Chapter 11 *A Trap* (1/1)
As we were driving I couldn't help but feel like shit for dragging Dara into this...well, shit. I can't believe I was stupid enough to bring her to a damn baseball game when I knew about the killings. What the fuck was I thinking? Now we had to get out of town before that stupid ass vampire, James gets ahold of my precious baby. Which he won't because i'll rip off his balls if he does. Dara jumped as Seungri hopped onto the roof of the car. "Don't worry. It's just Seungri. Chaerin and the others are behind us." I nodded toward the cars following us. I took her back to my place to find that one of the stupid nomads in our house. Top hyung stopped me before I could rip the bastard to shreds. What the hell was he here for anyway? "Jiyong, it's okay. This is Laurent and he just came to warn us about James." "I'm sorry for this shit. I just came to warn you that James has unparalled senses, absolutely lethal...well, except when he gets like distracted by bunnies. I never understood that. He likes bunnies...probably why he likes your lover here...uh...oh, and the woman, Victoria, don't underestimate her. She's a fucking crazy bitch, yo." "Uh...okay..." O.o With that, Laurent left. Top hyung then led us into the garage where everyone was packing for the "Keep Dara Safe and Out of Evil Vampire Clutches" mission. Seungri and Daesung were getting all the vampire killing supplies together. "Top hyung can lead the Tracker away from us. I'm going to run Dara South..." "No, James knows you'll never leave Dara." "Daesung and I will take her. We'll keep her safe, Ji." Besides, if she gets bitten, then my vision will come true and she'll be my new vampire sister! I looked at Minzy in disgust. "Can you keep your thoughts to yourself, please?" "Yeah, yeah. Come on, Dara." She took Dara from me and led her to the Mercedes. I took out a few of Dara's clothing from her bag and threw them at Bom and Chaerin. "Bom noona, Chae...can you wear those and try to lead the Tracker away?" "Why? What has she ever done for me?" I froze and glared at her. Oh, hell no...she'd better not be backing out. I told you this would lead to trouble. This is all your fault! You just have to be selfish and bring a damn human into our world. She growled at me in my mind. "Chae...Dara is with Jiyong. She's part of this family now. And we protect our family." Top hyung handed her Dara's jacket. Yeah! Top hyung is on my side! Take that Chae! In your face! After my mental celebration I quickly went to Dara's side. She looked at me with fear in her eyes. I knew she was scared but I was going to protect her. "Jiyong, if anything happens to you, I swear--" I reached for her face. "Nothing is going to happen. There's four of us and two of them...Dara...YOU are my life now." She looked at me those sad puppy eyes and I almost felt like crying a river of tears...too bad I was freaking vampire and couldn't cry. I grabbed her face and crushed her lips to mine. I pulled away before I lost control and forgot about what we were doing. I let Minzy and Daesung drive off. I sighed. At least Dara would be safe...for now...as long as everything goes to plan...but fuck...when did anything go as planned? >_< ~*~ After we pulled out of the driveway I looked back and saw Jiyong standing here with a pained look on his face. Hopefully he would be fine. Jiyong was strong and he wouldn't let some stupid Tracker hurt him. At least he'd better not or else, I will bring him back from the dead and then kill him again myself...cuz I'm just that awesome. I pulled out my phone and dialed my parents' number to let them know not to panick if Jaejoong called them...that is if he knew how to work a telephone... We drove out of Spoons, down to California. Daesung pulled into a hotel and went to check in. I sat in the lobby while Minzy went to Daesung's side to check in. After we got our room key, we went to the room to settle down. I plopped myself on the couch while Daesung and Minzy stared at the television. After a while a random question popped into my head, "Hey, how to you become a vampire?" I blurted out. Daesung and Minzy looked at each other worriedly and then looked at me. Was it a touchy question to answer? Minzy cleared her throat before speaking. "Well, you see, Dara...it's actually quite simple. A vampire has to bite you and then the venom spreads for a couple days or so...which is freaking excruciating. Basically, it feels like your on fire. It's hell actually...oh, and there's also the chance that you could die if your body doesn't take the venom well..." She shrugged as if it were nothing. "Pain...? Death...? Damn, that's scary." "Mhmm...well, you should get some rest Dara---" Minzy froze. She stared off into the distance. Was she okay? "Damn it! That asshole changed his course..." Daesung grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and gave it to Minzy. "Where? What do you see?" She