Peace Talks. (1/1)

The next day/ HyunMi’s viewpoint   I was reading a book on the roof  that I have discovered just this morning. It’s a piece of brick-roof where two people can sit on, and well, it’s really relaxing here. It’s also perfect for stargazing.I decided to come down for a bit. I wanted to see if my partner had already arrived. As I got down the stairs this guy approached me.“Hello. Moon HyunMi, am I right?” he greeted with a wide smile, his eyes were barely seen.“Uh…yes, hello.”He offered his hand. “BEAST’s Gikwang; nice meeting you,”I snapped out of my astonishment. “Pleasure,” I replied, and shook hands with him. Then he pointed the direction where So Eul-unnie’s room was. “I’ll be going, please excuse me,”“Sure,” and off he went. What a sunny guy. I thought. Then this pretty boy came in. he bowed as he saw me. “Hello. Do you know where Choi Yu Na’s room is?” he said with a fishy smile.I got starstruck again. “Lee Donghae. Super Junior.”He scratched his head in flattery. “Ne. but, um… do you—““I—ah! She’s in the east wing, first room. Er, oppa,”“Oh, I see. Thanks!” and he went out.To avoid any more close encounters, I decided to go back up to my room, forgetting that  I had the purpose of drinking water.“He’ll just come in if he wants to,” I said, leaving the door ajar.I went back to the roof and continued reading. Key’s POV I was climbing up the stairs, and I noticed the door was left ajar. I went in silently, and saw no one in the room. I looked up, and there she was, sitting on the roof , which I also noticed yesterday.I put down the box of bonbons I happened to be carrying. Then a sly thought came into my head.I tiptoed and stepped on the table which served as the stool for climbing up. I stood behind her.“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HEEEEERE?”  I said in a loud, deep voice near her ear.“AH!” she yelped, and threw the book she was reading upward. She faced me and hissed, and started attacking me, slapping me on the arms.“Ya-ya-ya!” I protested. I was about to fall, and I grabbed her hand for  support. But it ended up with the two of us landing on the floor. I guess we did a little flip in the air that I was the one on top of her.“What the--? GET OFF ME!” she yelled, and squirmed under me, and kicked my shin.“GAAAAAAAAHHH!!!” I groaned in pain, and rolled out of her. Do you know how excruciatingly painful it is to be kicked there? She stood up, straightening her back. “Ya, what’s wrong?”“M-my leg… AAAAARRRGHHH,” I replied under gritted teeth. She covered her mouth. “Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry! Ah, but it was your fault in the first place. Here, let me help you up,” I held out my hand and she gripped me by the wrist.I slowly got up, and when my butt as off the floor, she turned to the table and saw the box of bonbons. “BONBONS!” she cheered, which led her to letting go of my hand, and again I landed on the floor.ZCMHXVCUECMTWEVUZWRUWYELADSHGFUYTGBCAYCTGWEUHEWIUHCRRJAOALIYGAUYGRCUUFSDGWERFAEWFEWDAWDSEHDJFSZJHFSVKAOFDVBFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA She stooped down to examine and her thoughts were confirmed. Then hearing my scream, she said “oh my gosh” over and over again. She tried to help, but I swatted her hand away and got up by myself. I sat on the bed.“Hey that’s my—“

“SHUT UP I DON’T CARE IF THIS IS YOUR BED YOU CAUSED ME THIS INJURY NOW LET ME HEAL STUPID NOODLEHEAD,” I said in one breath.Realizing that she didn’t have anything smart to say, she just sat on the chair nearby the bed and examined me with a curious face.I was massaging my leg. I noticed that she was still looking at me.“What are you looking at?” I frowned.“Pff—“ she made a rough sound at the back of her nose, like she was preventing to laugh.“WHAT?” I demanded. Then she burst out laughing, and, yes, it annoyed me. “I—I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude or anything but—you—“ she howled in laughter then it subsided, and she added, “you look really funny.” And added some more laugh. Seriously, if we didn’t have any project to finish you’re probably incinerated by now. “I CAN’T EVEN—“ more laughter. “YOU JUST LOOKED SO EPIC WHEN YOU GROANED IN PAIN.” She managed to say between breaths. She laughed so hard she fell off the seat. Now it was my turn to laugh. I roared with laughter, slapping the bed with my hand and pointing her with the other. She got up, as if to regain her dignity, made a face at me, and went straight to the table.Silence.“This is good, where’d you get it?” she asked with a full mouth, chocolate smudging on the perimeter of her lips. Okay, so aside from being a brute, a sadist, she was also lacking manners. Girls like this should be thrown into eternal damnation.“Taemin insisted to bring you food,” I replied. She looked at me. “Taemin who?”“My son,” I chuckled. “No, he’s more like of my teammate, really. By the way, how long have you been in Seoul?” I sat down on the couch and got a piece. She did a little counting with her fingers. “It’s been my third week now. Wow, I’m still alive!”“Eh?”

“It’s a long story. I barely survived my first week here, you know. Not knowing where to go, being homesick and all, well… I’m kind of surprised with myself that I’m still here.” She swallowed the bonbon whole. Moon HyunMi, ever heard of etiquette?I stared at her for a while, trying to figure out if she’ll last here until December. If she’ll live that long to finish the project; and that depends on my resisting the urge of strangling her of course. “Anyway, what brings you here? I mean… yeah, but… is there something you need to tell me?” she looked at me.“Ah, since tomorrow is the official start of the three months, Miss Lee told us what our plan will be,”“Plan?”“Our time-table. We have schedules, right? Being artists, of course we’re busy. I’ll just visit you every Saturday and Tuesday. That’s it,” I stood up, planning to approach the calendar.“You can’t do that!” she protested with her mouth full, then swallowed the bonbon whole. “Excuse me; you should consult me first! You can’t just make a schedule and get away with it!” She stood up and went to the calendar. She flipped it to the month of October. “What do you want, one schedule for the whole three months? Or different schedules for the months? Ah, different is better.”“Are you really asking for my opinion or not?” I asked with her back on me.She didn’t answer.“Aish,” I walked to her and pointed the calendar. “I’m telling you, Tuesday and Saturday!”She swatted my hand off the calendar, completely ignoring me.“Monday, Wednesday, Friday. That’s it!” she cheered without looking at me.“But Miss Lee said that the van that’ll bring us here is only available on Saturday,”“Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Saturday, then!” She shrugged with a confident smile.I held my head with both hands. “You’re impossible,” “Oh well~” she went back to her seat but I grabbed her hand. “Wait! Let’s settle this in a game!  Rock, paper, scissors!”There was a look of distaste in her face, but accepted it. “Whoa. I really suck at that game. Very well then,”
