The Chapter Told By Jongh (1/1)

Chapter 6: “Minho ~ Minho ~ wake up you cute, adorable little baby!” What was he doing sleeping on the kitchen floor anyways? I crept up right beside him and screamed, “Minho!” His head jolted to the side and flinged back up as if expecting something there to support him.“Yo, don't do that,” he said groggily; it was hard to tell if he was angry or if it was just the after-effects of waking up.“Yo, man, you've gotta wake up, like right now! We can't risk being late for the first day of class.”His arms and legs flailed upwards. “WHAT?! Class? Today? Right now?”“We're all dressed and ready, and waiting for you; we thought you were in the washroom somewhere in this house. Who would've thought you were sleeping in the kitchen? Were you lonely and looking for sausages?”“EW~ Shut up, Jonghyun! I need to change...” He charged out the door in such speed that when he stopped, the soles of his shoes squeaked violently. It was weird how his tone of voice just suddenly changed; it became all sincere and sensitive... creepy! “Good morning, Marisa...”I followed suit. “Hey, Marisa! Oh, nothing personal, but I think you might wanna get new beds, for Minho anyways. He was sleeping on the kitchen floor and he just woke up... actually, you know what, maybe you should just buy him a wooden board to sleep on.” I felt Minho's elbow jabbing into my abdomen. “Yo, man! I'm just stating the truth...” I grinned at Marisa, and she smiled back pleasantly.I guess Minho noticed something off. “Why are you still in your pyjamas Marisa?”“Hm? What do you mean?” she asked. I gave her a quick wink, but she entirely missed it.“Hm? What was that for, Jonghyun?” Her innocence's too cute. I just felt like going up to her and pinching her cheeks.“Huh? What? Nevermind.” I played it off.Minho started again, “well, Jonghyun was saying...” then the epiphany hit him. “KIM JONGHYUN!” I couldn't help but start laughing; Minho's so oblivious sometimes, it's crazily entertaining.“Jonghyun-san – I mean... Jonghyun...” I cut her off mid-sentence.“Hey, don't feel offended to call me Jonghyun-san.” I actually found it really cute. “It's only Mister over here is so stingy about everything lately!” It really was confusing why Minho was so easily irritated nowadays. We're in Canada! We should be happy, relaxing. And even if he wasn't happy, it wasn't like him to randomly shout at others.Marisa smiled again, but this time directing it at Minho. “I'm sure Minho wouldn't mind me calling him Minho-san either; right Minho-san?” I cringed; she looked so innocent saying it, but sounded so... so... sexual? Even if it wasn't sexual, it sounded as if she had some sort of hidden, subliminal message. The both of them shared a look; I felt as though I was thrown into another universe.“Er... are you two friends... all of a sudden?” My face furrowed up; it was weird not knowing what was going on between the two. Did he “do” her last night? I caught myself saying it outloud, “did you fuck her last night?” Marisa stared at me with surprised eyes and an opened mouth; I guess not. For a moment, the kitchen just seemed to freeze over. I guess Marisa just couldn't believe that I said that, aloud anyways. “Sorry.” I apologized and Minho gave me a grimace.“Nice going smart guy.” I blushed a tad bit, unaware how awkward I've caused the conversation. “Anyways, Marisa. You were saying,” I'd started dancing and singing; thank God, Minho decided to break the ice.“Oh, yeah... um... we're going Downtown this afternoon. I'll being introducing you all to my friend, who's currently taking tourism in University. I think it'll be more worthwhile with her hanging around with us. And she knows herself some Korean.”Downtown Toronto wasn't as frightening as New York, it was actually a very delightful experience, even though it was a rainy, misty day; at least I wasn't constantly brushing shoulders with complete strangers. “The University of Toronto... so this is where SHINee will be taking their English courses, and my friend told us to wait for her here.”I could get use to Toronto; it's so easy to adapt to, and they even have Starbucks ~ oh, how I enjoy a good Starbucks coffee, especially in the morning. The cup I was holding onto right now tasted just like the ones I would have in Korea, and I was so happy to see a few noonas giving me a smile when I walked in. Thinking about being here for a year, I guess, I'm a bit homesick... oh shit! My bladder was reacting to the coffee. “Marisa, where's the washroom?”“The washroom? Er... okay. Walk down that aisle over there and you'll see the Philosophy building. Keep on walking straight towards the other side, and you should see a building. Go into the building, walk up the stairs...”I desperately needed to go, and I couldn't have waited. “Isn't there anything closer?”“The directions I'm giving you leads you to the closest washroom.” Bad answer. Fine. Whatever. I really needed a washroom.“Okay, where was it again?”I completely got lost and decided to find the most isolated place there was. Oh great! Now where was I? I was so busy looking for some place to do my business, I completely lost track of where I walked off to. I looked around, no one. I kept on walking straight down a little walkway. Was I in a park? I looked up in the sky; it was kinda sad, how dark it was.