Awkward (1/1)

At this moment, the atmosphere felt like those times where people try their best to avoid. Some would fidget around to prevent feeling nervous while others keep on checking their phone when they clearly check it 2 or 3 seconds ago. Awkward... That's what it is.Zico on the other hand decided to walk around the bicycle shop. He had no idea why he was still there, accompanying a stranger he saw  a few minutes ago. He walked towards the sofa where the stranger sat and when their eyes met, they smiled at each other. Zico thought he felt something moved at the pit of his stomach, what was that? Zico took a seat beside her and he thought he saw her moved further to the end of the sofa. "You seem to have a lot of time in your hands to accompany me till now.."She broke the silence between them and looked at him, wide-eyed. That was a good point. Does he really have that much time to be sitting here beside her when he doesn't even know her? It felt like a sudden hit to him, he was actually hurt that she said that. How could she say that to him when he helped her? He felt the sudden urge to excuse himself and just leave her there but he wanted to ask her a question since he first approached her to help."What's your name?"That wasn't what he wanted to ask.. That's not it! That's not right! However, he doesn't regret asking it. It was fine to know the name of someone he helped. " Chaerin. How about you?""Jiho..."Zico introduced himself as the young person he is, Jiho. He couldn't tell her his Barade name could he? Telling her his name is Zico is like still acknowledging himself as a Barade.  He doesn't want that to happen. He wants to tell people around him thst he was no longer Zico and he is Jiho.  From now on he wants to be recognised as Jiho. He wants to be the Jiho that used to live with his grandparents and have fun in school. He wants to be the Jiho that once was a joker in class and the teacher's favourite. He just wants to be.."Jiho"Zico looked at Chaerin. She was looking straight at him. Honestly, he liked the way she called out his name. He just wanted her to call him one more time."My bicycle is ready..."Zico nodded and made his way outside the shop. He examines Chaerin's action closely. He saw her bowing to the owner of the bicycle shop and then paying an amount of money to the owner. The owner patted her on the shoulder and told her something that made her laugh. He was curious at what they were saying but he just smiled at the owner. He saw Chaerin shaking her head in disagreement and then bowing to the owner again. She took her bicycle and walk towards him."Thanks for everything..""No problem"Zico nodded and smiled. He was just about to leave when she called out to him."Jiho"His wish of hearing her call out his name again was fulfilled. He turns around to face her and she was smiling at him. The ray from the sun made her skin shine beautifully. How come he doesn't realise that she was this beautiful before?"Do you mind to give me your number? I would like to go out for coffee with you sometimes"-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Chaerin couldn't believe she ask that to him. Why did she? She could feel her cheeks burning, it's probably red right now. She didn't really care if it was red. She just wanted to hide her embarassment for asking him for his number. That wasn't what a girl was supposed to do. It not ladylike at all."Give me your phone"Chaerin hands her phone to him. She took the chance to admire his face while he dial his number on her phone. Then, she heard his phone ring which made her realise how she had been staring at him. She was lucky he didn't notice that. Chaerin read out his number as soon as he gave her phone back. "I guess that's all for today? See you next time!"Chaerin waved at Jiho and smiled."Yeah.. I'm looking forward to Coffee"Chaerin laughed at Jiho's remark and nodded. Both of them walked away from each other, their backs facing each other. Chaerin was sure she felt something when she is with him. She wondered if he felt the same way. She turns around to look at him, he doesn't seem to bother to look back at all. Chaerin was slightly dissappointed at that. She just stood there looking at his back walk further away from her and slowly lost sight of him. After that incident, Chaerin had never thought that her first experience to walk around Myeongdong alone was actually a very boring process rather than an enjoyment and celebration. She wished she had not gone out alone at all and have someone to accompany her but on the other hand, she might not be able to meet Jiho.Chaerin went home earlier than she thought. She came back home at 6. She remembered how she never thought of eating  when she went out just now. She only thought of it after she saw her dad eating ddukbokki in the living room. "Ouh?! You're home? Aren't you home early?"Chaerin nodded and smiled. She walked straight to her room, she just wants to rest and sleep. She doesn't know why she's feeling so gloomy for. She let out a sigh.Chaerin laid down on her bed and stare at the ceiling of her room. The darkness contributes to the fact that she is already feeling somber. However, it wasn't long until she recalled that she asked for his number. She took her bag and searched for her phone. When she found it, she immediatly slide her fingers across the screen to unlock it and searched for his name in the contact list.  "YES!!" She felt relieved that she actually ask for his phone number. Now, She just needed to plan when to call him for a coffee date. "date?" Will it be a date? It should.... right?"I'm looking forward to Coffee." She could still hear him say that at the tip of her ears. It could mean that he wants to go on a date with her too! She grins at herself. Why was she so sad when she know there's another chance to meet him. She hit her head lightly with her palm."Ahhhh~ I'm so foolish.."---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thats the end of chapter 2. Did you enjoy it? I hope you did.. I am running out of idea. What should they do at Chapter 3 when she contact him for coffee. Should they end at coffee and meet again next time accidentally or should they hang out somewhere after coffee and Zico making a move to Chaerin? What should I do?