picked up the pencil and started sketching some room. A ballet studio? Hmm...it looks so familiar. Oh, right! I used to take ballet. That was a horrible experience. Especially since I was clumsy and I would make a fool out of myself whenever I tried to dance and I would smack the other girls in the face when ever I tried to twirl. Yeah, you could say it was an EPIC FAIL. "So, the Tracker is now heading to a ballet studio?" I finally spoke. "You've been here?" "Yeah, I used to take lessons as a kid. The studio had an arch just like that." "Was that school anywhere here?" I just nodded. I jumped when my phone rang. I saw it was from my mom. What was she doing home? She should be working right now. I picked up the phone, ready to explain everything. "Dara, honey, where are you?" She sounded worried. "I'm fine, mom. Didn't you get my message?" "Dara, Dara!" "Mom...?" O_o There was static on the other end of line and then someone else came on the phone. It was a guy...OMFG..."Hello there..." "What do you want? What did you do to my mother?" "You see, your mother came home after reciving a distressed message from you dear brother...too bad it was the wrong timing." "Dara! Dara!" I heard my mom's frantic voice. "Don't touch her! Leaver her alone!" I was starting to panick. "Oh, I won't do anything...as long as you meet me at your old ballet studio. Oh, and come alone...you don't want your dear mother to pay the price for you incooperation, do you?" I hung up and found Minzy and Daesung ready to leave with the suitcases all packed. We hurried down to the lobby and once Minzy and Daesung went to the counter to check out, I quickly sneaked out the door and grabbed a cab. There was no way I was going to let some vampire kill my mother. I managed to steal some pepper spray from a sleeping police officer before getting into the cab. I told the cab driver the directions and off we went. Jiyong was probably going to murder me for sneaking off but this was mother and I wasn't about to let her die. I quickly got out of the cab once we reached the studio and took a deep breath before stepping inside of the old studio. I looked around for any signs of that vampire or my mother but the place was empty. "Dara! Dara, where are you?!" I ran to the closet where the noise was coming from. However, once I opened the doors I realized that it was just an old video playing. Shit...a trap. I spun around to find myself face to face with the vampire. "Impressive...you got here faster than I thought." He smirked. "She's not even here..." He grabbed me and pinned me against the wall. OMFG!! What did I get myself into? At least my mom was safe and so was everyone else but FUCK! Now i'm going to die...but that means he'll leave everyone else alone, right? RIGHT?! "Sorry. Now, behave. We're going to make one last film together. Ready? And...action." He took out a video camer and pressed record. Ah, damn this asshole! I glared at him but I was still scared shitless at the same time. "Aww...I can only imagine the look on Jiyong's face when he sees this little video." "You *censored*! Jiyong has nothing to do with this!" "Oh, but he does. Now...let's continue." I took out the pepper spray and sprayed it in his face and made a run for it. Too bad he had super fast vampire speed. He grabbed my shouler and then flung me to the ground. I ended up hitting my head on the stupid corner of the podium thing. I reached my hand up to touch the spot and realized that I was bleeding. "Tell him how much it hurts! Tell him to avenge you...tell him." He growled. I thought I might as well stall time. "Is there anything else you want me to tell him?" "No---well, actually, he owes me twenty bucks...uh...he borrowed my Justin Bieber CD...and I kind of want it back..." "You listen to Justin Bieber?" "Yeah, not a lot of people like her....but she has a lovely voice." "Bro, Justin Bieber is a girl." "Wait, what? Are you serious? I spent two years of my like thinking that he was a girl. Oh, well, in that case, he can keep the CD. I don't want it." He waved me off. At least I was able to stall some time before he kills me. Well, I guess I might as well prepare myself for my death. "Anyway, where was I? Oh, right. It's sad that he didn't have the strength to turn. Instead he kept you this fragile little human...that's cruel really." With that, he stepped on my leg. DAMN IT, THAT MOTHER FUCKER! I screamed in pain. HOLY SHIT! Why'd he have to break my leg? Ahhhhh! Ahhh! "Once again, tell him to avenge you! TELL HIM!" "No, Jiyong, don't!" AHH! Suddenly, James was knocked to the side. I stopped screaming and saw Jiyong. He looked at me with a semi pissed off expression and somewhat sadness. At least he was here...wait, what?! Why is here?! Ah, damn...now we're all going to die. This is what happens when you fall for a trap. Great...just great...______________________________________________________________________Hey. guys.
