walk around to give out the papers to everyone.You looked at the paper and there were some questions on your personal life like your family members. Your heart felt heavy thinking about that, you remembered about the nightmares you have every night. You swallowed your saliva."Shinyoung." Lay said snapping you back into reality."Huh?" "I called you so many times and you didn't hear me." "Sorry, just thinking about some things." "Anyways, give me your paper and I'll fill it up myself while you do the same." Lay said switching the papers and writing down his information, while you took his and wrote down your information.After a while, you two returned back the papers. You wrote that you have a step-brother and a lost brother. While he wrote that he has been lost since he was little so he didn't really remember his family except that he has a younger sister. You also saw that he wrote his name as ' Lay Zhang' .Zhang? His surname is Zhang?Lay scanned through your information and saw that your surname was Jang and your mother passed away and you lost your brother when you were really young.Jang as in Zhang? What a coincidence."Are you from China?" You asked."My dad is from China while my mom is from Korea but they divorced because he ran away with another woman." He said."Oh, mine too. I hate my dad so much now." You said as you looked down."I understand how you feel." He replied softly but you could still hear what he was saying.Soon, you and Lay were talking about each other's personal life, you two found out so much about each other. You were usually very cold to people and will not find them very interesting, but with Lay, you found yourself very comfortable with him, like you two met each other before."Wanna hang out with me and my friends afterwards?" He shyly asked."Sure, I'll bring Haerin with me." You replied."Okay, since Suho knows her." He said and nodded his head. "Shinyoungieeee~" Haerin called as she ran towards you."Haerin, we're spending break with Suho and the others." You said excitedly."Why?""Because you want to?""Oh right." She said, feeling a little embarrassed. You two walked towards the canteen and saw the group of guys there, you walked there happily. You don't know why but you felt happy to see the guys, especially Lay."Hey guys." You greeted and waved happily."Wow, so much for being an Ice Princess." You heard Xiumin scoffed. You walked to him and sat beside him."You know, I can be an Ice Princess and a happy princess." You whispered in his ear. You saw a hint of pink on Xiumin's chubby cheeks and smirked.Serves him right."Yah! You can't do that to me!" He whined."Hyung, be mature for once, even the maknaes are more mature than you." Luhan stated pointing to Sehun and Tao. You saw Sehun and Tao waving, feeling proud and you laughed at them. "Ice Princess is laughing!" Xiumin cried out as if the whole world needed to know. You hit him, real hard. Haerin knew how hard you can hit people and she just covered her mouth."Ow!" Xiumin's cries echoed throughout the whole canteen. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared towards their direction."Everyone, please continue." You replied plainly, looking at everyone with the lifeless eyes. Everyone looked down and soon the canteen was bustling with activity."How bipolar." Xiumin scoffed."You want me to hit you again?" You said with those lifeless eyes, except that they were more lifeless than ever. Xiumin looked into your eyes, he gulped down a ball of saliva and kept quiet."Noona! You are so awesome! How did you do that?" Sehun squealed like a fanboy."Just stare, without any emotions." You said smiling."See what I meant by being bipolar?" Xiumin mumbled to himself."Don't think I can't hear you." You whispered into Xiumin's ear again.Being bipolar again."Shinyoung, calm down. Don't need to get agitated over hyung." Lay said. You don't know what came over you but you started to stay calm.Haerin's eyes became as big as Kyungsoo's, she was shocked as no one can calm the 'lifeless' Shinyoung, even she can't calm her down."Woah, Haerin! Your eyes are as big as mine!" Kyungsoo exclaimed and everyone at the table turned their eyes on her and they start laughing except you, Lay and Suho. You noticed that Haerin felt embarrassed."Stop laughing at my friend." You said as you stood up and brought her away."Look what you guys had done." Suho scolded and went after you two."It's okay Haerin." You comforted."Easy for you to say.""Haerin! Are you okay?" Suho said panting as he rushed to Haerin. You swear you saw Haerin blushing."I'll leave you two be." You said as you headed back to the table and sat beside Lay since you had had enough of Xiumin's nonsense."Is Haerin okay?" Lay asked."Yes, I'm leaving those two together." You laughed.
