Air (1/1)

-Key´s point of view- It was weird. It was very weird. Onew offered me to stay the night although he needed to get up early the day after. He forced me to take his bed although he knew I didn’t need as much sleep as a human. Yet he borrowed me his green and white dotted pajama and forced me to submerge myself in his overly fluffy bed. He himself slept on the couch so he wouldn’t bother me when he´d wake up. I was already awake when Onew awoke. He was busily cleaning the living room, then ate leftovers for breakfast. I could immediately sense that he was a bachelor, living an easy and simple life. No fancy breakfast, no fancy shower products. I could smell his cheap shampoo and shavings cream. He was a simple man, yet that intrigued me. I could hear him sing in the shower, his voice very warm and soothing to listen to. I cuddled up in the bed, taking in his scent, burying my head in his pillow. I got shivers down my entire body, tensing up, gathering to a ball. I panicked, not liking what I was feeling at all. I got a strong sense of betrayal for my soulmate- my soulmate that was no longer by my side. I ended up listening to his humming, his singing, submerging myself into his pillow and tried very hard to stop feeling, to stop thinking. Yet my mind betrayed me. I listened to his footsteps, them getting closer to the bedroom door. He knocked three times on the wood, waiting for me to answer. “Key? Are you awake?” Onew asked from the other side of the door. I glanced at his digital watch on the bed stand by my head, noticing it was already six AM. When Onew was jailed at my house, he slept until someone woke him. He cared enough for work to get himself up this early. “I am.” I raised my voice, making sure the human heard me. Onew carefully opened the door, letting in some light from the hallway. “I need to pick up Taemin now. Do you want the key, or…?” I glanced at his face, adoring his cheeks. They were chubby, yet he was very slim. He had such a baby face, but still had a mature spark to him. I saw his face perfectly in the dark, wondering if he knew that I had a perfect vision in the dark. But it seems he didn’t. His hair was still a little damp, but he had already taken on his blue and black uniform. I spotted the wound on his neck, a little startled that it was this visible. It was a deep bite after all. I got so many images of myself stitching him up, my throat clogged from his scent. “No, I will leave.” I smiled, getting up from the bed. It felt weird wearing this cute pajama, feeling a little self-conscious. I shuddered by what he had said this night. I was beautiful. He said I was beautiful. “Alright.” Onew answered short, watching me. “Do I look weird?” I asked, taking one twirl and let him see all sides of the pajama. I could hear his obvious gulp, the rhythm of his heart changing to a faster beat. “No, you don’t look weird. Your eyes do glow in the dark, though.” Onew explained, looking at my eyes. I gulped back, picking up my folded clothes from the floor. “I´ll get changed.” I said as a sign for him to give me some privacy. I got shy with him mentioning my eyes. He said they were beautiful. He said I was beautiful. I shuddered when the door closed, quickly changing to my usual clothing. Onew had already gotten ready by the front door, waiting for me to come out. I used a couple of seconds to gather up courage, this not being like me at all. This was not me. Why was this human making me act this way? It was as if a had reverted back a shy young human with absolutely no experience. “It was fun.” Onew said, standing by his car. He had his hands resting on his belt, his police cap tilted slightly to one side. I walked up to him, placing his cap perfectly in the middle. He has to look his part. Onew watched me, making me hope that I hadn’t done anything weird.

“It was.” I smiled, taking a step back to make room between us. “I should go.” He nodded his head to his car, his heart beating harder all of the sudden. Was he nervous? It was so simple to see that he was. Humans are very honest creatures. Their bodies are easy to judge. “Bye.” I smiled, waving my hand at him as he sat in the car.Onew waved back, driving his way. I immediately ran towards my home, feeling a little confused, a little perplexed.my phone started to vibrate just a couple of minutes later, me half-way home. I stopped, seeing his name appear. “Hello? Is everything alright?” I asked right away, a little worried something had happened when he called me this quick after saying goodbye.

“Henry called me just now. He can’t find Tae
