Visiting Taemin (1/1)
Later on that day, I decided to visit TaeMin in their house rather than think about the deal. When I was walking towards the gate, I heard someone calling me.“Yoomi!”As I searched for the familiar voice, I saw MinHo running towards me.“Hi, MinHo.”, I greeted him when he got to me.“H- hello”, he answered back, panting.“Going home?”, he asked me when he already had his breath back.“No, not yet. I decided to visit TaeMin before going home just to check if he’s all right.”“Hmm, let me come with you. I’ll visit him, too.”, he smiled waiting for my answer.“Of course!”He grinned and we started to walk since TaeMin’s house is just a walking distance from school.“How are you?”, he started the conversation.“I’m fine”, I answered as I smile at him.“That’s good. Hmm, having many admirers, right?”“Eh? NO!!”, I defended“No admirer? That’s silly”“Yah! Im telling the truth”“Okay, okay. If you say so”.“Ugh MinHo, do you know someone named JongHyun?”I asked him, hoping that he knows JongHyun since Key knows him.“JongHyun? Hmmm…”, he answered, thinking.“No.”, was his final answer.“Oh.”, I just said, frustrated.“Why? Who’s that?”“No. Just someone. I’m just thinking if you know him since Key knows him.”“Oh sorry. But Key Hyung doesn’t tell us about that JongHyun.”“Oh, okay.”There’s an awkward moment when MinHo broke the silence.“Since when did you and TaeMin started became friends?”“Just this high school year. Her mom and my mom were friends. And one time, when his mom come to visit my mom, he comes along, then we became friends since then.”“Oh. You’re neighbors?”“Yep!”“I see.”When we got to TaeMin’s house, I rang the doorbell. We stood in front of the gate as we waited for TaeMin’s mom to open it.“Good afternoon, auntie”, I greeted her with a smile.“Oh Yoomi. Good afternoon.”“Good afternoon”, MinHo bowed in front of her.“Auntie, this is MinHo, TaeMin’s friend.“Hi MinHo”MinHo replied through a smile.“We came here to visit TaeMin. Is he alright?”“Aw TaeMin? Yeah, he’s upstairs”, his mom answered as she let us come in.We left our shoes outside then auntie told us to go upstairs as she prepares us something to drink. We opened the door of TaeMin’s room and saw him reading a book.“Yoomi, MinHo Hyung!”, he closed the book as he saw us coming in.“Taem, you alright?”, MinHo asked.“I guess. I’m better now, unlike a while. I can’t even sit up.”“That’s good”“Can you go to school tomorrow?” I asked him.“If I’ll feel better than this, maybe I can.”, he answered, smiling.“You should come to school Taem, or else you’ll lose grades”, MinHo threatened him, since we both know that TaeMin doesn’t want to lose any of his points.“Yah!”Someone knocked at the door revealing auntie with three glasses of orange juice in a tray.“Here’s your juice”“Oh thanks”, MinHo answered as he helped her.“I’ll go down now, I still have to prepare dinner.”, she said as she walks her way back to the door.“Okay mom”“Thanks auntie!” Then later, we found ourselves laughing at our jokes and talked and talked to each other until it’s already 6:00 pm, time to go home. “It’s already 6, TaeMin. I think we need to go.”, I told him.“She’s right. We need to go now.”“Uggh”, TaeMin just answered, frustrated.“Don’t worry. If you can’t go to school tomorrow, we will still visit you here.”“I’ll make sure that I can make it up tomorrow!”“That’s good.”, MinHo said“So, bye TaeMin”, I smiled as I wave my hand.“Bye, Taem.”, MinHo charmingly smiled at him.“Bye Yoomi, bye Hyung! Thanks for visiting.”, he shortly bowed at us.“You’re welcome”“Get well soon, Taem.” MinHo said as he opened the door.“Yeah, you better get well soon or else you can’t cope up”, I threatened him again.“Sure!”“Bye!!”, we said in unison as we got out of the door.“Bye, auntie”, I said when we saw TaeMin’s mom watching Tv.“Oh, you’ll go now?”“Yes. it’s already 6, we need to go home.”“Okay then. Goodbye.”“Bye”, MinHo waved as we started towards the door.“Bye kids. Be safe!”We closed the door and put on our shoes then got out the gate.
