It’s been three weeks since that agreement and I’m starting to feel different and smile as I drive over to her place, thinking of her and her laugh, yes, she’s American, but I’m falling in love with her. I tease.I get her to blush, mission accomplished."I love your company," she mutters, "and that’s not why I’m asking. It’s then her phone goes off, her looking at it then up at me, fear in her eyes."What’s it say?" I ask."’Who’s that sitting with you?’"My anger boils but I keep it in check."Come on," I say, standing up, "maybe it’s time to find somewhere new to eat?"She beams and gets up, taking my hand.