“Ouch! Mother... are you blind? Watch where you're going you asshole!” I woke up from my daydream, and realized I bashed into a girl. Papers were scattered everywhere. She knelt down, picking up the papers with one hand, and the other hand massaging her head. Her face wasn't caked in makeup, but it was still stunning. Her pale skin that had a healthy, natural glow accompanied by a pair of attention-catching eyes. Her attire was fairly risqué; I wonder if she's cold? She was tall, and her legs were long enough to nicely show off how well she worked with ankle-high boots and a pair of red, probably latex, shorts that ended before her ankles. Her turquoise bra was also showing underneath... she looked up and saw me staring at her. She frowned even more and gave me a spine-chilling glare.“I'm sorry. Let me help you.” I helped her pick up some the papers, but others flowed with the wind into puddles. I took a look at the sheets of paper; scratched on the page were musical notations. I scanned the pages.“Yo, what do you think you're doing?” She walked up to me, looking rather angry.“You write music?” I asked her.“It's none of your business.” She pulled the pages out of my hands. The wet pages torn immediately. “Oh no! Thanks, you jackass. What am I going to do with ripped up, wet pages of music that no one can read?” I continued helping her pick up the other pages that were floating around. “You know what, just mind your own life, and get out of mine.” She seemed even more upset when a a girl, followed by several other girls, walked in, calling out a name, probably hers, in a high, airy voice.“Un-Hee! What are you doing here? We don't like your kinds, just entering and exiting whenever. You know, we're not like your vagina. You can't just waltz in and waltz out and expect everything to be joyous and happy.” She ignored them, and continued to carefully pick up each sheet, and checking each page cautiously. “You know, he probably doesn't like you.”“Shut up. You don't have enough IQ to know that.”“Oh, I'm so scared of your shit-filled mouth. You know, Damon likes mouths like mine, which isn't shit-filled. You should ask him; he seemed to really enjoy the kiss I gave him yesterday.”I stood next to her and noticed her eyes shifting towards the girl's direction, and her hand tightly clutching onto the sheets, crumpling the bottom of each page. I felt really bad for her... “And I'm sure you enjoyed giving him your herpyes too.” I didn't just say that – really, tell me I didn't just say that!“Who's this? One of your “clients” is it, Un-Hee? I've always known that you were a little whore.”“It takes one to know one, you bitch!” Un-Hee knocked me out of the way and walked the opposite direction, looking back briefly to say, “and won't you just get out of my way, you dirty pervert!”. The girls started laughing and walked away, some of them glaring at me as they made their exit, others eyeing and winking at me. I wouldn't date those cheap, superficial automatons. I looked around me and realized that that Un-Hee girl didn't pick up all her music sheets before she left; she must've been incredibly upset. I picked up the remaining pages, and followed the same direction the girls walked in from, hoping to find some sign of Marisa or any of the other guys. “Where'd you go?” Key asked. “There were fans who were looking for your signature. I told them that you had to use the washroom really, really badly.”Minho fingered into the conversation. “What were you doing anyways? Taking a crap? 'Cause that's some long crap.”“I was just using the washroom. I don't have to explain in detail, now do I?” They both shook their heads. The pages that were in hand were confiscated away from me.“Did you write this while you were in the washroom?” Taemin was giving the music a quick scan. “Ew~ why are the pages wet?”“Delicious, Taemin. I dare you to eat with those hands later without washing them.” I was obviously teasing, but if I wasn't clever, Taemin probably would've glued his hands onto the sheets.“Ew~ what did you do? You can have them back, man!” He tossed the package of papers back into my hands.I whispered to Key, “is Marisa's friend here yet?”Key pouted and shook his head. No matter how sophisticated Key acted, he couldn't ever completely bind his inner-child. The next ten minutes, the fans returned asking for autographs and photos; I swear, these fans are so loyal. Key was hanging out with Marisa, asking some questions. Then this girl who was at a distance caught my attention; her entire attire was as though she was the rainbow after the rain.“Marisa-chan!” She had a loud voice, but it was awkwardly relaxing, like a head voice, unlike the stupid, airy, stereotypically bitchy voice I heard today. Both Marisa and Key turned around. I signed the last of the Cds, and went to stand next to Key. He had this look on his face... as if he was in a trance. She walked with perfect posture, and Key noticed this too. When she flipped her hair, I could've sworn Key stepped forward. What's gotten into him?“Honey!” Marisa gave the girl a hug; the action was reciprocated. “Everyone, this is my friend...”“Avalon...” How'd Key know this girl? Have we seen her before? Key stole the first handshake from Onew who was standing there patiently, who had his hand extended out first. He noticed Key's emotionless face too. 'What's wrong with him' Onew mouthed to me. I shrugged. The girl smiled brilliantly, grasping Key's hand and giving him a firm shake.“Yeah, Key-san. She's my friend, Avalon-san. You know her?”Avalon laughed slightly, covering her mouth while doing it. “I'm impressed Key. I must've left some sort of impression on the plane.” She waved to the rest of us, smiling, but not nearly as amazing as the one she gave Key. “Annyeong!”  If you thought the last few chapers were long, this is even longer. Hope you don't find my writing style too boring. This is really all introduction; there's still a few more chapters of introduction. Ooo ~ next chapter is probably gonna be written in Key's perspective ;D
